Remember thinking jessica might come back periodically to be on occasional love interest of bart's. When the episode was new. She's the most important because she was the first. That's what happens when you hire high priced celebrities to do voices.

I could never understand the thought process behind using celebrities you'll never be able to get back to voice characters while Bob's Burgers uses primarily comedians who are friends of the writers and whom they can get back whenever they want.

It was so they could run "Meryl Streep Guest Stars!" on their advertising. Then they got lazy with it and all the celebrities started just playing themselves, and guest appearances just became commercials.

Why would any artist make fannart of an obscure character almost no one will remember? Bart never had a consistent love interest, all were one episode moments that are only mentioned shortly 1-2 seasons later and forgotten again.
