god my dick is so hard right now
Reminder that you should just give up as a species if, even with technopaths and reality warpers on your side, this is literally your track record against robots across 10 timeloops.
Though to be fair Nate sitting out the mugga shit and Franklin being on his dad’s side help the humie factions a bunch
So this is the original not-magneto Xorn right? Just in a timeline when the retconning madness that went down with him never happened?
F
>original file is 10227 x 3056 px
Hickman please, we can't handle charts that big. I had to resize it so I could post it here.
go swinging you magnificent ASSHOLE.
kek
Man as someone who didn’t pay attention to Mystique until the movies of all things I will never not be surprised by what a bitch she is in the comics
Apoclaypse ?
apoCLAPlypse,
[dummy thicc]
>Nimrod is so powerful that Apocalypse can't do shit to him
holy fuck
Remember when Hickman said that this story wouldn't have any time-travel or alternate realities?
>a chart to end all charts
So if I go buy the floppy, does this shit flip out?
>avengers world defeated
Wich one?
Wait, didn't the previous issue say the mutants trusted Sinister because mutant leadership was killed? How, if Apocalypse was the leader the whole time?
When the previous issue hinted at Apocalypse vs Nimrod, I imagined it would be a glorious slugfest, like when Thanos fought Odin. I guess that was wishful thinking cause Apocalypse has always gotta be the eternal jobber. At least he got one or two good hits in.
God-Emperor Hickman has been playing with his preys since the beginning
And now they're both red.
Isn't Nimrod an entire system though?
>External
Not this shit again.
I really, REALLY dont care about the future OCs. I prefer to watch current timeline
The idiots were dumb enough to actually say his name out loud and flag his attention...
>apoclaypse
Good designs
>xiggers
i think like this one
That's not mystique
So Cardinal has the DNA of Nightcrawler and Jean Grey, but who is "Freeman"?
So I'm guessing that Rasputin and Cardinal aren't really dead and that the black hole somehow transported them to modern-day 616.
They feel a lot like unlockable bonus B-skins for their main characters though
Wait I just realized something.
Even if this whole plan worked and Moira ends up making the best future for everyone during this tenth life, it would still suck for her when she dies however she dies and she goes right back to being a baby because then she'll always need to keep repeating doing everything forever to maintain the ideal future for every single one of her future lives.
She can't choose to kill herself before she activates her mutant powers to truly end her existence or else this whole story will be pointless.
Just find a way to make her immortal then.
FUCK YOUR CHARTS TONY.
She doesn't get more than ten or eleven lives. This is her second-to-last one.
Mystique isn't any of those characters.
nah, it's probably nimrod detecting them plugging into the system
she'll still end up dying before the Universe ends
You've been drinking too much of the X-men Kool-aid if you think Franklin and Reed are on the 'human" side. They were never a part of your false dichotomy and I bet the only reason Franklin isn't around is because Moira was too damn stupid to not leave Leech unattended since he's the only one remotely capable of stopping Franklin.
no no the ten or eleven lives thing is because when Destiny look at her future, something happens that makes her resurrections stop at ten or eleven, not because there's an actual cap to the number of her resurrections
>copy/pasted pannel.
Fuck, it's almost like things are starting to make sense!
That's probably just the amount of tries she gets before some dumbass spills the beans about her powers and sentinels time travel to before she was born to end her.
Honestly, they should. You should be able to look at them and guess who they are based off of.
Fine, let’s say Reed is his own side. He still defaults to supporting the status quo, which oh hey, happens to have humans on top in it. And where daddy goes, Franklin follows. I simply don’t see a scenario where Franklin ends up rooting for the muggas when his dad is all about kowtowing to big government in peaceful days and blowing up enemy supers of the SAME species from different earths in wartime
That shine from adamantium skull.
>Well actually reincarnation through time isn't technically time travel OR alternative reality...
This is why I love Hickman. Even in the grand scale or the unconventional plots, he still uses these small references and details of the characters
>He expects Hickman to give a damn about focusing on satisfying character moments instead of just doing machine like plot progress
It's not time travel if the reader is the one traveling.
Either way, she won't have to repeat her actions forever like that user was saying.
What do these say?
That's not really new. It's always been canon that the Nimrods we see in 616 before now were broken versions of hm damaged by an unknown means.
then that means everything here is pointless
since her last life will not be like this and all this will be erased
fuck reading this shit
Unconfirmed but we saw Xorn, Zorn (the Ultimate version of Xorn twin Xorn who is now 616 Xorns twin to differentiate them) and Magneto all in the same panel in HoX #1
Fucking Xorn
See you next week bro
I think 11 is more of a get out of jail free card for the next writer
Also
>reading big 2 because you think it "matters"
Lmao
Technically it’s reincarnation and those alternate realities aren’t really realities anymore. Technically he’s correct...the best kind of correct
>everything here is pointless
unlike all capeshit ever, uh?
Hes not wrong though this will be a single line of causality. The only thing traveling is information. And yes the reader.
Its a guarantee that things will not go as planned here either, and #11 will be current 616. Enjoy the ride anyway!
So how do you think Rasputin and Cardinal will make it into life 10?
Cardinal said they'd meet again in the next world and Rasputin is apparently the girl with her feet in 2 worlds
It's becoming clearer and clearer that this whole things is just arbitrarily complicated way to tell a story that would have normally taken maybe four issues to cover by any other writer. But then you wouldn't have all these charts!
Hickman said he'd finally fix the X-men forever!
HE PROMISED!
It's hickman, the machine's broken.
...
I guarantee you she stop her own resurrection when she gets it right. I bet blocking her powers at the time of her death will stop it and I bet she still remembers how to make the mutant "cure".
Why should I care one bit? They aren't interested characters, they're just talking genetic cocktails.
He wasn't I think its implied Sinister owner threw the original xmen leadership in secret. Apocalypse was probably after Sinister.
Then, uh, fuck off
this is a very solid guess
at the same time it is possible that destiny was just shit-talking moira and trying to put the fear of god into her
Nimrod prob adapted after years of fighting him. Besides He took out two nimrods.
The status quo is mutants eventually supplanting baseline humans. The sentinel programs and anti mutant groups are successful attempts to change that. Reed doesn't do shit to prevent mutants from being born or from being successful, he's sent Franklin to meet the X-men in Westchester before, and his future foundation ensures mutantkind is not left out of intellectual dominance simply via existing and allowing anyone to join that's smart enough.
There's generally 4 sides to this.
A) Most mutants that just want to live or coexist.
B) Militant mutant supremacists
C) regular (without sublime ) humans/supers.
D) Sentinel makers and all of those anti mutant groups.
A is against B and D
B thinks C and D are the same group and that A is siding with D if they stop anything violent B does so A and B are usually antagonistic.
C will immediately go to fuck B and D up if given the chance.
D will attack A and B while also being hostile to C.
It is not that only two sides perspective you keep on pushing.
Just to be clear here. you DO realize that Future Franklin actually kills Nimrod with the rest of the Fantastic Four, right?
I think the 11th life is the 616. And that all of this will produce some piece of info that will be injected into it. So its not pointless. Its just mostly for fun and some change at the end.
its Nimrod's lips are different at least
They really can't decide if Cardinal is waifish or not.
did... did just Magneto get 1 shot by a Sent?
