It was neat to see Rocko again, reminded me of what cartoon use to be. But I wish there was more to Rocko then "muh show"

The Ralph to Rachel completely unphased me, because of how much co fucking spammed it.

Wasn’t Ralph a self insert of the creator?

I've heard this float around, and while I'm not sure if it's true, it wouldn't have been the trans aspect of the character. I think the self-insert part is the disowned by the dad part.

I recall a commentary track where Joe sort of states that Ralph was more of a stand-in for the writing and animation crew in general. In the same commentary, Joe mentions how a lot of the writers had problems with their dads so it bled into the character.

I liked it for the most part, my only problem was that it feels they cramed too many references in a very short time which makes the pace feel too fast and a bit pandering ( though to be fair it was also a problem with the Hey Arnold special), that and Rocko felt a bit out of character ar times.
But the rest was great and I really liked the animation.
props to the latam dub for keeping a lot of the original voices and getting some really good sound a likes for the dead/retired actors

As someone who has never seen the original (because I wasn't born yet) I enjoyed it a lot. I found it funny and I liked the jokes. I liked the dichotomy of Rocko's and Mr. Bighead's take on both Rachel's transformation and the show. I don't really like gross out, but this special definitely got me interested in the original.

I loved it.

No me gusto como suena Gama como Rocko. Creo que no tiene el timbre indicado para reemplazar a Carlos Iñigu.

This, the actual stand in for Murray in the show was a biker gang leader in the episode Road Rash, i remember he said it in one of the episodes commentaries

Pozzed and bluepilled.
