Why, I do believe it's time for Silver Age comics!

Why, I do believe it's time for Silver Age comics!

But enough about me, what've you got planned for the weekend?

It's a Marvel day today, so expect plenty of Ditko and Kirby.

They fold up into disks when stored and when he takes them out they pop into the form you see here.

AGAIN with a criminal getting out jail unrealistically fast. What was it with Stan Lee and super short prison sentences?

>'Green Goblin raids rackets'

Someone should go with this angle in a reboot, make him a villain with good publicity.

Also, due to the art on the page, you may be overestimating the size, you might be led to believe the grenades are the size of actual pumpkins, but it's only because they're "closer" to you, the reader.

>12 cents

>Green Goblin says that he knows just what to do
>Next panel has Norman Osborn in the same room as Jameson
Yup, it's clear that Ditko had this planned.

>low production costs
>inflation
>writers and artists can (sort of) get the rates they want now
Take your pick.

I love old comic ads, they are so telling of their time. Like, we were just coming off of World War 2 and many men had to take jobs while their fathers got drafted like working at Shipyards or factories. So they never got the chance to finish high school, and after World War 2, with the baby boom and all that, men were looking for steady, safe jobs to raise a family on. Many of which only accepted people with high school diplomas.

Gobby's too lazy to just form his own gang.

Thanks OP

My weekend is Sunday and Wednesday. Friday and Saturday are my job's big dick energy days.

What field?

I'm PRETTY sure that anyone would remember meeting Captain America. Especially since later stories established that Cap and the Howling Commandoes worked together countless times.

I guess this is the best Stan Lee could do to explain away the mess Don Heck made by drawing super-villains still wearing their costumes in jail and the Melter clearly still having his melting weapon.