It's not Mags
bro, have you been reading?
Because there are two consecutive HoX issues coming up
Yeah buddy! R.Liefield lives!!!
technically this is just the past from Moira's perspective.
user for fucks sake there are charts.
YOU KNOW THERE ARE CHARTS.
I'm just catching up on this, but are we supposed to know what happened in life six?
It's a mystery user. Like it was a mystery why we couldn't see the end to #9.
>these small references and details of the characters
What did I miss?
the best at what you do
Well, she did die from the legacy virus 20years ago, right? Maybe that broke the pattern after being resurrected?
Coz she's alive nowadays isnt it? I kinda lost track
Oh, what I missed was the fact your post was sarcastic
"I'm the best at what I do..."
Apparently that was now a Shi'ar decoy pretending to be her, not the real Moira. Yay for retcons!
Friendly reminder that absolutely EVERYBODY hates the X-Men now (Yea Forums especially advocates their murder) and this is all a waste of time and money. Marvel is better off just removing mutants from publishing permanently.
So Cardinal is Jean, Kurt, and Ajax of all people?
How do you speak a differrnt language with the same words?
And aparently being a passafist is part of Kurt's mutation?
So that bottom right panel means the phalanx live in black holes and the x^2 machines already know about them at this point. Maybe are even moving toward s trying to join.
They just gave Kuan-Yin Xorn Ultimate Zorn's outfit to differentiate the two and because Ultimate Zorn had a great outfit so why not reuse it.
Assign different meanings to those words? Not that hard.
Also the opening pages. The machine priest has the same black smoke effect around him as the phalanx does from x^3.
It was explained in one of the previous issue's text dumps.
speak for yourself fag
>And aparently being a passafist is part of Kurt's mutation?
So it's not only manga where they have speedreaderlets, huh?
...no, Moira literally says Logan is “the best at what he does”
Go down swinging bro
homophones, brah
According to the script Kuan-Yin is now called Zorn
NEXT
ONCE MORE UNTO THE BREA(ch)
I didn't see that last symbol on the chart so perhaps its a new one for CH?
THEN
IT WILL BE DONE
>And that all of this will produce some piece of info that will be injected into it
"Everyone is gay"
Jean? Are you shitposting again?
>Moira ends up making the best future for everyone during this tenth life
>everyone
Shes making the best future for mutants and mutants only
the 11th life time is when she save EVERYONE mutants, humans and machines
>Apoclaypse
great page
>that smirk on Xorn
That's how you read it? I'm reading it as
>We are all heading towards oblivion
>Most mutants that just want to live or coexist.
After the last two decades of X-men comics I'm convinced that this group no longer exists with maybe half a dozen exceptions (Franklin, Molly Hayes, Wolverine, Sunspot, Cannonball) all the moderates have either died or radicalized. Remember when a small group of X-men got inverted and wanted to kill all humans and the un-inverted ones went along with it with no complaints or protests? Remember during Secret Empire when Emma Frost made the west coast an apartheid state where humans weren't even second class citizens and all the X-men embraced it? Remember when the Phoenix 5 were taking over the Earth and all the X-men were happy to bend their knees and fight alongside them even after Namor drowned Wakanda and only switched sides when it was clear they were gonna lose?
Apocalypse and his followers spent a bunch of time in exile in Shiar space apparently.
Goddamn. Even referencing the fucking Externals.
If anything, all of those are Moira's origins.
Well, then. I'm no longer sure the blue boys of X3 are mutie scum now. I guess the people saying they were flatscan-machine hybrids or mutie-machine hybrids were correct.
Reminder to shut the fuck up and stop posting images during storytime
F
>Xorn's gleeful smile
You lil psycho, you.
Yeah, its the Xorn who was created by Wanda who was Shen Xorn's brother who pretended to be Magneto pretending to be Xorn pretending to be Magneto.
My initial thought was mutants with techovirus. The fact that the humans are in the garden of eden exhibit makes me assume the mutants and machines joined forces.
I figured it was more about Oblivion, but thinking about it after your post, it would make sense a very advanced civilization that remains hidden from sight is within black holes. In Cixin Liu's Three-Body Trilogy, one of the solutions proposed to avoid the Dark Forest annihilation (as in, civilizations destroying each other to preserve themselves) was to create a "black domain", the guise of a black hole to conceal planets and Dyson structures so no civilization decides to venture within.
This could also explain why the Phalanx can't see each other, because they would have to look within black holes and they can't do that, they have to voluntarily leave them. I certainly don't put past Hickman to have drawn inspiration from that book.
So who taught Rasputin magic? Even Illyana had to learn that shit in the mini that introduced her. Soul sword wasn't genetic..
>avengers world defeated
>yesbison.jpg
ekhm.... fuck the avengers
God, you fucking x-fans and your imaginary persecution complex thinking that just because the avengers don't show up for every fucking x-men thing they're all secretly in on the plot to extinguish mutants.
No, you may rest assured the Richards clan is not pro genocidal evil robot overlord.
You won't, and will continue to be angry for in universe characters for not being in universe solutions over out of universe reasons, which is so mind bogglingly stupid only an x-fan could do it.
>That time Emma Frost started a Race War and the X-Men where 100% in on it.
Man I didn't know Marvel was so into making Emma a full time villain again and having the X-Men along for the ride.
you have to make ground for Eternals / X-Men crossover
She just becomes Galactus then. EZPZ
You know whats kind of crazy? X2 isn't that far in the future. X1 is currently at year 52. So X2 is 2090AD.
Sinister probably had the training down pretty well.
hahahaha, "no"
I see the opposite
>Apo-clap-se
like, an american version of apocalypse
It said most of the mutant leadership was killed or went missing. Not all of mutant leadership. So Pocky was one of the remaining leaders.
And since we have precedent for Pocky using Sinister, its not so far out that he'd use Sinister to repopulate muties when they're on the verge of extinction.
No one gives gives a fuck what you're convinced of.
It's not pointless. These lives are all setting up the eleventh and final life, the reality of the present 616, the 'glorious new world'.
Longshot or Shatterstar? The rebels from Mojoworld were called the Freemen, if I remember correctly.
This is what I am thinking. I hope we get a shake up in 616. I kinda want the 5 in 1 back also but that one of them seems to be permanently homicidal.
What would the X-Men be without timeline shenanigans!
Hrmmm. Thats interesting. That would also mean they're bringing future Omega Sentinel and those machine troops as well.
It's really sad that Bugs Bunny ruined the word Nimrod for me. Can never take anyone named that seriously
I think she meant philosophically.
You know at least one of these mutants will be popular enough to hang onto after they abort all these timelines. X-Men love collection them.
Unless she just takes a mutant cure, then necks herself. She's known how to make the cure since her third life.
I think the Omega sentinel is broken as shit in terms of power. Wouldn't she just immediately create Nimrod in 616?
Thats not because her resets are limited. Its because something kills her, preventing her from resetting.
The whole thing with her power is totally leading up to her using the mutant cure once she's decided that she's succeeded.
So what timeline is the one that Moira unites Charles and Erik and forms Krota? 9 or 10?
dumb robots
So big reveals still upcoming.
