The decade is almost over. It's time to crown Yea Forums's definitive cartoon of the 2010-2019 decade! Over the next few weeks, I'll host a bracket tournament to determine what cartoon Yea Forums feels represents the ten year stretch. 64 shows will qualify, one will be crowned winner! Here's how nominations work: All you have to do is name a show that has been active in the 2010s. If you see a show you support being on the tourney, you reply to it. Five replies means the show is entered. After enough nomination threads go by, a poll to decide the 64 entries and their seeds will be done.
One of these or MLP has to win. There's nothing else that was really as significant.
Austin Allen
not a chance, AT blew it harder than any other this decade. Im sure it will lose quick.

Isn't a competition for the best but which best defines the decade. AT is one of the shows that most does so. Shit, the fact that it declined so much could just mean it represents the 2010's even more.
"Significant" or "large" does not necessarily mean good. All three have tremendous issues I see being the pitfall of them in this tournament I know mine will lose but I'm still hyped for this. Look how many people got invested in the best character tournament and you'll see that won't deter anyone "defines" as in "what cartoon could you show that's the best of the decade" is how I saw it being phrased
The projection. Sorry user, other people's lives don't necessarily apply to yours.
Grayson Harris
Reading "what cartoon Yea Forums feels represents the ten year stretch" feels more like it's based on what was most influential/popular than good in my opinion. But I bet AT will lose just because so much of the board ended up despising it.
Brody Myers
you say that but watch as the show loses quick and is ignored in favor of those who learned nothing from AT mistakes yet remain popular even today AT was just the transition point.

If the show piloted in 2009 and was aired as a series starting 2010, is it still in the running?
Ayden Baker
Sure. It's not going to win, but I should be there. Yes. No joke, Pizza Hero might just be the funniest single episode of any cartoon that was made this decade. If we have a "funniest episode" tournament, there would be no contest.

Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes debuted in 2010. It gave us the best >Thor >Hulk >Wasp >Captain Marvel And arguably did it better than the MCU movies. The show was tragically cut short due to executive meddling.
So no one’s gonna mention the horse show? Cancerous or not, it had the biggest impact on Yea Forums and the rest of the site out of any other show this decade
Yes it does. Because of Hater & Peepers. Only because the titular dup going on adventures is actually funny sometimes. It won't win, but I liked it so much more than horse show, unlike most of Yea Forums and the internet in general. Almost everything except S6 was great, so yeah.
Take care.

Now nominating: 1) Regular Show
2) Hilda
3) Harvey Street Kids/Harvey Girls Forever
4) Penn Zero: PTH (it won't win, but fuck you, I actually liked it far more than Star Vs., which I only endured for Ludo and Toffee.)
5) Welcome to the Wayne & Legend Quest (both were good GF alternatives that deserve more love & respect.)

and over the garden wall is a made for tv movie special, its not even a full series
Parker Perry
Boy if we're honest, that might be a short tournament. Marvel would be largely 2010 stuff.
If AT,SU,Star wins then I am creating a new Yea Forums where I dedicate the defamation and criticism of the show and fandom.
Joseph Russell
Sending my support.

>64 shows will qualify, one will be crowned winner! You know these tournaments are as fucking atrocious as the American school system, right?
We always end up pitying fan favourites like Courage the Cowardly Dog vs something like Venture Bros and we always feel bad for picking one over the other.
It's like discarding 31 Einsteins over 1 meanwhile the other 31 shows are full of special eds kids like Clarence. We need to change the system, Don't be a fucking retard.
There's 1 show made exactly in the 2010s and ends in 2013. And I'll be very disappointed if that show doesn't win, and as you can see I'm willing to list every single decent and good show I know made in the 2010s. I won't be disappointed if everyone loses against that 1 show. By the way do animation specials count?
Not supporting this, just letting you know that somebody already posted this in this thread.
Ethan Lewis
Symbionic Titan. Genddy is good (not amazing) when it comes to monster of the week and violence, high stakes, but he's downright autistic at compelling characters and not falling for the high school and love interest meme.
>109413284 You are not getting a (You) from me, good sir.
No, that was another person.
Arguably, it was clear that guy wasn't really ok with doing the tournament with how things were evolving by round 3, but it was also clear someone should have stopped him before things got worse. Also I'll probably do the tournament if things go smooth with this one, sorry Boco ot whoever wanted to host it, but it's just business.
Still. DC Super Girls is a vast improvement over S1 of MLP simply because Super Girls is action show, meanwhile S1 was a charming smart slice of life show like the Weekenders or Tangled if Tangled wasn't an adventure show.
Meanwhile S2-S9 are a beast just as bad as Star Vs, Adventure Time and Steven Universe - the trinity of shit.
Robert Brown
The Sonic Boom cartoon which had nothing to do with the video game.
Shit was pure Kino and the human characters weren’t useless.

