Somehow they had to make sure no one in the audience was confused by signaling to the viewer that Lola wasn't just Bugs in drag. Rabbits Run had kind of a weird plot, didn't have the same continuity as The Looney Tunes Show, and wasn't well advertised.
It felt like WB had some early 2000's action/thriller/comedy/romance script lying around that they adapted for Looney Tunes. It's not awful, just not what you'd expect.