#1 when Krokoa was first describes in house of X 1 black zones that were likes its versions of cancer were mentioned. That still has not been paid off.
#2 the 6th lifetime. We getting a flashback at some point for crucial information?
#3 The 10th or 11th life thing. Since most of the story is sort of determined its might lack tension as it goes on. I assume the 10th life in the house of x one. And the 10th or 11th life thing is so we dont know what is going to happen. (Probably important info carried over to the 11th life which is 616).
Then at the end Moria gives herself the mutant cure to freeze shit in place and die.
After this issue, I wouldn't be surprised if the blues are just machines controlling mutant/human meatsacks.(I think its possible that they'd keep humans as meatsacks since they could just ensure all the human meatsacks are superhumans.) And that the nakeds in the garden are pure humans.
That might make sense. The "Church of Ascendancy" name points to them already knowing the deal with the Phalanx, since being assimilated by the Phalanx is called 'ascension'.
She might not be able to instantly create Nimrod, but she could speed up his creation. Hell, that might be one of the complications coming up in the book.
Not to mention, any interaction she has with present day Omega Sentinel. She could just transfer all her data as a back up, and then we'd have two crazy powerful Omegas running around.
Guys!
GUYS!
THERE IS A MISSING PAGE IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS CHART!
That's why Life 1, 4, and 10 have no end point.
Somebody fix this shit.
There are two possible results with the Phalanx. Lesser civilization get the techno virus and after it completely takes them over the Phalanx almost take it as food. The second is civilizations that can produce a world sized intelligence which is what x^3 did. The Phalanx consume that and thats how you get ascendance. We dont know what it means but one kinda assumes its more then just getting consumed. Maybe the Phalanx help you turn into them as equals somehow?
Life 10. It's the one with House of X.
There's a missing page here
>Maybe the Phalanx help you turn into them as equals somehow?
You probably join their multiversal network and 'live' as a simulation or something.
If this is not a troll you live in a fucking online bubble.
So, the same as your grandma and her facebook groups.
Its straight up copy pasta at this point and people need to not give him (You)'s.
This is why you shouldn't hire women as internet marketers.
My guess is that ascension just means being assimilated Borg style. You literally become Phalanx.
Nimrod turning people into data to create new AIs could be a precursor tech to that. We know from the last issue that at its base, machine evolution is basically about the increasing the quantity of AIs chained together to form a conglomerate AI.
So everyone gets sucked up into AIs(or a new singular AI), and new bodies are generated from the newly acquired raw matter.
Hell, maybe 'ascension' is just a trap for weaker civilizations, and this is how the Phalanx creates slave races like the Technarchy.
What do female """"""""internet marketers"""""""" have to do with Yea Forums advocating mutant extermination?
I think the chart said they dont harvest minds for AIs past the first couple levels. They just turn raw materials into machines and crate AIs from scratch. You cant use minds past a point certainly before planet level which is below Phalanx which might be black hole level.
Also the human priest had the black smoke effect in this issue. The same one as Phalanx.
It's black hole Xorn, his brother, who is sometimes called Zorn because someone had an aneurysm.
>he guts her
jesus christ Wolverine can you at least pretend killing willing women doesn't make you rock hard
OR............
The Omega Sentinel we saw in HoX IS the future Omega Sentinel, which is why she is in charge of Mother Mold.
>I think the chart said they dont harvest minds for AIs past the first couple levels. They just turn raw materials into machines and crate AIs from scratch. You cant use minds past a point certainly before planet level which is below Phalanx which might be black hole level.
I forgot about that. It said that it becomes less likely the higher up you go. On Ascension it says "If a Phalanx encounters a society that is worthy consuming by adding to its intelligence needs, then Ascension occurs".
That specific phrasing has me wondering if the difference is whether a civilization is organic or machine. Like, the Kree or Shiar would be useless to convert into AI. But a race that has merged with machines are basically AIs riding flesh bodies, so it would just be adding existing AIs to the Phalanx network. Which might be why the Church is converting humans. The Church could be a Phalanx seed that guides civilizations down a specific path leading to Ascension.
Also, on the black hole thing. What if not just the gen 5 mutants going insane is a Sinister plan, but the specific act of collapsing Mars into a singularity is intentional as well? If the Phalanx have some connection to the black holes, then maybe they were guiding shit back then as well.
>Also the human priest had the black smoke effect in this issue. The same one as Phalanx.
The priest didn't. His floating ball did.
But yeah, I was wondering about that. I just chalked it up to a swarm of nano-bots or something.
Translation: youtube.com
More like
>That time the X-men started a race war but got mad when Emma tried to win it
Well fuck you too faggot, the X-men aren't heroes anymore and there ain't no moderates on the mutant side
>X-Men love collection them.
Only if they're Summer's children anyone else is just event fodder
Can Kurt’s red future clone out-sexy him? Let’s find out! Probably not.
>That specific phrasing has me wondering if the difference is whether a civilization is organic or machine.
I think the point of this story might be that a fusion of organic and machine is evolution's inevitable end. The techno virus is already a merging and thats way below the phalanx. That might be whats up in x^3. Mutant machine alliance means merged.
>THEN
>IT WILL BE DONE
WE are going to get Cyclops being badass leader .
The thing that doesn't sit right with me is that the Phalanx use the techno-virus as a clean up tool. Its to forcibly convert unworthy civilizations into something useful. Its not so they can be uplifted into Phalanx, but to "remove/repurpose that societal waste from the universe", as Hickman puts it in PoX #2.
So human/machine hybrids being the end point doesn't make sense to me. In the end, its still about machine supremacy.
The twist was obvious but the execution was incredible nonetheless.
So why do Externals call themselves External? From what I understand they are not related to the Eternals in any form just mutants with longevity power and usually just in the not aging sense rather than being immortal. External doesn't have shit to do with living long. Is it really just Eternals with an X?
This is giving me a weird sense that rather tha machines inevitably rising to meet the mutant threat, in actuality it was mutations in humanity rising to meet the inevitable machine threat. "Pure" humans just felt the machines they made were on their side and probably believed that all the way to the grave.
I mean if you wanted an event that would eventually make humans and mutants more friendly having them actually learn to team up to defeat a greater (machine) menace isn't the worst idea ever. Not that there is any indication this is where the story is headed. Just thinking out loud, as it were.
Actually, I think the Externals are just straight up immortal. Wasn't there something about how the Externals can't be perma-killed unless 1) they were killed by another External, and 2) only one External has to be left alive. Some weird shit like that. I seem to remember Externals being reborn and/or coming back after being killed.
He could have just kept the original sword.
Dude was happily feeding his AI babby source material from an engineered mutant bred specifically for betrayal. Being dumb seems to be part of their primary function.
I assume they are techno organic and we dont know what goes on in the black holes. You are not wrong though it feels like machine inevitably.
Okay, yeah. That dumb shit was from Brisson's recent Cable run: en.wikipedia.org
So yeah. The Externals are now proper immortals.
Mutants do like still an x on things.
Something to do with not dreaming maybe. They only believe in things they have seen before.
See chileans vs rest of latinamerica
>Scott goes too far in AvX and the X-Men turn on him least second.
>Emma goes too far in IvX and the X-Men turn on her least second.
