Characters from other media that would make as great comic book villains?
Characters from other media that would make as great comic book villains?
To be honest King Crimson has better potential
Manga is comic
Yeah thats only cause King Crimson in part 5 sucked ass
Part 5>4
Josuke is a boring faggot that doesnt even kill his opponents. The whole part is a boring slice of life. Kira carried the story.
I just want my bossu back.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Crowds' version of Berg Katze would make an amazing X-Men villain.
And I’d agree. Except I don’t know who the fuck that is.
I'll never understand how the opponents don't die from what they go through though. Oh so-and-so can hit with the force of a meteor and do that nine times in a millisecond = character on the receiving end gets retired.
Part 5 sucked because it, like part 3, had good characters absolutely ruined by day after day villains with no plot or character significance.
Unlike Part 3, also had an utterly insignificant character
Kira is good enough to erase any reason for Part 4 being worse than Part 5
Eat shit
Most of part 5 opponents die.
Part 4 mc has healing powers so every punch also heals
>with no plot or character significance
The fights themselves are what they bring to the plot.
>why doesnt this 16 year old high school student murder people in his home town where his mother and grandfather/father figure cop live like that italian gangster who grew up with a mother who didnt love him
Oh, another Jojo thread....
>Josuke is a boring faggot that doesnt even kill his opponents
No, he does worse.
Wouldn't Kira be good for characters with more strange stylings? The Doom Patrol, the Question, Deadman, hell fucking Kamala would work
He IS the son of Joseph, after all.
Josuke actually had character while Giorno was just Jotaro 2.0 but with even less depth
Also like said Josuke has done worse than kill people on two occasions
In Gatchaman Crowds, Berg Katze is a renegade alien space cop (ex-Gatchaman) that uses his power of shapeshifting, invisibility and ability to draw out other people's superpowers to straight up destroy planets though social engineering, metahuman arms race and public manipulation. He vehemently believes everyone is, deep down, a savage beast and there's nothing he loves better than manufacturing chaos and watching people kill each-other in the midst of it.
Now imagine mixing all that with the already gullible, fearful and hateful general Marvel populace and their already somber view on mutantkind. The X-Men would have to not only expose Katze's manipulation, but also convince humanity their hatred of mutants was something that was exacerbated and manipulated by an invisible space alien.
In a world that hates and fear them, the X-Men fight for the good of humanity. That's like X-Men 101.
ok cool now explain how hardly anyone died after getting tenderized by Star Platinum in pt3
He only broke that one girl's teeth, so there's one. He did kill the orangutan IIRC, along with Steely Dan and the ship captain. Oingo BTFO himself without anyone knowing he did it,and Geb sudoku'd too. He did give a couple others a good beating, and the older Darby just went insane. God there were so many throwaway villains in part 3 I can't even remember them all.
Because Araki didnt want to kill everyone yet because JoJo hadn't gained enough popularity for the editors to allow him to get away with something like that in Shonen Jump
If you want to trim the fat you should keep Kakyion, Polnareff, N'Doul, N. Geil, his Mom, Steely Dan, Hol Horse, the Oingo Bros, based D'Arby the Elder, Vanilla Ice and DIO himself
>In a world that hates and fear them, the X-Men fight for the good of humanity. That's like X-Men 101.
Which is why there's already several dozen characters that are essentially exactly that already. Really nothing new or interesting about it.
Japanese comics are still comics
>Cutting Pet Shop.
>Keeping Steely Dan
>Pet Shop
Fuck, completely slipped my mind. Problem is that Iggy is a shit though.
>Steely Dan
I'm a sucker for villains who have no redeeming features and get completely BTFO, it's the same reason nobody complains about the Joker from BTAS
You all know this to be a fact. Kira is not merely the most memorable thing in part 4, he's the only thing memorable about it (except maybe the terrible Duwang translations)
