I don't know, why no Jet Set Radio cartoon? Samba de Amigo? Super Monkey Ball? Space Channel 5? Crazy Taxi? Because Sega generally likes giving priority to Sonic alone.

I like the original NiGHTS concepts. Sells the fact that he used to be one of the nightmare bad guys.

Yeah, I really love some of the early concept art for certain characters. That one really does sell the fact that Nights was a creation of Wizeman.

Totally, I could see certain episode staring the kids from the two games, but nothing is stopping Nights from interacting with other children in their dreams

The comic flopped. What makes you think that it was going to get a cartoon of some sort? Plus, as others have noticed, it was a video game on one of the biggest console flops of the time, Sega's mismanagement causing the Saturn to crash and burn. The sequel being mostly forgotten doesn't help things any.

Plus, Sega's poor relationship with Archie (see: how Penders fucked up the Sonic cartoon deal) pretty much guaranteed that they weren't interested in working on anything else, especially not something like NiGHTS.

NiGHTS works best when the only character allowed to talk is Reala, it makes the whole thing pretty surrealistic which is the whole point

A show would need voice acting which would miss the whole point

Okay fine, I think a NiGHTS cartoon would be good because I like NiGHTS amd I'd really want it.

I don't think a comic would be good as its a silent medium. NiGHTS really depends on its distinct music. I also think that is why the Sonic comics have always struggled to get above mediocre.

She/he is just an imaginary entity invading children's dreams when these children have key personality and willpower aspects imaginarily robbed from the psyche and which puts the into a deep and incurable depression and steers their lifechoices to the gutter. All this orchestrated by some strange god of nightmares who wants these parts of your mind and soul for his own vague purposes.

Keep in mind imaginary is also real, just in a parallel dimension where dreams take place. Oh, and she can turn into a car.