It only makes sense that Scott's 2nd girlfriend would get the same end of the stick he did.
Honestly, why a stab to the gut? Not even the heart, he went for the slow death
>Second great annihilation wave
How the fuck did Moira 1 never figure out what mutants are after THAT? I assume it wouldn't be affected by earth's political climate unless Jhonny did something stupid.
So good, I'm mad I didn't see the Days of Future Past riff coming.
I also thought the ninth life was gonna be something teased out FOREVER so I'm glad we have that wrapped up.
Im reminded of x23 offering to cut one of the new mutants arms off right before house of m or right after. Promising she can do it so quick and clean it wont hurt.
He could have taken her at the neck. The blood pressure would have dropped consciousness near instantly.
Are they kissing?
It's what he does best.
Hes jerking it as well. Dont kink shame.
As funny as that would be, you can see the blood coming out of her mouth.
>goes for the stomach
>not doing a raw snikt to the back of the head
She's all Apocalypse'd up, that's gonna be a slow ass death
Wolverine is just a heathen like that
Who cares? They're gonna get sucked up by a black hole in like two seconds.
Look, user, Old Man Logan can't remember how to use his donger anymore. Not his fault, happens to all men if they live long enough. He honestly thinks snikt-bubbing is having sex. He's doing his best!
>no no the ten or eleven lives thing is because when Destiny look at her future, something happens that makes her resurrections stop at ten or eleven
Destiny made it clear her ONLY options were ten lives, eleven if she was lucky (or even fewer if she tried to come after Destiny).
It doesn't matter at all if she would technically have the ability to live indefinitely numerous lives if Destiny already knows all her possible outcomes and none of them extend beyond eleven lives. That's effectively equivalent to having an "actual cap."
Now that Apocalypse is out of the way, he can finally have dat sweet sweet reincarnating pussy
>I assume the 10th life in the house of x one
You don't have to assume, it's been already established. House of X is the 10th life. 6th and possible 11th are the only unknown ones at this point.
Also, she only has 10 lives as is, she doesn't have to cure herself to stop respawning.
Again dont kink shame.
Time slows near a black hole Im pretty sure.
Also how do you collapse mars into a singularity without taking the whole system?
Hey, I'm happy Logan finally found a girl as old a he is to do his shit with.
>Apocalypse is code
Based
I think this timeline will just end up as not happening after Moira will tell what happens in the present.
It was at the height of Inhuman shilling...
A shame Famine isn't a bit of Black Tom, now I know he will be useless in X-Force.
I’m the best there is at what I do. And what I do... is fuck.
That is North which I think is a Sinister second gen clone? made from polaris and frost. And yes he seems to have been insta gibed by omega sentinels entrance.
Where are these costumes from?
Wolverine will forever be based
F
>X2 isn't that far in the future. X1 is currently at year 52. So X2 is 2090AD.
X-Men 2099 crossover when? We need this.
yes she does. either that or die as an infant, which we already know is not the case in life 10. Destiny said 10, or 11 if she is lucky. So either she cures her mutation in life 10 or she gets an eleventh life wherein she dies before her mutation triggers. Or dies after curing her mutation. Either way something needs to happen to ensure that she doesn't keep respawning.
>Destiny said 10, or 11 if she is lucky. So either she cures her mutation in life 10 or she gets an eleventh life wherein she dies before her mutation triggers
We don't know the conditions for her getting an eleventh life. From the way Destiny said it, I got the impression 10 is the natural cap, and 11th life is something she can get on top of that, if she plays her cards right.
Dope so we have to get all 12 issues
The very short period of 90s X-men prior to the Jim Lee X-men #1 redesigns.
that's not the way I took it all, and I don't think that's the intended reading
>passafist
"Wolverine! You penetrated me with your claws instead of your dick again!"
"FUUUUUUUUUU-"
And this is the last memory Moira takes into her next lifetime.
I'll passafist right into you face
Charming woman. How did she die again?
Well, the charts also list 10 lives, but I guess we can only wait and see how it all turns out.
I gotta say if Rasputin really is going to the 616 I really don't see the appeal of the character yet
it doesn't list the sixth life.
But really, Hickman isn't the kind of writer to say "and maybe there'll be an eleventh life ;)" and not do anything with it
Both trades, you mean.
Thanks user, now everything is clearer
No, I have no doubts that it will come into play, I'm just saying something game-changing will happen to make it possible, rather than Moira just having eleven lifes normally.
It’s how they both get off
>Both trades
Single trade, user. That's the beauty of Christmas.
*ahem*
FUCK FEET
Shut up Adam you Manlet
Feels like the obvious answer to all this madness is that none of what we're seeing takes place in 616, or at least not the 616 we know (and love to hate). Same universe but with radically divergent timelines. The nation of Krakoa in her tenth life isn't the usual 616, we won't get to that 616 until something happens and she ends up in an 11th life.
No clue what the ultimate solution will be. Moira herself is somehow to blame? She's not just resurrecting herself but somehow brining her past failure with her, like some kind of temporal karma? Funny thing is she could very likely cure herself given one of her lifetimes was spent working on that very cure. That'd be interesting. Retconning her as a mutant winds up restoring the pre-retcon status quo where she's not a mutant.
One trade
I know just though it be fun to add shit on to the other user's post.
Red Nebula is hot.
Now wait just one Tiananmen square massacring minute
That's supposed to be Kuan Yin, the one with the star head, not the black hole head
What gives?
Stars collapse into Black holes over time and this is over a 100 years in the future?
yeah CH has its own symbol, this was established last week.
...For god's sake, man
... Doctor McCoy?
>tfw Hickman gives us 3 Xorns
Scott didn't go too far, Scott saved the mutant race. And then he continued to do it past his incarceration. Cyke stays based
Maybe not the blackhole and instead Cardinal shenanigans? Someone with both Grey and Wagner's powers? Could be a very strange hybridization going on, especially since he's defective from his intended design. Something weird like instead of normal teleporting he gets reality/timeline teleporting and his last act is saving Rasputin by bringing her into the next world.
However it's done I wouldn't be surprised if out of this extremely weird and convoluted event some of these OCs survive to reach the 616 we're familiar with. Just another mutant exile from an aborted Sentinel murderfest timeline. They've got plenty of those running around.
There's not really any functional difference.
That's what everyone thinks until BAM(F) everyone is Mystique! EVEN YOU!
Sure there is. Destiny pointed it out. Rather than a straight cap, like Moira used a cutrate Konami Code in her first life, instead her decisions can ultimately fuck her over and lead to her being permadead. Let's not act like that is a distinction that doesn't really matter. The key then isn't THAT she runs out of lives but WHY she runs out of lives.
Sure I'll agree with you on him getting what he wanted and him sticking by his guns is fine but using the same powersecure that made Jean go crazy and become a star destroying Monster for this is for me is a bit much.
I just don't see the point in the misdirect. I liked the idea that X0 - X3 rre all one timeline, especially X2 progressing to X3.
Talk like Yoda, you do.
What if Moira X & Sinister started making Chimeras years ago, to “resurrect” fallen comrades from the future of her past life?
>Second Annihilation wave in year 53
>Annihilation 3 next year
>we have precedent for Pocky using Sinister
Poccy CREATED Sinister.