(support 10x) (great creativity, but Hater as the main would had been better) (oh thank god somebody posted this) (yes, felt like adventure time but with actual adventure) Support Motorcity, Tron Uprising, Penn Zero Part Time Hero, Stretch Armstrong and Justice League Action.
Wait... what about Earth's Mightiest, Young Justice, Ultimate Spiderman, Spiderman Web Warriors Also do we separate Trollhunters into 3 series or keep them together like Wakfu and Dofus?
Jason Green
Damn... Wolverine and X-Men aired in 2009. Do we have any other X-Men shows which aired in the 2010s?
Connor Lee
double check the date to make sure I'm not wrong, realise Spectacular Spiderman is over 10 years old now.
If Tangled were more slice of life, I'd be supporting it. Don't like the more dramatic side but it's a damn nice show. I was wondering if anyone nominated DC Super Hero Girls 2019, too.
I fell back on Generator Rex's 3rd season while Legend of Korra disappointed me. Truly a great show and it's always good to see slice of life action episodes with good animation. Shows like Peabody, Dan Vs and Dalmatian Street are held back severely for their lack of animation.
Alexander Gray
Agreed
Ethan Johnson
Oh supporting this. It's part of the long list of disappointing reboots like Korra and Samurai Jack.
Matthew Bell
The Dragon Prince Still better than the Legend of Korra.
>SU >Part of a trinity of shit (ok, it has some really bad episodes, but the series overall has gone better) >Actually comparing it to Waifus vs The Forced Shit and AT post Season 4 (which went worse and worse as time passed and you can't deny that) So, really, the third contender for that would be either Korra.
Nominating OK K.O.! Supporting Supporting but I doubt it would be allowed A lot of the late nominees are having a hard time getting support so remember to pay attention to the later posts in the thread and reply if you like the show.
Kulipari An Army of Frogs and Kulipari Dreamwalkers
>A lot of the late nominees are having a hard time getting support so remember to pay attention to the later posts in the thread and reply if you like the show. (You)'s is a really bad way to vote things and votes based on popularity again are a bad way to rate things and base a tournament off of.
This isn't how we're voting on the actual tournament or even how we're picking seeds/the final list of shows, it's just for early nominations to filter out weaker stuff Also support
Angel Gonzalez
We might as well put the scooby doo movies as 1 cartoon show. It's an entire series of specials and they have been consistently good throughout the 2010s. Excellent animation and fun satisfying writing.
It was a fresh of breath air but then it extended its welcome too much. It's everything wrong with Gumball and shows with more than 5 characters. Dalmatian Street is a much superior show.
DUCKTALES REBOOT The Star Wars CARTOONS Golan the Insatiable Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty UNIKITTY MAX STEEL VILLAINOUS God, there's too many to list.
CN and Nick should really be hanged by the gallows for denying us these many cartoons. Good thing we have the internet to watch cartoons and don't have to rely on TV, right guys? RIGHT?
BITCH, WHAT PART OF TOO MANY TO LIST, DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND? We are way in over our heads with this thread. 70% of the shows posted here aren't even heard of by Yea Forums despite all of them airing in the 2010s.
Luis Reyes
We'll get to 64, but obscurity will be the death blow to many of the deserving cartoons on this list. Some during nominations, some during voting
Just for clarity, it appears mods removed the nomination of Horse Show. Don't know if they'd allow it in
Cameron Myers
No, that's just all the shows I personally nominated in this thread. Things would be much smoother if we simply made a gigantic poll of cartoons and voted them from there. Sadly that would also show how Yea Forums doesn't watch cartoons.
Cameron Rogers

