The problem is that none of her fans read comics, the ones who post up pages from The Injustice comics crack me up the most seeing as how she helped Joker murder thousands of people with an act of terrorism and tricked Superman into killing a pregnant Lois. And she gets off without even a slap on the wrist because “she’s sorry” and “didn’t know Joker was going to do that” and is even made a member of the JL.
Her fans are so bad and clueless that I’ve been told that she named Task Force X the Suicide Squad, and it doesn’t help that DC has made her greater than the trinity combined
I miss classic Harley Quinn and I'm really fucking tired of the modern version, I don't like her anymore.

Unironically because she’s a woman. Women are forgiven far more easily than men, especially if they can cook up a sob story. It’s why female villains are far more likely to turn good in fiction, and it’s why women get lighter punishments than men for the same crime in real life.
Female characters start out with audience sympathy, male characters have to earn it.

This is nothing new at all for comics. Venom, Punisher, and a lot of other antiheroes started as straight up murderous villains who were later softened to make them more marketable.

Harley is good, modern comics turning her into a victim isn't. She's supposed to be just as crazy as all the other nutters in Arkham with her particular brand being violent obsession combined with this perfect image of Joker that if he starts going too far against it she'd outright murder him and while Joker doesn't care about her day to day those bits of violent madness make him fall for her all over again.
In the cartoon when he tried to replace her she broke out of Arkham just to beat his ass and when she tried to kill him at the end of Harlequinade he responded with love.

Naw, it was two pages wherein Doom hires some artist to paint his portrait. He got a little loaded off wine, was feeling down and began to cry about wanting to call his mom. The artist painted this and Doom vaporized him for it later. But kept the painting. You should check out Superior Foes, it’s a great series that didn’t last too long. Highly recommended

I think one of the things that piss me off the most about modern Harley is how much she's stagnated Poison Ivy's character into nothing more than HER supporting character.

Just remember that in Injustice 2, Batman accepted the main Joker culprit around, the guy who blew up Metropolis and pushed Superman over the ledge. And for some reason Superman didn't snapped her neck in the first second of being in the same room with her.

I hate cuz even in BTAS Ivy mostly just tolerated Harley. She felt a kinship with her but she wouldn't put up with her looniness for too long and wasn't afraid to let her know. But it feels like everyone is afraid of her being even a little rude to her because they're meant to be some sort of idealized couple. Harley and Ivy were fun when they were a Thelma and Louise who went on fun crime sprees. But everyone likes Harley so Harley can't be bad, and Everyone likes them together so they can't have any conflict or abuse cuz that'd be problematic. It's OBNOXIOUS. Everyone wants to treat these characters and their relationships like they're fucking real and cares about Harley's being abused by literal villains as if that's not a thing villains are just...gonna do cuz they're fucking villains.
