Blue's Clues is like one of the only preschool shows besides Sesame Street that's actually quiet. It's so chill and calm, and nothing else since has really done that.
Paw Patrol is about as disgustingly product-driven as most 80s cartoons. I don't want to sound like a bitter old man, but Blue's Clues, despite pushing a shitload of merchandise as well, never seemed like its main goal was to get parents to buy every new toy that came out.

don't really care enough to think anything negatively about it, and this is coming from a person who grew up, was obsessed with Blues clues, and had a Blue Clues themed party when I was a toddler. I also didn't mind the Patton change either. I'm just glad he's trying really hard.

It looks incredibly faithful to the original, so that makes me happy. It's obviously early to tell, but it's looking like this will be a reboot/remake finally done right.

I'm not sure about making literally everything blue. I don't really remember that much about Blue's Clues, but I vaguely recall that Blue was the only actual thing that was blue in the entire house to let her stand out more.

Call it a nitpick, but Blue and Magenta being CG just doesn't make sense when all the other animated characters are still 2D. The human characters being the only ones who looked out of place in the world they were in made it seem more like a stylistic choice, whereas having it so even some of the animated characters look just as out of place as the humans just seems more like just a random choice

Someone hit me up with the source for Steve endorsing this guy. I think he looks appealing enough for kids and his enthusiasm was fine. I don't like how they changed Blue and Magenta. Considering they kept everyone else the same, I don't understand why Blue and Magenta had to change. They don't look terrible but I don't think the change improves on anything.
