They're glass cannons. Jiren gets hurt twice from Android 17 because Jiren can't sense 17 because there's no ki to sense. So 17 blasts him twice, singing his back and later on bringing him to his knees. Goku could only do that to Jiren after mastering UI.

If a God of Destruction fights another God of Destruction even using half their power, they will atomize everything around them until the resident universe is dead. Even during the Z era, anyone that at least possess the power of a SSJ3 were capable of tearing a hold in spacetime. By Super era, a few of the main cast are several times more powerful than that.

GoDs or GoD-tier characters in general are universe busters. And considering Jiren was stated to vastly surpass a GoD he's already universe buster without even going full power.

They're not invulnerable. In fact Goku's tendency to drop his guard was a big thing of RoF. Goku's been hurt by a rock when he was ssj and sleeping, and he got hurt by a random crook shooting him with a normal bullet. Superman just jobs in Batman comics, might as well cover the whistle.

Jiren, going full power knocked down a form with auto dodge and aim assist and had to get a friendship power boost to knock him down. And even then Jiren was still left standing and tangled with Golden Freeza and 17 right after fighting MUI. Jiren is above GoD tier

He is stronger than Beerus and Belmod

It's not non canon just not canon to the show, like how cartoon superman and comic superman aren't canon to each other but still have their own canon.
