When did comics became so creatively bankrupt?
When did comics became so creatively bankrupt?
SJW leftist progressive communist anti-white agenda
Specifically american superhero comics? I'd say the damage was done when the Image guys left(not judging them, just when it started), and truly solidified when no one wanted to take Quesadas job.
I don't know why you lumped Blackest Night with those other two. But yes we're reverting back to 90s edginess
white people are their own anti-white propaganda, look at who you elect as your leaders
1954
1927
1996
Oh it’s not Blackest Night, it’s A Tale from the Dark Multiverse based off Blackest Night
Even as a slasher movie fan, these are just lame.
1994.
No risks.
Status quo must be maintained
Replacing established names with literally whos insead of attempting to make a new name.
WHEN THEY DID THING I DIDN'T LIKE
HURF DURF DURF
HURF DURF DURF
HURF DURF DURF

Absolute Carnage has nothing to do with Maximum Carnage though
How is Snyder getting away with the Judge Dredd rip offs in his batman stuff? First he did the dark judges/deadworld, and now last knight on earth is a post apocalyptic story with a Bruce Wayne clone roaming the scorched earth.
That's not Blackest Night, it's the "What If" Blackest Night in which we find out what would happen if the Black Lanterns won.
>Big tiddy Demogoblin coming
>Symbiote doppelganger army
>Shriek is already back
>Carnage is going after everyone who had worn a symbiote which includes Captain America who opposed him during the event
>Cloak/Dagger and iron fist have a tie in book
>Carrion coming back probably
>Fighting Venom and Spider-Man, Black Cat soon because she wore a symbiote too
>Harry Osborn son, a character frequently featured throughout the storyline is present and playing a role in the story
Yeah, I'm thinking Maximum Carnage is Back
Somewhere around the mid to late 90's.
Well, user, it has more or less the same characters. But the plot is nothing like Maximum Carnage. What is "creatively bankrupt" here?
Oh yeah?
Explain this
Fuck Yea Forums can come up with better gimmicks and events than this. How about "The Justice League becomes giant monsters/kaiju and the plot becomes a Godzilla parody"
>cover invoking Maximum Carnage
>even the title is a play on Maximum Carnage and clear homage
>Bringing back most of the characters involved in Maximum Carnage plus a bunch more
>Carnage and his freaks attaching New York City
Gee
So every time someone makes a homage it means that comics is not creative?
Homage.
Is ultimate Venom still burnout creepy Eddie?
>tfw nobody remembers Minimun Carnage
The first issue of Absolute Carnage and the tie in with the Riot and co symbiotes have actually been quite decent though. Though this might drop in quality later down the line.. and I havent seen the other tie ins yet
>dude if I use the same caratcters and a similar plot, and bring in all the characters from other crossovers and events it's just an homage lmao
The covers are homages, using mind controlled symbiote instead of mind controlled New Yorkers isn't
>>Big tiddy Demogoblin coming
When did Demongoblin become female?
>Symbiote doppelganger army
This is actually pretty cool since Dopple has been kind of a pet of Carnage’s since Maximum Carnage, nice to see that he isn’t forgotten
>Shriek is already back
I honestly could have done without her coming back to be honest, but that FCBD issue was good
>Carnage is going after everyone who had worn a symbiote which includes Captain America who opposed him during the event
Now, this is where it gets tricky for me because last year they did they whole Venomized story and a LOT of people had symbiotes, but it feels like the majority of them which could warrant one shot tie ins are being brushed aside. And this is probably a good thing since Venomized was fucking garbage (I really wanted it to be good) and Absolute Carnage doesn’t need to be any bigger than its list already is. Also, the Avengers tie in seems like it will be more of a follow up to the time when Carnage took control of Cap, Wolverine, Hawkeye and The Thing during Carnage USA.
>Cloak/Dagger and iron fist have a tie in book
Is that the Lethal Protectors book? I like that trio as a team on paper
>Carrion coming back probably
And maybe not, who knows?
>Fighting Venom and Spider-Man, Black Cat soon because she wore a symbiote too
True, out of everything this here feels most like Maximum Carnage
>Harry Osborn son, a character frequently featured throughout the storyline is present and playing a role in the story
Is he? I’ve read the first issue of Absolute and two of the tie ins so far and haven’t noticed Harry, Norman and Normie tho seem to be playing quite a big role, but that has more to do with Red Goblin than it does Maximum Carnage
Seems more like a stroke down memory lane with Carnage and symbiotes
Justice League: Monster Battles would be a good idea. You're hired, user.
