This might have been the very first life Devil Hulk actually claimed, since there's no way he survived all this.

Some extra stuff! Alternate versions of the famous page spreads. Interesting how the first one looks straight at the reader but less mean than the final version.

This is Bennett & Ewing going full Bendis. Funny to think this is how it looked like before the changes.

Some of the ideas that presumably were used for the pitch.
>"We need a thought process analogous to Alan Moore on Swamp Thing."
And there's STILL people who think they didn't have Swamp Thing as an inspiration while crafting this series.

>Banner slow clapping
This is prime copypasta material, not gonna lie.

And a bunch of blurbs praising the series.
That's it for now, I'm guessing next issues will have full scripts so we can look forward to that.

Gonna do Fantastic Four #13 next, since it also features the Immortal Hulk (controlled by the Puppet Master). I see everyone is at the Gwenpool and PoX threads though...

This will be my final post on Yea Forums.

How can anyone think that this is scary for real ? How can anyone take seriously a horror book with the Hulk as a supposed to be frightening monster ? How can anyone see the Hulk as frightening for real in this book ?
"Ouh, the Hulk is smiling, so unsetlling, this is so scary guys..." why are you lying to yourself like that ?
You guys are just forcing onto yourself the new fade there will be in this hivemind of a board, with the blandest, tamest, most classicly safe comic book there can be, while your selective outrage is shitting on Bendis' Superman for things that would be praised if they were written by someone else, but NOOOOOOOOOOOO you have to shit on it even if it's good because the hivemind dictates you to do so !!!

No wonder you can't get laid, but guess what ? I got a girlfriend now. For the first time of my life after 24 years I finally got a girlfriend, and all that nerd fuss has become so irritating since.
I'm just leaving for good now, I had plenty of fun with that board but I'm done. I wish you to get girlfriends to, maybe it will open your eyes about the hivemind that is destructing your self, but sadly, the hivemind is probably keeping you away from being able to seduce anyone, so you're most likely trapped in a vicious circle, and sadly, there is no Savage Dragon to save you from it. I just hope that this message will maybe help you to think by yourself a bit more and to get a girlfriend to.

Enjoy your book.

Ah, memories...

Fantastic Four #13 here: We need to track the very first iteration of this in the archives.

Did anyone find out who this guy was? I'm always wondering whether the people writing copypastas are trolls or autists.

Ehhh....I don't have these first issues, but I don't think I'm gonna pick up this version especially not for 6 bucks. All the extra stuff seems like things you can incentivize a potential omnibus with.

I am 99% sure the first iteration of it waa the very first storytime

We started doing the Australian version much later of course

fuck you, copypasta is an art form and a good copypasta can elicit laughs years down the road.
Arnold posting from Yea Forums, sasuke posting from Yea Forums or the navy seal post from Yea Forums and now hulk posting from Yea Forums

you beat me to it, you bastard.

Hulk? More like Hurk

You're right, it was. Just found the very first thread: desuarchive.org/co/thread/100951124
It's also fun to look back at the reactions to the first issue and the speculation.

>this is the worst hulk comic in history
>the entire thing is nothing more than blatant political propaganda
This only because of the gun lobby and lack of proper registers on purpose in the first issue. Oh boy!

So puny humans were getting triggered from the start? Nice.

Have director's cut editions ever been noticeably different from the original versions?
I always skim them and go "looks like the original don't wanna read this twice I've got things to do".

This one doesn't have his script, and likely the next one won't either. Other "director's cut" editions have included it, but this wasn't.
And looks like Ewing is glad it isn't: twitter.com/Al_Ewing/status/1161611032592338944, maybe he doesn't like people seeing his internal thoughts too much. I remember reading Slott's script and being unimpressed, he keeps things very sparse, which I guess is later fixed after the first art arrives. Hickman, on the other hand, is very methodical and detailed, describing a lot in the scenes.
I know the Silver Surfer Black script is out there but haven't read it.

What were these notes added and not Ewing's script?

This page started the pasta, such a sweet butthurt.

Best pages, yes, I made them my wallpaper since the first storytime

I love this page

What do these Director's Cut issues mean? I've been seeing them a lot when catching up on various series.

Special reprints with bonus content about the issue itself, like the pages inks.

Mullet Hulk

i'm liking devil hulk, more and more

Attached: devil hulk.jpg (1808x1752, 767K)

Cool issue, would have liked to see some Ewing thoughts tho

I appreciate that.

Gotta love how these small dick Hulk writers spend decades trying to emasculate Thor and God like beings with constant guest appearances just to shit on them, Hulk's book must have a record of guests!
Now ever since Pak's planet Hulk they want to push this angle that Hulk is some kind of...God!
Lmao this shit is so fucking bad, so creatively bankrupt!

B-But he beats everyone on his book, he dies and gets ragdolled by nobodies, but he comes back and beats all the guests in the book, so it's good!!!

We live in a world where the most ambitious deconstruction of the psyche of a superhero in the style of Miller or Moore, combined with the epic jaunt of Morrison or Claremont is outsold by a crappy gimmick title where every issue you just have the stupid green man smile ominously and zoomers going "oh that's so fucking scary he's about to do something TERRIBLE I'm literally SHAKING rn lol" and it's just not okay
When did we lower our standards like this? When did we abandon all that was good and turn to lowest common denominator schlock? Tom King's Batman run was going to change everything. But you... you chose Hulk. You chose angry green man with his wicked nihilist smile.
It didn't have to be this way! Tom King served his country in the CIA, doing literal Mission Impossible shit in Agrabah, and what was Al Ewing doing then? Playing with his dick and fantasizing about red bird women.
I'm sorry. I'm just... just so tired.

Thanks, OP

they update the dialogue

Attached: Q0s1G06.png (517x419, 400K)

Huh, so they did. Ewing must've read the complaints from issue #1.

Attached: file.png (389x308, 170K)

My liege, have you finally tired of your girlfriend and Savage Dragon to grace us with a new pasta for the new age

Exactly but I'm always wondering if it's just some user who's spent hours trying to ascend to pastahood or just some random fuck who forgot to take his meds today.

I did a few months ago and was sad to find out I was about 10 days too late to celebrate the 1 year anniversary.

Honestly, "dug the bullets out" makes it sound even more difficult to deal with.

I prove of this change.

Did they change anything else?

Feels weird to see them mess with a published work like that, but I guess that's what a director's cut is.

That pasta started appearing some time after sales figures started showing IH ahead of King's Batman.

The fix errors in later publications all the time, they do it in the collections too.
