Should Cape have it's own board

I'm generally curious what the general feelings on this is. I feel like Superhero stuff has reached a point where it could branch off on Yea Forums.

I mean here's the reality: there's not enough content for comics to have its own board without capes.

Splitting comics and cartoons is a slightly better choice, but even then this isn't a fast pace board splitting the two will surely splinter things even more and comics and cartoons often intersect.

A true split hasn't been tried on any board with any topic yet. Retro games can still be talked about on Yea Forums and generals can still be made on there as long as they aren't specifically called generals. The pony deal is more containment from the entire website than any specific board.

At this point capeshit isn't just a subgenre of comics and cartoons or television and film. It is it's own entire topic that right now is taking up two boards. A real genuine board made to entirely split off cape stuff from Yea Forums and Yea Forums would be different. If proper moderation were involved all 3 boards could thrive separately and actually discuss their topic instead of being flooded with superheroes 24/7.

Each topic has more than enough content to sustain its own board. Even if that wasn't the case, it shouldn't matter. There are boards dedicated to topics that are beyond niche and have months in between posts in a single thread. Trying a split is not an issue at all, the only issue is that the owner of the site doesn't want to do it.

/hr/ pretty much is the celebrity board. I think a lot people are just too scared to post there. Unless you mean e-celebrities then yeah there isn't really a board that focuses too heavily on that besides this place sometimes and Yea Forums.
