It was neat to see Rocko again, reminded me of what cartoon use to be. But I wish there was more to Rocko then "muh show"
The Ralph to Rachel completely unphased me, because of how much co fucking spammed it.
Wasn’t Ralph a self insert of the creator?
I've heard this float around, and while I'm not sure if it's true, it wouldn't have been the trans aspect of the character. I think the self-insert part is the disowned by the dad part.
I recall a commentary track where Joe sort of states that Ralph was more of a stand-in for the writing and animation crew in general. In the same commentary, Joe mentions how a lot of the writers had problems with their dads so it bled into the character.
I liked it for the most part, my only problem was that it feels they cramed too many references in a very short time which makes the pace feel too fast and a bit pandering ( though to be fair it was also a problem with the Hey Arnold special), that and Rocko felt a bit out of character ar times.
But the rest was great and I really liked the animation.
props to the latam dub for keeping a lot of the original voices and getting some really good sound a likes for the dead/retired actors
As someone who has never seen the original (because I wasn't born yet) I enjoyed it a lot. I found it funny and I liked the jokes. I liked the dichotomy of Rocko's and Mr. Bighead's take on both Rachel's transformation and the show. I don't really like gross out, but this special definitely got me interested in the original.
I loved it.
No me gusto como suena Gama como Rocko. Creo que no tiene el timbre indicado para reemplazar a Carlos Iñigu.
This, the actual stand in for Murray in the show was a biker gang leader in the episode Road Rash, i remember he said it in one of the episodes commentaries
Pozzed and bluepilled.
Here, user. This is how it should be.

I understand, it felt a bit forced at times but it was decent IMO, though the Ed Bighead guy sounded almost identical to the original at times.
Kinda surprised they got mr.Duppet and Dr.Hutchinson original VAs
I noticed he got better into the role mid-episode. I feel the early lines in the first half felt really forced, almost straining his voice.
I agree about Duppet and Hutch, but I with they could've gotten the original Ed back just for one last rodeo.
I love Rachel
Would've worked better as a fifteen minute short. It's basically the same two or three jokes stretched out for 40+ minutes.
I thought they nailed it. Wouldn't mind seeing a whole new season after this.
I keep hearing they referenced Camp Lazlo but I missed it somehow, where did they do it?
opening scene where it pans into the city lumpus is underneath one of the billboards, also when there looking for the rechel there's this scene where they ask a bunch of people water skiing and the back ground looks damn similar to camp kidney.
I hope I don't member it.
LOL TRANNIES
It's shit
OH LOOK ANOTHER FUCKING ROCKO THREAD...
pretty sure it's Camp Kidney, just a different group of boyscouts
