>Marvel is launching a new ongoing title for the Venom offspring Scream - but the identity of the symbiote's host is a mystery. In Scream: Curse of Carnage launching this November, writer Clay McCleod Chapman and artist Chris Mooneyham are spinning off the Scream symbiote from the current Absolute Carnage and Scream tie-in books.

The original and possibly strongest offspring of the Venom symbiote at last stars in her own self-titled ongoing series set in the Marvel Universe," announced Marvel's Tucker Markus on Pull List. "But after the events of Absolute Carnage, who is the Scream symbiote bonded to? What are their intentions? And what will a pair of web-slinging wall-crawlers, Venom and Spider-Man... what will they have to say about their presence in New York?"

Carnage is not technically spawn. He's sort of an illegitimate birth by way of isolating a small part of Venom and it going insane.

On the one had, more symbiotes is never bad in my book. On the other 10 to 1 it is Andi and this is just going to renew the status quo of having a symbiote with the hell mark which was her original plot hook. If you are going to revert a character back to before a two month old story what was the point of her being in the story at all?

Andi is in the Absolute Carnage: Scream mini written by Bunn. Andi is Scream's target. So either Bunn is going to kill off Andi in this tie-in event, or he's going to put her in the Scream suit by November.