Absolute Carnage is fun tho.
It's crazy how Venom become god beyond void. Is he tier 0 now because he can exist beyond multiverse and dimension?
How is it “fun”? I’m sure if you asked people they’d tell you the BWL is also “fun”.
>When did Demongoblin become female?
in this event
Is it not?
Maybe? he was captured by Beetle and taken to Latveria iirc, the next Venom to appear was someone else
Batman Who Laughs is terrible.
Great. Now what does each Kaiju JLA member look like?
I picture Kaiju Wonder Woman looking like a classic Greek mythological monster and Hal resembling Dogora or some other space horror
Oh....oh my, oh my yes, this is good, I wonder if she’ll pop up in the Immortal Hulk tie in.
What? Are we talking about the same comic here?
Batman who laughs isn't the only Batman who Laughs.
>&
>big tiddy
my mistake, I have an addiction
I meant Normie but I spaced out on his name
Take those stupidly adorable candles oꜰꜰ ʏouR Heᴀd ᴀɴd Get oveR HeRe dᴀme!!!?
I picture Wonder Woman looking like a Mothra knockoff where her logo is a patter on her wings and she shoots golden silk. Superman is a big crystal monster
They need to follow the comic toooooo the panel if they want a successful Maximum Carnage movie, though it'd be better as a tv mini - series
Why won't Marvel make animated movies any more? Did no one like the Lionsgate ones?
Reading the first part of it my opinion is that the artwork looks pretty good, the interactions between Pete and Eddie were amusing when it needed to be and also interesting. Carnage looked monstrous and the ending had me intrigued for what happens next.
Not amazing but so far it's been entertaining.
>random Chrono Cross post with the voodoo fall with the giant nail through it
Holy shit, it’s like I’m 14 all over again
Honestly I’d fucking Kill for them to make an animated movie out of Maximum Carnage, or Carnage-Man
I'd wage war if they worked the game theme into the soundtrack
Absolute Carnage is pretty good so far.
>opening credits are from the opening of the game
>mid way montage is a metal version of the game music
>end credits is a brass version of the game’s end credits
I keep throwing my money at the screen, but nothing is happening
Much better than whatever era we're in right now where every character is either acting like a sassy white woman who never had someone tell her to fuck off or some emasculated dude.
when sjws took over.
hiring based on gender and skin color and discriminating against more talented white men does that. 100% of modern writers only care about promoting "social justice" with their stories and removing anything "problematic" from comic book lore. They have never cared or liked comics until they got popular.
also since liberals get triggerd by nearly anything that also limits your creative freedom a lot.

>90s fags are old enough now that we have to have nostalgia for the 90s which is becoming 30 years ago.
90s edginess/cyberpunk/apocalyptic wasteland was the best aesthetic
I actually like it, the flying bat skull is a good look
I would say the early to mid 2000s
Yea Forumsmblr will bitch and deny it but he is right
do you consider jews as part of those white people user?
>Carnage has only really been harmed by electricity so far
>the same thing they finally K.O'd him in Maximum Carnage
ok im done
>But yes we're reverting back to 90s edginess
minus the cheesecake but more "diversity" and "feminism" instead
You know, there are plenty of non-shitty comics out there you could read instead of bitching about capeshit.
At least check out this thread:
Carnage is immune to both sound and heat thanks to Darkhold and the new symbiote he's using
>People in this thread who don't have high enough IQ to appreciate Carnage stories.
>in which we find out what would happen if the Black Lanterns won
…Everyone would be dead? This was never meant to be ambiguous, was it?
I think ti may actually be the Demogoblin possessing Scorn's corpse or some shit based on synopsis shit.
what happened to Carnage? is bullseye it's new host?
About when movies started to take off so protection of the brand became so important they couldn't do anything interesting with characters anymore, also when writers realized they should just save all their actually interesting ideas for their own creator-owned works.
Though the trend of characters stagnating so to keep fanboys hooked has been growing for a long time.
Yeah these three edgy retread serial killers are totally a result of SJWs
Still going to read it because I loved that shit.
Sega is
2013-2014
Blackest Night was good, better than Siege or Secret Invasion.
I’ll agree with this
