I find a sense of balance in ratio and proportions and weight tends to increase appeal of a character design overall.
IE Her tits and chest should at LEAST act as a counterweight balance to her hips and ass.

As for the face. It usually comes through emotional expressions on the face that give it "character", which is what the primal brain is looking for: an emotional investment.

Anything else is just a stylistic choice.

Addendum: after looking at examples in thread. I suppose a large ass can also balance out an oversized cranium. It's really a matter of balance in the underlying shape or silhouette of the figure.
