This is true for their combat training and other knowledge, but the rest doesn't make sense or else they would all act completely the same.
Zim was considered to be defective because of his chaotic personality, something that his PAK couldn't have given him unless it was defective itself. So this indicates that the irkens still have some individuality; the PAK merely copies it and stores it in case of bodily harm/destruction.

For the proposed ending of Invader Zim, Dib would've repaired Tak's ship and there would've been an entire season of him and Zim chasing eachother throughout the galaxy.

In the TV movie Invader Dib, Invader Tenn would have been kidnapped by the Meekrob and The Resisty, and an all-out war would happen between the Meekrob and the Irkens. Dib pairs up with Tak and became ambassador to the Meekrob, and the final showdown happened between him and Zim.

It is not known who would've been victorious; some say Dib won and launched Zim into an asteroid, while others say Zim won, became the Almighty Tallest, conquered Earth/the universe, and banished Dib and Tak to the rings of Saturn (or Jupiter). One version of this story I heard is that Zim initially lags behind Dib in the final showdown, but gets a pep talk from a shadowy figure who turns out to be Gaz, and manages to win the fight and makes her his queen (but this might be fanfic shipper bullshit), all while GIR and Minimoose watch this news on TV.

I thought it was alright but you guys thinking this has nothing wrong with it are crazy. There are a bunch of scene where the animation looks low quality. The mouth animation was bad throughout the movie. There were a handful of scenes that genuinely look great and its a shame the entire movie could be at that level.
Reasing through the other threads ive noticed anytime someone criticise the movie in anyway you all rape him with "you're just blinded by nostalgia" and other crap like that. No one wants the movie to be bad but there where genuine things that stuck out, like the first scene with the tallest looked like johnny test could rival it in terms of animation quality. Things like that.
The voices were great except zims show performance was 10x better than the movies which I can imagine his VA is getting older and its hard on your voice to a character like zim.
All in all it was a 5.5-6.5/10. It wasnt bad but it deffinetly needed a bigger budget.

Yeah, I know you are going to nitpick a couple things I probably forgot from the original series like Keef's eyes getting ripped out in silhouette, and probably some others. But if you listened to the commentary Jhonen and staff laugh it off and completely point out that they were utterly shocked Nick let them get away with many of the egregious violent examples.

Does anyone else feel like this was the best thing to come out of the series so far? I grew up with the original show on TV but I never liked it that much. I loved this movie though. As a finale/conclusion to the series, eh it was okay but they probably could have at least let Dib get a tiny victory in his father acknowledging that he was right all along instead of calling him crazy anyways at the end. But if this leads into a reboot of the show, then I can understand why they kept the status quo as Membrane supporting Dib would make it lopsided.

I think Jhonen's writing has changed for the better. It may miss the few moments that came together just right from the extremely cynical tone, but it's all far more consistent in quality and clear with its intent. People forget how many episodes tried too hard and just weren't funny.

What's wrong with wanting an Invader Zim finale? Not everyone wants show revivals. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind more current-year Zim, but I can imagine a Zim finale featuring full-scale invasions, etc. Enter the Florpus gave us some of that, but was very non-committal about everything. And all in the interest of keeping the status quo in case a revival happens, which isn't guaranteed. Either this special leads into a new Zim era, or it's just a half-decent ending.
