How accurate is pic related? Technically it is an official source

>iron man
>super heavyweight
The fuck?

Cap should be a medium weight

For two seconds.

>Iron man in super because he can overcharge for two seconds
> and yet power cosmic and master blow aren't taken in account for Black Bolt and surfer

It's accurate for the time, but the Silver Surfer's power levels always fluctuated.

Sort of accurate like any similar official chart. As in it's a close enough guess but powerlevel inconsistent as fuck as far as in-story feats go.

Is reading hard?

I'm old enough I remember kids making fun of this image when it was published.

That middle category is where it struggles, it must be defined as quite wide of a ranking to work. She-Hulk was probably in the 50 ton range at that time. Colossus, the same. Valkyrie was a 40-50 tonner. Giant-Man and Ghost Rider were only 5 tons. Power Man wasn't well-defined but near the bottom of this group is about right. Spidey was 10 tons at the time.

So its roughly:

Top: 95+ tons
Second: 60-90 tons
Third: 5-50 tons
Fourth: up to 2 tons
Fifth: peak human

By definition of "peak human ability" Cap does not has super-human strength

>official source
>clearly presented as Spider-Man's opinion
Come the fuck on why can't you people read

>Spider-man places the cut off for his tier right below him

The most important thing to read here is that little blurb that this was written by Mark Gruenwald. The man was *the* archivist and stat-keeper of Marvel for many years, this list was 100% accurate at the time of publication.

The only contention points are 1) how broad the middle tier had to be made to cover a wide range and 2) why list some at their boost-levels (Iron Man) and some at their base levels (Black Bolt, Silver Surfer).

Even if he's above human he's pretty low tier.

He makes Hulkbuster armor and can take a beating from Thanos and Thor so I can believe it.

Everytime Marvel posta official power rankings someone doesn't agree with it. Look at the ones they have in their website for example.

Captain America should be in the mediumweights category.
Also, kinda sad that guys like Colossus and Power Man, whose only power is strength and durability, still be outclassed even by characters that are not focused on pure strength in their powerset.

what did he mean by this??

its black bolt

Dunno about Power Man but Colossus is also ultra durable, and he's part of an ensemble team so of course he's weaker on his own

no text for you.

What captain America is capable of has fluctuated alot over the years.

A really strong soldier to SUPER HULK SOLDIER

Read comics

The fact that he has "peak human" abilities in ALL categories makes him inherently superhuman, because it's physically impossible to max out all those stats at the same time.

He is superhuman, he just doesn't have super-human strength/speed/staminia/whatever else's max out in, and thus is at the bottom of any powerlevelfagging

Is that Jesus?