This time with more annihilatin'!
Dig this rogue costume.
That's... A bathing suit on top of a burkini.
dat storm long neck
Secondary mutation. She's now also a giraffe.
Yes, Apocalypse powered him up so that Essex could serve him. And then Sinister said naw senpai you have a kindergarter's understanding of how natural selection and evolution works, I ain't gonna work for you no more.
Do character actions actually matter in this book or is it all set-up leading to, you know...
>The key then isn't THAT she runs out of lives but WHY she runs out of lives.
Yes, the key ISN'T that she runs out of lives, agreed. She just knows she does run out of lives. I didn't say the WHY isn't significant, but it doesn't change the fact (if it's true) that she has a limit.
>I didn't say the WHY isn't significant
You did if you posted because if she just flat out has a biological cap on her resurrections then the why doesn't matter, user.
We're all going to die. The why is significant to us, but ultimately it doesn't matter whether it's by disease, old age, myrder, accident...
>Great Machine
Oh, Hickman, how I've missed you.
I guess it ws there in previous issues, but I noticed it more here - what's with the grid-type pattern in the background / colouring?
Well that's flat out wrong. There's a reason people want quick deaths and some want release from disease or the pain of injury. And what the fuck is pretending there's no difference between death by accident and murder?
I get you're trying to do this "LOL DEATH IS DEATH EMBRACE OBLIVION" schtick but it doesn't stand up to scrutiny. Especially when death alone matters less to someone with Moira's mutation, or it did until she discovered for some reason her own actions will be her undoing.
Hell, the difference in how you die was a plot point.
Hickman did it again with this story. Moira has died from accident, murder, and disease. In this lifetime she chose to die by sniktbub in order to bring back vital intel.
'Ultimately it doesn't matter' is flat out wrong? Check your ego, dude.
>Apocalypse
>Not being a giant jobber
What timeline is this
There's volumes of court proceedings alone that disagree with you. Stop being a bigger nimrod than Nimrod.
Well it took 4 Nimrods but he jobbed.
We never saw the explicit death, just the pain. It's possible in this timeline he's fighting Nimrods forever! In a way it's what he always wanted.
How did you get to this thread from your regular Rick and Morty "nihilism is cool bro" circlejerk?
Is Hickman the Western Kubo?
What the fuck does the law matter when talking about how much of a blip your life is in the grand scheme of things?
Anyay, the point was, if it's true Moira HAS a last life coming, how that comes to be doesn't really matter IF it's true that there's no way past it.
Why did they gather so many types of mutant dna when they could have just used a single mutant (Legion)?
Seems horribly inefficient
>The status quo is mutants eventually supplanting baseline humans
has there ever been a timeline thats shown that?
There's a chart in House of X #1 that outlines this.
Death is always more than just personal, user. Nobody exists in a vacuum. There's always other people connected to your life. Well, maybe not YOUR life. You might be so alone nobody would notice if you dropped dead, family, (nonexistent) friends, your made up gf, and society would shrug.
But for Moira you're damn skippy it still matters because she was flat out told by Destiny that her choices matter! She was warned that she will only have ten lives OR eleven if she makes the right choices. Even the comic laughs at you.
that humans are completely replaced by mutants?
which one?
Being fair that chart was based on a projection from some AIM nutter. I'm not arguing with you though because in the Krakoa nation timeline this is probably the case barring intervention.
my mix of interest/ambivalence not only continues but increases!
seriously, it just keeps being interesting points drowning in bullshit.
So wait what was the point of all that Shi'ar/Throneworld hinting if all the X^3 stuff turned out to just be a failed timeline? Just to misdirect the reader?
>the most ancient civilization in the galaxy
The Phalanx laugh in the distance.
It's especially weird since they mentioned Xandra, but there's no way she could have been born in this timeline.
Not until The Heart
>What the fuck does the law matter
Accidental death and murder are treated quite differently. You can ask Johnson and Johnson and the cigarette companies how much disease matters too when your product is deemed responsible.
The same chart that implies being a mutant is some contagious disease that was only stopped/slowed because of Genosha
Don't Apocalypse and mutants rule in Cable's future?
In a philosophical sense, you and a fellow user may both speak English, but if one thinks Rei is best girl, and the other thinks Asuka is best girl, then you might as well come from different planets.
One of the shops I went to today was selling this cover for $15. Glad I passed on it.
Second Annihilation Wave is Hickman’s F4, from the war of the four cities.
The Shadow King killed her while he was possessing Legion.
Whether it's 10 or 11, if there's a limit, THAT's the key point here.
I'M laughing at how hard some of you are finding it to accept the dual notion that life is very important but also ultimately doesn't matter.
So how useful are these Nimrod files actually going to be? Even if they find out about Nimrod's activation in this timeline, those were completely different circumstances to 616. Apocalypse fucking things up presumably caused Nimrod to be activated much earlier and under different circumstances. I highly doubt they had access to Sol's Hammer to build Mother Mold.
No shit they're different, but the result is still identical. Legal issues? Is this because Americans are mandated to BELIEEEEVE in the holy constitution or something?
The timelines given even show that Nimrod was activated earlier in life 9.
Shit, son, we've been over this. The WHY those become her limit, because her choices determine when she truly dies, is the key. This has become such a circular waste of time just because some user can't handle disagreement about his post that it was functionally the same thing.
so the star that was Xorn's brain collapsed into a black hole?
>Americans
Because no other nation in history has recognized a difference between accidental death and murder? user, are you feeling okay?
Maybe it always was in this timeline. We seem to have a few blackhole brains in the thread too.
So how come Apocalypse easily took over in Age of Apocalypse and a bunch of other alternate timelines, but in this one some machines posed such a huge obstacle to him that he only had 6 henchmen left?
It's 80's fashion. Stop making me feel old for knowing that.
Jean's costume triggers my autism
It was happening in Morrison's run. That's the natural result of the majority of mankind being genetically altered to eventually have a functional X-gene. Sinister was causing it to happen early as a dropped plot point but it's bound to happen eventually anyway with immortal mutants like apocalypse having a bunch of kids every few centuries.
I would have a laugh if in some future timeline half the mutants on earth were descended from Mandrill because he's one of the only ones actively making mutant kind spread.
Is MC2 the only good end future timeline?
I just noticed this is a limited series. Is there something Hickman related after?
moderates are faggot race traitors, real heroes like magneto know what must be done for survival.
Moira literally lived out lives where she tried coexistence and was still killed. Also I didn’t read your wall of text.
Believe he's going to be the one writing X-Men afterwords.
Next issue is apparently X-men doing X-Men things
Yeah, rolls straight into the relaunch with this new status quo. Hickmans writing X-Men and the first arc of New Mutants
captain universe was an avenger at the time so the avengers get credit for that.
i dont think that one counts since it popped to save the day from the kree armada.
There's been at least one typo in each of these books so far, this is par for the course
Apocalypse is so based. Whatever happened to that clone of his that was friends with Deadpool and Fantomex?
Apparently Evan is gonna show up at some point, he was on the pre-release character sheet.
