I’m not surprised this show is as unloved by its target audience as it is. If I was a 4 year old and I saw this, I would think it was an unofficial, bootleg shit and shun it.The logo and font looking exactly like the ‘Lion King’ movie, but with King changed to Guard; the main character looking like young Simba, but not quite exactly like him-some changes here and there are all red-flags that it’s ‘fake’. Disney should have called it ‘The Lion King Adventures’ or ‘Lion King: Tales from the Serengeti’ . I was a pretty perceptive kid (maybe it’s autism or OCD) and I knew right away when I saw bootleg Pokémon shit, even as a little kid.
