Hidden Gems
Hidden Gems
Honestly, I'd call this Starlin's best work.
What's it about?
Also, unrelated to the topic, I've bookmarked some large repositories of comics.

OP, can you explain why pic related is a hidden gem? Looking at the description it sounds like generic edgelord trash:
>In a dark, oppressive future, pig-men work tirelessly feeding a society they cannot fathom as slaves of human masters. When Oink realizes that the dogma being forced on them is all lies, he undertakes a path of revenge and revelation.
Might be somewhat edge-worthy, but I like it.
Transmet isn't a "hidden gem", it's widely popular.
>hidden
Transmetropolitan is extremely popular.
True. Also the pacing is pretty hamfisted. The sequel, Blood and Circus is better.
It's an epic story of a man who had everything and lost it. A wise fool, and a grand friend.
Really, it's just the story of Gilgamsh but retold in futuristic setting and streamlined.
Well shit. I don't socialize in the least.
This
Volume 3 is amazing
Seems alright, never read the Epic of Gilgamesh
There was a storytime 2 or 3 years ago.
It was 10/10. I'd kill for a trade.

You have my attention.
>When bloodthirsty monsters invade Pinocchio's hometown and kill his father Geppetto, Pinocchio discovers a new benefit to his magical nose: telling lies produces a never-ending supply of wooden stakes to combat the vampire hordes! Will Pinocchio be able to defeat these horrors, avenge his father, and save his friends?
I expected nothing and was still disappointed
This came and went without much fanfare, but I really liked it. I don't understand the ending, but it was some quality cray shit.
