Was it really that problematic?

That flag should be Israeli

Peggy actually based for once.

When youre talking about ww2 yes, to say the lives lost were in vain is dismissive of some men's entire young lives and the brothers in arms they lost. People were signing up like crazy even before the draft for a bunch of reasons. Plenty of people willingly died for that war machine because they honestly felt their lives were worth it.

Should have done something that more people could agree with like Nam or Iraq.

Anybody that says WW2 was "futile" is fucking stupid as shit.

The Jews won that war, not the USA.

The Jews didn't really matter besides being some justification to ignore some political stuff and go in guns blazing after we entered the war. The bigger fear was what would occur if Germany established an empire and Japan conquered mainland China.

Oh really, the instigator of the war got what they wanted?

To Republicans maybe.

>axis powers start a war that they were all but doomed to lose from the start
>burgers insist that this was some fate-of-the-world struggle where failure meant everything would look like Wolfenstein new collosus

2/3 of US service personnel in WW2 were drafted

its a bit sad to think that they werent around for /pol/ to know that they were fighting for the wrong side

Just because you have a cartoonishly narrow frame of reference doesn't mean everyone else thinks that way.

>Japanese bomb Pearl Harbor
>America fights back and defeats an Imperialist power for good
B-b-but war solves nothing, right?

skeletons were still considered second class soldiers at the time.

poor sods.

Pretty weird referring to yourself in the second person.

Sick skeleton army advertisement and flag bro.

WWII solidified the USA as a global superpower and the cultural base for pretty much the entire western emisphere (which ironically goes to show how retarded Hitler was, but that's a different can of worms.)

Someone running into oncoming traffic and getting hit by a car doesn't make them any less stupid because they believed it was for a good cause

Imperialism isn’t bad

*solidified Wall Street kikes that would obliterate any value in America

Japan would have lost the war pretty soon anyway, launching two nuclear bombs was comoeltely unnecessary.

The nuclear bombs were not to defeat Japan, they were to send a message to the USSR and Europe to not fuck with the USA after the war. Which didn't work, and to this day we're on the verge of a nuclear war between the USA, Russia and some irrelevant countries.

Japan couldn't even defeat China when it was just a bunch of warlords and some communists hiding in the mountains

>he can't be jewish so he resorts to antisemitism online
Pathetic.

Yes, you are

>he can't be jewish
thank you based god

In the long term, yes, everything is futile. In the short term, things can have impact and meaning.

user, the Germans managed to conquer allof Europe. It isn't completely certain if the Soviets could have defeated them without lend lease and all and even if they did, without the US all of Europe would have been communist.

>doomed to fail
>litteraly stood like 10 meters before moscow
>get driven out by 230IQ tank general that stalin forgot to kill

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE

>10 meters before moscow
>expecting the soviet union to capitulate
That means jack shit if you're facing a united and nationalistic Russia/Soviet Union. Napoleon took Moscow, but the Russians didn't give a shit. They even abandoned and burned the fucking city to give Napoleon the big finger.

Do you think if Japan conquered mainland China, we'd be in a better place ecologically?

kys europoornited statian niggers

for the time period yeah, in 50 years when ww2 is a far far distant memory nobody will bat an eye

well yeah, where are the black and LGBTQ skellies?

Pearl Harbor was a false flag.

A Veterans Parade is not the proper time or place for an anti-war protest float, so yes it was.

Presenting it during a parade meant to honor the actual people who fought said war was really the only issue.

Time and a place for everything

You're totally right, Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan weren't worth opposing. The USA could only benefit from being the third superpower after Germania and Nippon Dai-Koku.

well that and their trade routes

Underrated post.

>Taking Moscow means the Russians will surrender
Oh, that's fucking cute.

Yes given what the parade was for
