Can we all just take a minute to appreciate what a stupid name this is for the book? Nobody had cat powers, the base didn't have a cat theme. The name itself didn't even jive with the concept of the book.

Maybe they work at an oil rig? Or live on an abandoned oil rig?

Once DC goes under, I wish you the best with your new book C.O.U.G.A.R.S
The name was decent in it's generic nature, but the truth was in how the "CAT" part was an acronym for "Covert Action Team"; per the fact that the entire Wildstorm Universe was built on Metal Gear level black ops cloak and dagger shit.
But they're heroes, not zeroes
Who was implying they were zeroes? Nobody. They're just insecure.
voodoo was a 17 year old stripper. that's where they found her. and she kept on using her stripper outfit to fight 'crime'.
Can we all just take a minute to appreciate what a stupid name Wolverine is for Wolverine? He didn't have wolverine powers or a wolverine theme. Wolverines don't even have retractable claws.
They were C.A.T.S COVERT ACTION TEAMS you simp

Here's the facts, they got power to the max, you know they're tough as nails.
delicious 17 yr old stripper. comics back then were awesome. fuck pc shit.
Pedos should be shot and left to rot in a ditch
They were a "Wild" (read: rogue) Covert Action Team.
You would know this if you read the book, because it tells you like, three times in the first issue.
unless the law changes. 17 legal in tx.
i remember being amp'ed for this cartoon for months. i loved jim lee's wild.c.a.t.s. then finally on sat it came on and it fucking sucked. holy shit, did it suck.
Yeah. And their all just a big clusterfuck of nonsense heroes tacked together.
The overall story was rather silly.
None of their costumes have any rhyme or reason other then they looked good at the time.
I like stormwatch more. It's a better shield+xmen then both shield and x-men.
Shit it was so good that Marvel ripped off a few of it's stories.
But I do have to admit.
The Wildcats cartoon had a kick ass OP.

This. Nothing wrong with the name. There would be if they were a bunch of cat people, it'd be cheesy.
whenever i saw it on it was always that shitty episode about Maul
I'm glad Ellis is keeping the dream alive
>no military experience
>Not a faggot
Silly name for a comic.
i loved the cyberforce/wild.c.a.t.s crossover. shit was tight. all that beautiful artwork by lee and silvestri.
fuck, i still remember an interview silvestri gave and the reporter asked what was he going to be doing in 10 years, and he replied 'watching the 4th or 5th cyberforce movie at the theater'.
He's just keeping the name alive. If there's anything Ellis' WS doesn't keep, and there's a lot of things, it's the dream.
forgot image.
It's not that bad. WS needed a hard reboot after World's End and the New 52
Did she ever strip on the stage?
nope. the 'kherbrum' or whatever bs alien showed up (or they were in the audience) to capture her.
