Except Martian Manhunter, Flash, and Superman aren't always bailing each other out of problems outside of occasional team-ups. The Avengers and X-Men have had that stuff and Cap has been involved in helping mutants in the past. He vouched for them when he was top cop and used good PR to help them, the stuff with A+X, that mini crossover he had with Namor and Scott before AvX, even Messiah Complex had the Avengers trying to help the X-Men but they couldn't get through a forcefield from what I recall.

But maybe just fucking maybe the forcefield was there because the writer didn't want the Avengers to be involved and just used that as an excuse to not get them involved. But doing that for every X-men story is really tedious. But X-fag don't fucking recognize that Editorial keeps heroes apart unless it's a team-up or the occasional crossover and even the shared universe isn't always that fucking consistent. I mean Cap is wanted right now and persona non-grata but he's fine in Avengers. And right now who knows what the fuck is up with Hickman's X-men but it seems like it's in its own bubble.