I just hope he doesn't get absorbed into Apocalypse or something but Hickman doesn't seem like the type to throw away characters
Oh shit is that Corsair
Also I didn't know Vulcan was still alive
I know Hickmans doing his whole "mutant culture" thing with the clothes but I wish Jean would wear her Phoenix costume instead of Marvel Girl
>I didn't know Vulcan was still alive
Does it matter? Everyone seems to be back either way
Last time I saw the guy was in War of Kings and he was a big deal at that point
I really find it weird. Does all the reality Moira has been in only have mutants? Where the hell is the other heroes, villains, demons, gods, riders, angels, inhumans, eternals, aliens, sorcerer supremes, and etc. Are they all just dead? Or is the machines really that strong? If so, the machines really should just rule the multiverse.
In the Magneto timeline her and Eric got taken down by Marvel heroes
>6th life not revealed yet
>book has 6 issues
It's all coming together boys!
>IT WILL BE DONE
Based Chadclops being right and based
Seriously. I mean, how do they stop Ultron? Doom? The F4? Thor? The Eternals? Why hasn't any of Dr. Strange's foes(let's say Umar) come and murder Nimrod the moment Strange croaks?
A fuckton of Nimrods?
>The Summers Family
>Also Wolverine is there
My head canon is that the mutants launched an Alpha strike against humanity's strongest defenders and immediate threats which forced humanity's hand to go full on machine ascendancy
It's always Americans that cite particular court cases, and muh constitution. Here it's over cause of death at a really small individual level, when the discussion is bout a character with multiple, universe-changing lives. The story is not about whether the airline in life 2 was liable.
Moira got him to play his hand too early?
Even Age of Apocalypse ha him nuked by the human forces at the end.
The original Days of Future Past cover had posters of non-mutie heroes with X's over them as well as mutants.
yes, I got it, but this is not a small reference
Killing women and repeating "muh best at wat muh do" at nauseam are some of Logan's most famous things.
He did it to Rachel and Jean the same shit, after all.
Wasn't the explanation in Days of Future's Past was that everyone was caught unaware and the Sentinels adapted too quickly for most of the heroes to fight back?
saying "it's what you do" isn't a small little detail, it's his fucking catchphrase
It had to be one hell of a strike. My 1st targets would be Doom(and destroy his Time Platform), The F4, High Evolutionary, Pym, Banner, Strange, Stark & Ultron.
No, the discussion was dumber than that. Following back the chain someone posted that it didn't really matter if Moira had ten extra lives like some vidya character or if her own actions lead to her breaking her own cycle of rebirth before her mutation kicked in. As for the plane crash that indeed has implications on her powers. Imagine for instance if the crash had occurred before her mutation kicked in. She's vulnerable to happenstance if it strikes early enough. Hit by a car, mauled by a dog, falling down the stairs, sharing dirty needles. As long as something kills her before her mutation activates she's done. Game over. Yet no doubt it won't be some random BS that eventually kills her but something hugely plot significant, otherwise it would be really, really dumb.
Still the fact that she's vulnerable, at least for a 13 year period, to bad luck is important. Her powers don't involve precognition so really there is no way for her to know what the changes she makes will do. She tries to make her best guesses sometimes but others just trusts in big things. Still it's telling that she never relies on herself. She never becomes the big leader of mutantkind, rather she hitches herself to some other person to carry the load into the future and hope they don't get Terminatored. She's tried Charles several times, Magneto, Apocalypse. The closest she's come to acting on her own initiative was leading a team to cure the mutant condition which lead to failure and her own death. And that, honestly, is where Moira really fucked up. It showed her who she should really have paired up with: Destiny. What Moira lacks with her changes is a roadmap so she can steer around any unexpected dangers on the new course she's plotting. A person with precognition powers would have been immensely useful. As long as she didn't mean Destiny any harm Destiny wouldn't have to follow through with her threats against Moira.
Ajax?
She only gets 10 life bro.....shes on her last one. She gets an 11th if she does things right whatever that means.
It's so cool to see Apocalypse as a team player. Do you think it's Evan?
it's pretty explicitly the OG
Do machine girls really need tits?
Honestly, dude? If i created a robot i'd give it tits and a huge dick, and i don¨t even care what its purpose would be. It could be a test dummy for all i care, it'd still have tits and a dick.
Alligator Man! Clearly he developed his own mutation that made him one with gatorkind! Fuck Wolverine, when you need help you call up Gator-Aid!
Maybe it wants tits and just likes how it looks.
We all know what it's purpose would be.
She's a cyborg human augmented with super duper Sentinel technology.

>We all know what it's purpose would be.
The tits are to lure the preys in, because all men love tits and most women are bisexuals in the end so they to love them tits. Also the dick is for psychological warfare. It's a great intimidation factor.
I am actually smart. In the future all robots will have tits and dicks. I figured this shit out.
Are they all gonna die?
I know.
Does this mean pre op Trans Women have the superior human body type?
Of course.
Relax, it's just Captain America posting from Tony's computer fucking up Scott's MUH PHOENIX thread.
>I wish Jean would wear her Phoenix costume instead of Marvel Girl
Yeah, I'm not big with mutants, but I really dig that outfit a lot. She looks great in it.
This guy gets it
I'm sure if he's plays his cards right Netflix will give him his own show with sexy dickcannon robogirls and a car that turns into a bigger, blacker bull. Yea Forums will love it.
Drumfers vs MAGAs
Gen-X Emma is best Emma.
Moira also failed to avail herself of any of numerous different time travel technologies for averting bad no fun murder futures so she wouldn't have to fuck up so bad she has to off herself to try again. Or tried to find a non-insane reality warper to help her smooth over the rougher bits of her changes, like declaring No More Sentinel Plotlines.
Nine lives wasted and it's like she's not even trying!
I think Vulcan is one of pod people
>Or tried to find a non-insane reality warper to help her smooth over the rougher bits of her changes, like declaring No More Sentinel Plotlines
That could be what she's trying on Krakoa (in what I can only assume is life 10)
They mention that Omega Level Mutants are Krakoa's greatest natural resource, and a big chunk of them are reality warpers. It could be that she's spent this life nurturing Omegas so that they will all be unified against the Sentinels and the Phalanx
Wolverine is the dog.
The dog that the wife secretly fucks.
They also stop those files in house of x -1 from the company. Damage control which is a shell company that ended up with copies of tech files from reed richards and tony stark who were missing/presumed dead for awhile. They know what is going on with that sols hammer/mother mold thing.
>stop
stole*
He does seem to be able to dupe the shit out of himself. And Ultron might just kill himself if Pym dies from a lack of meaning.
This probably. Ultron seems to be the machine singularity.
Shes omega sentinel a human augmented into a cyborg sentinel. Didnt she team up with the xmen when Jubilee stole that baby?
I wish she would wear tight jeans witht hat guge ass from around Morrison era.
>guge
huge
Didn't Kitty have the Soulsword at one point?
But Shinji is Best Girl.
Well first she got corrupted by a Nimrod virus from the future so she tried to kill Hope Summers. Hellion pushed her shit in and left her brain dead and Beast just kinda took her with him when he left Utopia
And then a sentient bacteria named Arkea infected her when she was in a coma and took over her body, using her to attack the X-Men. Psylocke used her psi-blade on her and that removed Arkea and somehow also removed all of her sentinel cyborg tech as well, leaving her as a baseline human. She ended up leaving the X-Men to work with an Israeli super agent
>wanting more multiple personality mutants
that path is very dangerous

Is mother Moira.
