Nah I'm kind on Marvel's "side" in this but Sony was putting up all the money in making the Holland films. Feige was the creative lead but everything else is Sony.

But the 50/50 co-finance deal is fair enough in my opinion. Before Marvel was getting the 5% for free but is now willing to spend 50% on production to get 50% of the box office. Sony could've negotiated maybe to 30 and get more Marvel games but completely bitched out. Fuck them.

Feige wasn't just the creative lead there, that was shared with Arad and Pascal, as well as the production rights. Meaning, Feige put money in the venture too.
You could say Sony invested the most in it while letting Feige handle most of it, sure. But it's not as simple as "hey, Sony lend Marvel Studios their characters so it's not up to them to decide how much they can get from it", because at the end of the day the creative team was the sole reason it was successful.

Are you a fucking dope? Sony doesn't have to go through Marvel Studios to get permission to make games. These aren't tie-in advertisement games.
Marvel Games is a seperate entity, and right now all they care about is making deals with big, reputable game companies with no real discrimination.

One of the strengths of the MCU is that it has multiple popular characters, not The Spiderman & Wolverine Show, which is what the comics division basically is.
