No you mong, who is she protecting? Her father is an extradimensional, reality warping demon, her mother is afk, and she was raised in nigh impossible to enter pocket dimension. She can't integrate into normal life perpetually as, insofar as her father merely exists, she is required to repress her emotions to a degree most would consider offputting. The only danger in knowing who she truly is lies in using her to bring out her father but that implies whomever does so gets enslaved like the rest of humanity. If anything, though, she would need to protect her identity FROM the villains

Even outside of the 2003 series, most of these facets of her personality still hold true. In Wolfman's run, her voice in incorporeal and she has visibly not human features; in post Johns runs, she was raised entirely in Azarath and doesn't know human customs and her very existence allows other magic users to target her. If she wants to protect her identity, Wolfmans solo run stipulates that she can erase memories at will. Even so, the most logical way to protect her identity would be to cast a spell or do some soul self bullshit to cover herself in shadows. That way, underneath the cloak, all that exists to anyome looking in would be darkness

Their blood is one and the same. I recall some iterations of Raven as having to mask her true form. In essence, she looks like a watered down version of him but utilizes magic or her half human heritage to dilute the absurdity. It makes no sense to consider the human side as more powerful, genetically, than the demon.

Which is probably why she looks human. Dr. Light probably saw her true form.