It’s one of the most popular fucking cartoon from the 2010s. So popular it needed its own containment board. It has every right to be in.
Logan Perry
Horse Show really needs to be separated into 2 cartoons. Kinda like how Rick n Morty, Thundercats and Samurai Jack need to have all their good episodes separated from the bad ones.
Carson Jones
Nominating Chuck’s Choice, just so I have an excuse to post Misha
Samurai Jack seasons 1-4 and S5 episodes 1-3, after that it's just Ashi bitching and wasting time. Fuck her for ruining episode 4. Thundercats the premiere episodes, after that it's just Lion-O getting shat on for no good reason because the writers are bullies. Rick n Morty is like 10-33% seasons 1-8 of The Simpsons and South Park and 66-90% of seasons 15-20+ of South Park and The Simpsons. I haven't seen a more bipolar show than Rick n Morty, from excellent episodes to downright awful ones. It makes Disenchantment look good and consistent.

All of this has my support, because they also deserve to be added. Also plenty of shows here already are pretty much guaranteed to get in, we need some help for the underdogs though.
Barney's popularity does not make it good, you fucking jizzbrain, especially when its popularity is mainly boosted by retards and other subhumans with no taste. Might as well nominate Paw Patrol and Bubble Guppies since you've just literally confirmed your lack of standards.
Literally 90% of the cartoons posted here are for children. Also, not even a fan, but horse show is incredibly significant, as it’s one of the first kids shows to have such a large adult fandom, pre dating Steven universe and gravity falls
>as it’s one of the first kids shows to have such a large adult fandom You're using a really loose definition of adult there. I don't consider aspies that can't function in society without their pretty pink pony toys adults.
Robert Turner
That show had "Everybody but the main character is worth their salt" syndrome. Kinda felt like Naruto except every character BUT Naruto was competent.
Supporting Generator Rex, Unikitty, Fangbone, Atomic Puppet, Penn Zero, Tron Uprising, Poet Anderson, Beware the Batman, MLP FIM, Villainous, Mao Mao, Scooby Doo movies, Slug Terra,Devilman, Castlevania, Dalmatian Street, Bunnicula, GI Joe Renegades, Symbionic Titan and that's all.
Jayden Hall
>it’s one of the first kids shows to have such a large adult fandom You're fucking stupid. Why are bronies so fucking stupid
Jeremiah Nguyen
>as it’s one of the first kids shows to have such a large adult fandom Holy shit, that is fucking historical revisionism at its finest. Adventure Time came out earlier that year, and also had quite the fanbase as well. Earlier than that, you had Spongebob with their innuendos, Animaniacs with its cultural references, and then even before THAT, you had Sesame Street using pop culture references as a reason to get parents to watch the show with their children. Stop thinking you're so fucking special. Everything you try to say your fucking blight on society has done, a better show before it already did.
Logan Cooper
Supporting Avengers and Young Justice...
Uhh is anyone going to nominate any of the Spiderman cartoons?

I haven't even seen most of those shows, I was just pushing a few that were close to qualification closer.
Jaxson Gomez
...I'm joking you idjit. The real issue was that you guys should have gone from day 1 to ask for poll results, which funny enough didn't happen through Mrs. Yea Forums as well.
Parker Carter
So we'll get one or two more nomination threads after this right? We're already halfway to the bump limit. Also are shows that didn't make the cut in this thread allowed to be nominated again in future threads?
Colton Johnson
I think you just might have to let those shows in just to fill out the rest of the nominees.
Charles Gonzalez
Yes, there will be more threads, and yes, shows from this thread can be renominated. However, they need to hit five replies in a single thread to qualify. Sorry, I can't keep track of every single show and how many replies it gets in every thread.
Robert Martin
Supporting Despite how much I despise the ending for how big the show was and how much I used to enjoy it it deserves to be in contention.

