Not the best, but definitely top 5

Without question. The most good comics, the most good movies, the most good videogames. His supporting cash, his city, his villains, they're all franchises unto themselves. You could do a comic about his hideout, the Batcave. You could even do a comic about his car, the Batmobile.

No other comic book character has as much meat around the bone. Not even close. Every writer wants to write Batman and has a story tucked away in a folder waiting for the day.

Caped crusader

He has the best villains

NO.

Really depends on who's writing him.

The best hero is your favorite hero.

Personally, Spider-Man is able to do both down-to-earth relatability and inspiring strength and idealism in an earnest manner that's organic with his character

depends on the writer. If we're going with the sheer amount of material then Batman takes it by a mile but if you're asking about character or "what it means to be a superhero" then current Batman isn't it. Shit, current Batman isn't even a hero anymore, you'd have to give it to supes' or Spider-man.

No. The best is The Green Hornet.

>green hornet
>not the shadow
One job user

Nah, best superhero is Hal Jordan

The best is Apama

I have to admit I’ve really never heard of The Shadow.

But from this brief glance I have no choice but to agree with you.

If you're about to discover The Shadow for the first time I'm jealous as fuck. You're in for a wild ride.

I in fact am about to do just that.

With the other 4 being?

Depends on who's writing him. Take a look at the current Batman run: I can't remember the last time Bruce actually saved people in that book. Instead of being a hero he punches his friends and family and lets the Joker get away with murder. Doesn't sound like a hero to me, let alone a superhero.

I think you could do the same thing for every character. The difference is with Batman it would sell out and be profitable at 5c.

In the Batman who laughs miniseries, Batman literally admits that he's the worst Batman in the multiverse.

I guess if we're talking the main Earth Batman, then no, he's not the best hero.

Yes, unless you're a mcuck

>The Shadow
>Not The Phantom
Get it together user

Spider-man, Superman, Wonder Woman.. Not sure about the last.

But this is, undoubtedly, the correct answer

Spider-man, Superman, wonder woman, and the Hulk

The Hulk is likely to be replaced by Iron Man in the next decade

I assume what we're referring to is the best reknowned/most popular heroes when we say "the best"

>The Phantom
>Not the Spirit
Silly fuck

Definitely.

>Every writer wants to write Batman
And DC calls Tom King to shit all over the franchise with a fucking boring arc lol

That’s not Hal Jordan, batfag

No.
He'sm objectively the worst superhero that is still being pushed.
If you even think about him for a few seconds you realize how fundamentally evil and fucked up he really really is.

Batman is 80 years old and no one was able to come close to him. I don't think they could and it's not due to the lack of trying because they tried to create a Spider-family at the scale of batfamily and they didn't success.

Because as I said Batman is insanely profitable.

They could easily do it and find a respectable number of people to purchase the issues, but because it can’t compete with Batman it gets shutdown, sometimes before it even starts.
