All water does is sap heat from the system to break the fire chain. If you start a fire from a place that doesn't have great coverage by the fire suppression system, the flames would get so hot that even by the time they reached areas with better coverage, it'd be way too late.

I think the movie was ok. Not awesome or good. but ok. I wasn't disappointed but not impressed. The visuals were great and the dimension bit was fun to watch (I love coliding animation styles).
They took some liberty with the lore for the sake of their story. Like the part with the straight line conquer line. And why do the tallest blow up planets in this line when they send troops to weaken the defenses of said planets?

Rock had a more emotional story imo. IZ was great, but it just felt like some movie that came out while it was airing. Rocko was more what I would be expecting from a show that isn't supposed to return, but hey if they're using these to gauge interest for a potential revival then that's pretty dope all around.

But I felt more emotions watching Zim.

Zim relied too much on status quo and deus ex machina for me to care too much by the end of it I guess, and it didn't go as dark as the show used to. Maybe I'm just a sucker for 90s nostalgia.

I disagree. And I never watched Rocko for an emotional story, although the Christmas episode did it well. Rock’s primarily a comedy show that goes the line. A transgender frog could be funny, but they didn’t want to go there. Strange since the 90’s show did go there. ETF was the culmination of Zim, Dib and the Irkin war story and I think it hit its mark while remaining true to the original series. And it was plenty dark too.

They should've could've given it more setup. Based off how the movie went, I think it would be great. They still have the old magic, and it even seems like they improved things a bit by making the show not COMPLETE unrelenting cynicism and having the Membrane family be a bit closer. Don't get me wrong, I liked the original show, but having all the characters earnestly hate and neglect each other literally all the time got a little old.

Hey I watched it on my parents Netflix account and am convincing other people with Netflix to do so.

It was always implied that the Tallest would never actually come destroy the Earth, they literally had no idea it existed beyond its general direction and an idea of what its name is. The Tallest never expected Zim to actually conquer it; most of the planets got conquered within a couple days.
Also there have been tons of bad ends that would effectively end the show but got reverted on the next episode. If anything, it'd feel weird if there wasn't some sort of bad end.

With how Membrane centered this movie was, It'd make sense for something more Irken focused next time (>implying next time). Tak's return and revenge could be a central plot point there.

He's Johnen being Johnen, the movie has been trending on Netflix but regardless, no matter how well it does it's not going to affect whether there was more Zim or not. Nick had been trying to get more Zim for years and still only this movie was made. If Johnen had really wanted to do more there would have been more.

I'm pretty sure this movie is the last Zim we'll get, and it's great. No one should have expected more regardless of it's reception. I wished we had gotten a full 5 seasons but it is what it is.

No. It was legitimately funny.
The comedic timing was strong as hell throughout the entire thing, much like the show. Most people just didn't like it because it was unabashedly absurd and zany, which came off as childish to a lot of people especially all of your retarded friends in high school who had no taste and refused to watch western animation because they were neck-deep in their anime obsession phases.