She is Akkaba?
why does Jono look like he's having 'Nam flashbacks
planets can live around black holes if they orbit far enough and aren't caught in the nasty accretion disk. Stellar Black Holes aren't even that dangerous compared to normal stars.
I fucking love this new Nimrod. He feels far different from the older Sentinel threats.
every Emma is best Emma
>Moira 1 never figure out what mutants are after THAT? I
Are you retarded? Thats from timeline 9. Waaaaay after she knows what mutants are.
Fuck, man. Marvel needs to get Weaver to team up with Hickman again for an arc or something. His interiors are fucking great.
Thats because the 10th life is the current life, you dumbass. Even if she had 100 more lives, they still wouldn't be listed, because they haven't fucking happened yet.
Probably just another typo. Or Hickman conflating his Ultimates versions with the 616 versions.
That's the look of someone whose mom just found him stealing the TV again to buy crack.
Well, then. Thats one way to reveal yourself as being a bandwagoning faggot who hasn't read X-Men before.
>Needing three of them to fight Apoc
How did the machcines win?
Shouldn't Rasputin be significantly more powerful than she is portrayed? She got Colossus for default durability. Shadowcat for intangibility. Unus for forcefield. X-23 to heal whatever manages to bypass her defenses. And the fact that have the power of an Omega like Quire which should further enhance her offensive and defensive capabilities.
He's remembering the post-HoM days when he was on that shitty New Warriors roster.
And I just now realize this is Live Die Repeat but with the mutants and sentinels . It's like terminator meets Gargoyles.
She’s portrayed as the one-woman army that she is?
Not every mutant is as powerful as Poccy.
Also, a bomb or bullet kills several mutants very well.
Wait the fuck up!
My Nigga Vulcan is alive?
> 4 Nimrods
That's not jobbing, user, that's going out like a damn champ
So Xorn's a walking continuity eror fluctuations between a Black Hole Cyclops, another Joseph, two brothers from Ultimate1610, a singularity and a Black hole, and this one is saying he is a singularity black hole.
The first act that the Moira we know as a not mutant, first cures herself of Mutation, destroys her copy of the cure, and begins caring for mutants medically under the guise of studying mutants, walks around with a limo and eventually gives birth to Proteus, and maybe Legion, I don't know if Legion is her son, honestly.
She has those powers, but not to the same level as their progenitors.
Based on this chart she only has about half strength for Quire, Kitty and X-23's powers
60% strength for Unus's forcefield
Colossus is the only one where she's full powered
F
What do PHALANX do for fun in their black holes?
Is Moira an Omega level mutant that can reset time once she dies or does she just reincarnate into an alternate universe?
This is like a mutant genome explanation for "Magic" being Magik's 80s powerset.
Play Sparkle Fingers while pretending to be Dark Celestials. Try and figure out if they were in Guardians for a the Galaxy Vol II
>It's where we're headed, where we're all headed
Immortal Hulk reference?
only good Emma
The first one if this is neither creating alternate timelines nor time traveling backwards. Each one is HER life, we shouldn't be able to get comic stories after each one of her fails because...idk. What was Mystique and Destinies future like after Moira burned to death?
Holy Shit, look at them dubs. Tweet that to Hickman, Self.
>real heroes like magneto know what must be done for survival.
Scare people so bad they kick start the machine uprising?
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Leave. Asteroid M embedded in the body of The Carrier from The Authority leaving Marvel Continuity for Wild storm, it's Mutantkind's last great hope.
For Authority, I'm going Phantomex, Dark Sentry, Kid Apocalypse, Hydra Cap in Cosmic Cube Armor, Dark Phoenix, and a Female half naked Ultron. Why does Onslaught look so much like this Nimrod? Onslaught Maker hybrid, when AHHHHHHHHH!
>I didn’t read your wall of text.
Summery: In several noteworthy events, the biggest dicked mutant said "kill all humans" and every X-man regardless of moral opinion follows without question
Illyana's Soulsword can outlive her and had been passed down to other people, even non-sorcerers
Kitty got it after Illyana died
And then Amanda Sefton inherited it
And then she gave it to Nightcrawler for safekeeping (but he never used it)
And in alternate universes other folks steal the Soulsword all the time
In at least 2 realities Colossus has gotten the sword after Illyana died
616 Angel stole one from Exiles Magik
Even the future evil Hulk aka the Maestro has kept the Soulsword as one of his trophies
Trips of Truth though...
Legion is not Moira's son. Legion is David Haller, son of Xavier and Gabrielle Haller. Gabby was a Holocaust survivor(thats definitely been retconned by now) that was in a coma or something that Xavier cured back when he was buddy-buddy with Magneto. After Magneto has his disagreement with Xavier and leaves, Xavier and Gabby split on good terms. Neither of them knew Gabby was preggers with Legion when they split.
Also, she only seems to have inherited Quentin's telepathy. Not the full range of his powers. Which further limits her OPness.
>immediate threats
A lot of those threats are way WAY beyond the X-men's caliber without writer's fiat protecting them
>Ultron
>Dormamu
>Shuma-gorath
>Beyonders
>Kree on the warpath
>Skrulls on the warpath
>Asgardian foes
>Beta Ray Bill and the rest of Asgard coming to avenge Thor
>One Below All/Gamma mutates
Hell anything magic/mystical/divine and they're fucked because Magik is a low rent demon lord and Forge doesn't fuck with magic since Nam
Presumably, she's resetting the timeline with each death. So the timeline's history never progresses past her death and gets overwritten with the new history caused by the changes she's made.
>Each one is HER life, we shouldn't be able to get comic stories after each one of her fails because
Which really muddles up what X3 is, since that means it can't be X2's future. So I'm thinking X3 is from the sixth life. The sixth life is one where the machines reigned supreme. And that would explain why she shifts gears to stopping the machines to the point she spends all of life 7 killing Trasks trying to stop Sentinels from rising.
And life 9 is Moira recreating the events of life 6 to gather all the information necessary needed to get things right for mutants and stop the machines in the decisive tenth life.
create Black Hole Chans
>Ultron might just kill himself if Pym dies from a lack of meaning
Ultron fucked off from Earth, took over the Phalanx and fucked the Kree so bad they still haven't recovered he'll be fine plenty of organics to kill around the universe and maybe he'll get some of that sweet pink Nimrod ass when he returns
x-men still should be its own separate universe, these are the exact reasons why the crossovers never work
Given this was Mister Sinister involved whose whole deal for the longest time was creating the perfect supermutant, I doubt he just settled on a flawed creation that fails to express the full power potential of the genetic donors. Maybe Rasputin just hasn't developed her range of talents to the same degree, but I suspect a far simpler explanation. Ignore the other donors involved for a moment and consider that this is basically Colossus with Kitty shoved up his ass. It's no wonder in that state she encases herself in living metal and refuses to do much of anything else. It's like wearing your husbando as your skin.
