Nelvana all the way. DESU, the perfect animators for Tintin are Studio Ghibili, the fine and flat colors, the anatomically accurate but comedic forms

i love herge's backgrounds

fuck i didnt mean "desu" i meant "But"

Anybody want HP Lovecraftian Tintin?

Legit surprised we still haven't gotten another movie.

This is how id start the next film:

Tintin and the Prisoners of the Sun (2022):
Party at the end of Red Rackham's Treasure introduces Calculus; people are skeptical of Calculus despite him being the one who ensured they get the treasure of the unicorn.
The treasure suddenly dissapears while news about the treasure's origins are rumored to be from the Incas, who both go on an adventure after explorers in Peru fall ill.
Calculus goes missing (Seven Crystal Balls) and Tintin and Haddock go to rescue him (Prisoners of the Sun)
The Inca give them part of the treasure which later goes on to fund the missions to the moon.

Tintin To The Moon (2026):
Back to back retelling of The Calculus Affair and Destination Moon and Explorers on the Moon

Calculus gets kidnapped once more after his equipment is stolen, he is traced by Tintin and Haddock in Slydavia to the secret moon base. His secret sound weapons are part of the rockets used to launch them to the Moon. Despite a conspiracy, they make it to the moon and end up as the first men on the moon. Several hints tease the aliens that will be seen in a possible follow up about Flight 714 to Sydney.

The original version showed a copy of Tintin in America, but for some reason the re-drawn version showed an album that chronologically took place after this story. Weird.

Simply a case of the producers not aligning their schedules.
