Depends on the wearer and continuity.

Movies, cartoon and comics. Stanley is the only wearer i know but i never read the comics. Should i?

You should.

Just so you know, though, Stanley in the comics isn't nearly as nice and isn't nearly as fortunate.

I think Big Head's generally just an amoral asshole who does whatever the wearer would really want to do if they had nothing stopping them

this, for example cartoon/movie Stanley is a good guy but comic Stanley becomes an outright slasher killer once he gets the mask

Don't you just LOVE Halloween?

Feel free to give me some light spoilers

>So the Mask is a bad guy or a good guy?
Sure.

Go read the summary on wikipedia if you don’t care

I love maskposting

Okay, you know in the movie how he makes the balloon animal Tommy gun? He kills those guys. You know in the movie how he shoves the muffler up the guy's ass? He kills those guys.

In the comic, he stomps his grade-school teacher to death. She's an old woman, and he brutally murders her in front of a classroom full of students.

>Stanley is the only wearer i know
Dorian puts it on for a while in the movie.

The dog, too.

I don't know why but Maskposting gets to me like old school Baneposting more than other shitty Yea Forums memes, maybe it's because it's actually derived from a genuinely laughably terrible scene.

The comic is also where Walter comes from, whom you should recognize from the cartoon. He's far more brutal here, though.

And in both comic and cartoon, he tries to put on the Mask only to find that it won't work on him.

/mort/ posting gets me too

It's funny how characters like Peter Parker are often portrayed as the ultimate pure of heart good guy when really you're giving some internet incel a lot of power.

Does anyone have that
>nobody stopped him
image?

NOW WHERE DID THE WIFE PUT THOSE DUBS

nice one user

In the cartoon, the Mask would always say that the only reason he prevents the destruction of the city is to protect that one night club he really enjoys, even though he often fights villains who aren't threatening the night club.

Basically, cartoon Mask was tsundere for Edge City.

original comics:chaotic evil
movie:chaotic neutral
cartoon:chaotic good

>This

There are two masks. The comic book one turns everyone who wears it into a mad sociopath with no inhibitors. The movie/cartoon one amplifies one's inner true self by removing things like fear or shame. Both give you the superpower of cartoon physics.
I prefer the movie/cartoon version, it's way more interesting to think about.

>Ipkiss Head: Yes.
>Punk Heads: not really, sort of.
>Joker Mask: Holy moly no!

The scariest thing about Mask/Joker is unlike the regular version, when he honestly believed he killed Batman... he had no intention of stopping.

>be me at age 14
>watched the movie in theaters and soak up how hilarious it was
>frequent the comic book stores on occasion
>"hey! The Mask is a comic book now! I'll pick up a copy"
>later read it on the couch

Could TV Mask beat Comic Mask?

What would happen if Bane wore The Mask?