Why is it when you fuck with a redhead mutie the Phoenix comes hauling feathery butthole across the galaxy destroying everything in its path but when we get a future with Sentinel sized boots stomping every mutie face into the ground forever it's like, "Fuck you, I'm sitting out this event."
Whaaat? But Hickman showed us that when Moira teamed up with Magneto he got Avengered to death but when she teamed up with Apocalypse he wrecked every heroes shit.
>Given this was Mister Sinister involved whose whole deal for the longest time was creating the perfect supermutant, I doubt he just settled on a flawed creation that fails to express the full power potential of the genetic donors.
To be fair, this is also not a Sinister working on his own. Its a Sinister that has been enslaved by Apocalypse.
Its implied he caused the mutant leadership to dwindle to the point he was asked to repopulate them, and that he intentionally sabotaged the gen-5 chimeras into destroying Mars. To me, it looks like Sinister was fucking things up specifically to get out of Apocalypse's control. Get some freedom. Not that his freedom lasted very long, in the end.
sinister betrays them and sets up the death of key mutants leaders behind apoc's back
does omega miss that lady scientist or something?
she seems forlorn and going through the motions
That was the implication. But the timeline graph also shows that Apocalypse enslaved Sinister early on. So it wasn't so much as Sinister tricking them into trusting him, as it was Apocalypse using one of his pawns to repopulate mutants.
Did someone get ink on their fingers and leave fingerprints all over Logan?
Can anyone else see that?
Someone mentioned that happening in previous issues as well. I'm wondering if its significant, or just the artist using fingerprints as funky linework.
>It's like wearing your husbando as your skin.
he has done it in reverse
But that's not him, not really. Sinister didn't successfully body hop into her.
Dude doesn't even have a mouth to smoke it with.
Snorts it up his butt. A very advanced technique.
So was/is the plan 'Wait 'til it looks like Nimrod is coming, and don't worry, Magneto and Charles probably won't have died in the meantime, and if they do they'll get better'?
What timeline is the ascension in if it's not the same one as evil Nimrod?
Thankfully.
Send messages to MUUUUURPH!
>What timeline is the ascension in if it's not the same one as evil Nimrod?
It's hard to say especially since Nimrod has a thing for time travel. I suspect this could be leading to the revelation that the reason machine intelligence is inevitable is because the dipshits from super happy Ascension future keep manipulating the past so that they always end up reaching the point where they can woo the Phalanx in for a booty call. Rather than send Terminators they send the idea to receptive minds. The greater the perceived mutant threat the more eager the normies are to listen to that great idea and fund a bunch of building sized murderbots - and beyond.
Pym should just "turn them off" again
>So was/is the plan 'Wait 'til it looks like Nimrod is coming, and don't worry, Magneto and Charles probably won't have died in the meantime, and if they do they'll get better'?
Definitely not.
Considering the events of Moira's fourth life, its pretty clear that Moira and Xavier(and Magneto before he told them to fuck off) have been manipulating some events to steer history to where they want it to be. They're actively working towards something.
Fucking up the machines is only one part of the plan. You're forgetting the human/mutant war side of things they're also trying to solve. Like she said to Mags, Moira doesn't just want mutie survival, but mutie dominance.
Regarding Nimrod, to me, it looks like Xavier and Moira intentionally created the immediate circumstances that cause Nimrod's creation. Which gives them a heads up, and lets them be ten steps ahead of everyone else.
Pymtron should just morph into Janet again and drop another deuce on someone's wife. It's what the fans want, nay, deserve.
you are missing the page
What.
>”Aw shite, forgot t’tell Jubilee th’ bloody condom broke.”
This is an edit, right?
Noooooo. Bendis totally had Ultron shit on a sleeping Sentry ho on page. Yep. Mhm. That totally happened, alright.
man, when Bendis was running Marvel he literally didn't give a shit
I know. But c'mon. Thats a bit much even for Marvel.
It is kind of sad that Marvel is so dogshit, that the question of whether that page is an edit even has to be asked. Like goddamn, tanking your reputation that much is fucking ridiculous.
Correction: Not sad. Pathetic.
X3?X2?
user, keep your companies straight, Marvel hasn't devolved to Boundless yet
Jesus fucking christ. Penis dinosaurs puking semen on apemen is not something I ever thought I'd see.
The eras in PoX.
X0 is Year 1, with the Moira revealing herself to Xavier, and Moira/Xavier recruiting Magneto scenes.
X1 is Year 10, the present day stuff with Orchis.
X2 is Year 100, with Apocalypse and Nimrod.
X3 is Year 1000, with the blue men and the Phalanx.
To be fair, that's not Ultron, that's Janet.
welcome to fucking Boundless never try to read it, it's all so terrible but I love that fucking cover
actually it was Ultron taking over Tony and making him look like Janet. So...even worse
I can't believe Brian Michael ''Blacks can't do no wrong'' Bendis wrote that.
I don't know which one is real.
>smell enemy approaching
>"hold up" instead of "GTFO!"
Are you retarded? I specifically pointed out that it would happen independent of anything she does, so timeline 1 would theoretically still have that same event where a fuckton of alien space monsters are beat back by mutants.
FUCK YOUR CHARTS, HACKMAN.
>So the timeline's history never progresses past her death and gets overwritten with the new history caused by the changes she's made.
>So I'm thinking X3 is from the sixth life
But that would mean she somehow is still alive in X3, thousand of years in the future?
That's actually sort of true with Sentinels. Cable has been time travelling to the past our past, not his past.) to stop sentinel tech from spreading before.
maybe the sixth life results in mutants and machines allying, and joining the Phalanx turns out to be REAL BAD
Jesus, you're dumb. Earth is active enough in the cosmic events that Apocalypse fucking up the planet with his war is enough to alter even cosmic history. Not to mention, Moira and Apocalypse went to fucking space to retrieve the First Horsemen, and who knows what the fuck they got up to during that time.
The cosmic landscape being different changes how the first Annihilation Wave plays out. Hell, simply not having large players like Rich and Wendell significantly changes how it plays out.
So no. The second Annihilation Wave is not independent of Moira's actions.
Yeah, thats what I'm thinking. I mean, we already have her living up to 2090 in X2. With all the bonkers technology running around, its not far-fetched to think she'd live up to the X3 era.
You think an annihilation wave gives two fucks about apocalypse? Jesus Christ, you're retarded.
probably not individually, but Apocalypse can still affect the course of events
>blah blah blah I'm too stupid to understand how Earth history being different affects cosmic history blah blah blah
>our past, not his past
I mean, there's not really any difference, considering Cable was born in the modern day of 616.
Considering the first Annihilation Wave got unleashed because of Civil War, I think you're grossly underestimating the impact Earth bullshit has.
Did it? The only connection between the two I can remember is when Rich and the gang send a beacon to Earth for help. And it just gets ignored.
The negative zone prison stark made
The reason Annihilus invaded was because Stark and Richards built Prison 42 in the Negative Zone. Annihilus took that as a declaration of war from the positive zone.
Wasn’t the Wave already invading by the time the prison was built?
Huh. I completely missed that connection. My comic-fu is weak
Celestials son
I guess, to be fair, there's no actual Celestial civilization that we know of. Just a bunch of Celestials who roam the universe like a biker gang doing Celestial stuff.
