I follow both Hirsch and BrainDump (hotdiggettydemon) and find their politics to both be annoying sometimes (even though they're on opposite ends of the political spectrum) but I like their cartoons and jokes and enjoy watching them absolutely roast people sometimes. (I also enjoyed Hirsch's live stream with Rebecca Sugar for the Trevor project because I don't think trans rights should be seen as a political issue)

A small but very vocal group of sad neckbeards on Yea Forums have been atomically assblasted over Hirsch ever since he pranked Yea Forums by faking a leaked spoiler and then laughing about it after the fact.

Some people appreciated the move as being media savvy and moved on with their lives.

Others took it as an egregious insult to their secret club and have stayed mad ever since. They make weekly threads with the same batch of lame talking points even though the show has been over for years. "Hurr Hirsch is short. Huurr he's liberal. Huurrrr he's a jew." Yada yada. It's also been hinted that he's developing a movie as well, it is an "industry overall" deal which means they have him for multiple projects

It was originally supposed to be 3 seasons, but Hirsch got bored and cut it down to 2. This was Disney's most popular animated series, so they dragged that final season out as far as they could.
