DECEPTION

Troll.

DISGRACE

Hard to say, there are parts I can see someone invested in. If they kept in the deleted scenes, the was animation better, and the story more polished, then I would probably be in the same boat as them. At least the soundtrack is good.

Bambi 2 and Kung fu panda 2 personally.

Is Lion King 2 the new meme

Good shit

It hasn't happened yet but it seems inevitable that George C. Scott's McLeach will get in the great Hall of Fame of underrated Disney villains with Ratigan, Horned King, etc.

Best answer, it's legitimately better

I don't know when Lion King 2 started to become a thing around here. It is the best Disney sequel, I actually enjoyed watching it more than once as a kid.

Of course you did

>Bambi 2
Seconded hard.

>Bambi 2
I could see people saying that if they don't have as much of an appreciation for the original's technical achievements and animation quality, it's definitely one of the better DTV sequels.

>Rescuers Down Under
Great movie, but I feel the original Rescuers gets too much shit around here. Bernard and Bianca were the best part of the original and in RDU they often got cast aside in favor of new characters. Wouldn't call it worse though, the original has some flaws like animation recycling.(coincidentally, from Bambi)

Sure, I believe you

I should rewatch this one day just for shit and giggles.

It was only good for Vitani

Let me phrase it like this.

Childhood is wanting to fuck Nala.
Adulthood is realizing Kiara is a better wife.

>Bambi 2
Shit taste. The first one was already about Bambi's growth into the next Great Prince, so the whole thing is just a less interesting rehash.

Bambi's dad loses the mystery that he had in the first movie, and Ronno is completely pointless.

It also has animals dealing with human problems like bullies and father-son relationships instead of animal problems, so the degree of realism of the first one is lost.

does it show Simba killing all of Mufasa's puppies ?

Yeah. It's just a good little flick with great animation

This.

First Shrek is far better.

Lion King 2 sucks. Kiara is an insanely boring protagonist, Kovu overcomes all his evil brainwashing in about five minutes and is generally useless, and Zira's a dull moustache-twirler. The songs are nothing special, aside from "We Are One."

Kovu's supposed connection to Scar is also completely nonsensical.

He's obviously supposed to be Scar's son, but then the scriptwriters realized that him falling for Kiara would be incestual, so they changed it at the last minute.

So you have this weird dynamic where Kovu's basically just some random defector, but everyone is acting like he's Satanspawn and he spouts weird dialogue like "Scar wasn't my father, but he's still part of me and his darkness is in me blah blah blah", which makes no sense. If Kovu's not related to Scar; how could Scar's "darkness" be in him? If anything, it'd be Zira's darkness. She's his evil psycho-bitch mother, after all.

Kovu is dull. Ono is not.