Was that ever figured out? It seemed like somebody volunteered to replace the guy in charge of Mr. Yea Forums and assumed he was also taking over Ms. Yea Forums as well even though somebody else runs it.
Aiden Flores
Yes. Samurai Jack beat Teen Titans in the final 2
Sebastian Gonzalez
Damn how did we forget Big Hero 6? Actually this thread is missing a lot of shows which have actually been talked about on Yea Forums a lot.
desuarchive.org/co/thread/103210916/ Here's the last Ms. Yea Forums thread, you can work your way backwards through the OP links. Or you can just open this image to see how it ended.
I'm honestly surprised Peridot went down in the first round. She seems like the most waifued SU character on Yea Forums. Star isn't going to do anywhere near as well as she did last year after that finale. I'm predicting Anne to take it this year with all the momentum she's had lately.
Honestly guys I don't see the point in tournaments. There's no way to judge which waifu/husbando/cartoon show is better because we don't have any serious critics.
Carson Jenkins
Ooh, support.
Bentley Torres
Nominating Twelve Forever. For Reggie represents the citizens of Yea Forums best.
I think it's all in good fun, whether we will have one every year is up for debate but I will enjoy this year's tournaments, if all goes well.
Benjamin Hernandez
IIRC the person who made the brackets will be taking over Mr Yea Forums. They were 100% different then the Mr. Yea Forums person last year Suppose the Ms. Yea Forums user running this will run that one too, pending they actually remain creditable. Don't think they ever had any interest in mr Yea Forums and they were clearly a different user then mr Yea Forums user. We'll get there when we get there
This is what Inside Jimmy's Head should had been. The animated characters should had interacted with the rest of the world, not just been inside someone's head.
Dylan Flores
There better be more threads. If Camp Camp or Nomad of Nowhere doesn't make it in, I'll bite your head off.
How in the flying FUCK? I still feel like I'm just getting back into posting again after my posting/image saving hiatus before kill la kill first aired. I still have april fools threads from last year still open because I didn't even get a chance to really be here anymore. Thanks session manager for maintaining my autism
I really don't think it should count considering it's just the final season to a show from the 2000s. Including it would be unfair and I'm saying this as a huge fan of Samurai Jack.
Alexander Powell
Complete misrepresentation of the facts. It’s clearly a stylistic, structural and budgetary evolution of the original series that is seasonal in name only.
Evan Thomas
I'm surprised Out There isn't mentioned here for nomination.
How? It's literally the same characters and same continuity. It was treated like the finale to the show. Just because it's changed since the original doesn't mean it's a different Samurai Jack.
Tyler Cruz
Is this just on hiatus? I remember it still being on TV up until mid last year. Then again I didn't even know Clarence and UG were ended up until a few months ago in February
Robert Bennett
Christ this show was good. It's when I took like 6-8 month break from Yea Forums in general so it was surreal at the time. Everything seemed to move at a snails pace.
Evan Johnson
If it was named something else it would be considered a sequel no question. The name “Season 5” is a gimmick. >timeskip >plot driven >non episodic >more advanced direction >new production standards
It’s its own thing. Deal with it.
Julian Bailey

David Hughes

Isaac Peterson
It doesn't matter how much you think it's different. Shows go through changes between seasons all the time. Just look at the changes in style for shows like Jake Long and Johnny Test. As different as they are from the rest of the show it is still classified as a season of the show. End of story.
Jordan Green
Like theme song? Musical numbers? Background music?
Liam Howard
How should I know?
Jaxon Howard
Oh god don't remind me of that. It was a tournament that Mr. Yea Forums's host was considering hosting before he stepped down so I thought I'd try to make into a thing. Got almost no participants and made a fool out of myself. Now I've learned to just participate in these things and leave the work to someone else. If someone else would like to try to salvage it feel free to.
Hunter Fisher
When I was running it it was originally supposed to be multiple brackets separated by the type of song with the winners of each going to the semi finals. The whole thing fell apart though.

Korra and Ultimate Alien are different shows from the original. They aren't considered new seasons of the series they are sequels to. Samurai Jack's 5th season was made to be a continuation of the series that finally gave it a conclusion. The episode numbers are what they would be as the next season with the show +50 to reference the passing of time. It is a season and not a show in it's own right.
