Doable is not the same as looks good. Cause there's a lot of shit you can draw people doing in motion that you cannot hold or possibly actually accomplish at all but it still works in art.

The small nose is a legitimate complaint of mine, but this guy seems genuinely disgusted by the Manara piece, which I find unbelievable. I feel he's just posturing and exaggerating for the camera. Manara has done better work in the past, but his Spider-Woman cover is hardly anything to get bent out of shape about, buttcrack aside.

The nature of these kind of videos is listening criticism from experts in the field of whatever they're criticizing. Their informed opinion is supposed to be more valuable but the understanding is that they're either supposed to be judging their craft done by non professionals or by hollywood who don't quite understand said craft. There's videos of lawyers reacting to court room scenes in movie and cyber security experts reacting to hackers in pop culture for example.

This video does the exact opposite. This isn't an informed opinion by an expert in his craft but needless nitpicking of good artists from an absolute amateur. And you can find that in spades here on Yea Forums

its one thing when some random nerd nitpicks a movie, cartoon, or whatever
but for an "illustrator" he doesn't put much thought into the production of comic book art, the perspective of the artists making the art, or even tries to look for positives.

maybe he's actually smart, all he's doing is confirming biases and being an "illustrator" gives nerds validation
