OP, I think Space Ghost work's better in DC, if only because he's more hopeful, but I don't think he'd make it in the League. His adventures are smaller-scale than those of the Big Seven.

Space Ghost is almost like a perfect mix of Superman and Batman. He's bright and hopeful, but objective and grounded.
And I almost forgot Batman actually met Space Ghost in The Brave and The Bold.
