Terra is for betraying.
Have she and Deathstroke...?
No. Terra is pure in this version
That's what they said about Earth-3 Luthor.
Terra is an all-seasons backstabber
The real question is if she dies yet again.
She won't.
I find funny that she is voiced by Tara Strong.
Please let Raven be voiced by Ashley Johnson.
Can you blame her after what beast boy did to her dad?
Supposedly her mission from Slade will be to kill Beast Boy publicly. So he might be important to Terra arc and betrayal just not on an emotional level.
Personally hope she turns on Slade and everyone welcome her back. Personally hope the the end credit is Tera lying on a bed and everyone giving her head Pat's.
Who's Pat?
Head pats
I'm so tired of Terra going through the same bullshit with Slade in every one of her incarnations. Give her something new to do. Like hang out with Atlee or something, I don't fucking know.
Is make sense why they are doing Judas Contract. I mean, they already did it with Artemis and Aqualad last season. This is just the Light's revenge
She'll date Beastboy, cuck him with Slade, then decide she wants to be 'normal' and we'll never see her again
Beast boy will see Slade sleeping and touch his penis. Terra will see and then break up with him. During graduation he'll try and talk to her but she'll walk right past him.
But Beast Boy already has a girlfriend.
I'm guessing they're setting her up for the obvious Slade betrayal only to do a fake out and have her change her mind because it's been done so much that's literally all the character is known for now.
>that's literally all the character is known for now.
Wolfman never intended her to be anything other than a traitor.
>Wolfman never intended her to be anything other than a traitor.
And that was a mistake.
Don't try and turn a hoe into a housewife user
I bet she dumps him so he can be a hero better and then he rebounds with Terra
>Klarion got out of the Tower of Fate
I'm surprised he wasn't there for longer.
Time probably works different for him. It probably took him 100 years inside the tower but might've been a day outside.
Wait when?
Next week's episode.
Do you think Savage will ever get a moment where he realizes how stupid siding with Apokolips was?
Either he's too arrogant to believe that or he's got a contingency like he did with the Reach.
It bums me out that Evolution has fooled people into thinking Savage IS RIGHT, even though it shows a lot of his weaknesses. Not just with how he killed his daughter when she became a liability, but also his hatred of the reminders of his mortality, and how he frames his relationship with Apokolips as a partnership, when all we see of him is just kissing Darkseid's ass.
Tara is for saving
>fooled people into thinking Savage IS RIGHT
I mean isn't it kind of implied that the only reason Earth still exists at all is Savage.
That kind of buys you a bit of leeway morally.
She cute.
If he breaks up with a princess, rebounds with another princess who is also a hero, and then gets to hook up with Raven who is ALSO a princess next season, I'll have to send Greg a very stern letter about hack writing
Witch boy!
She's due for a Mr. Freeze type re-imagining, walking plot device characters are boring, and her usual act is played out.
Is this an image from the next episode?
I want to protect this smile and see it into S4 and beyond.
I'd prefer if she stayed silent though, or at least if Tara got recast.
I too was in that thread.
If they do the Judas Contract plot beat for beat again, I'll hurl. They JUST had the Teen Titans movie in 2016, I don't wanna see that shit another time.
Probably a bait and switch betrayal knowing Weisman. Turns out she was working with Batman all along. Then Brion will betray the team.
Tbh nothing they do would be subversive
>Terra betrays the team
Saw that coming
>Terra betrays the light
What we all expect because of the movie
Now what I think would be the best option is if Terra figures out who Helga's mentor is (th brain of ultrahumanite) and Deathstroke has her go in deeper so they won't suspect a second traitor
thanks
Fuck the goddamn cartoon for making people think Tara's arc begins and ends with Beast Boy
Thank god. She’s more than just her relationship to Beast Boy.
It seemed implied to me that that's only partly true, because Savage reaching too far is why Apokolips knows about Earth at all.
Reminds me of when i grabbed my gfs dads dick
They could just use her for something completely unexpected.
Like instead of being the plant for Deathstroke she’s actually working to bring in The Brain and Monsieur Mallah.
Or better yet she’s actually Fear and the real Terra still hasnt come in yet.
Mallah's in jail. Brain is too, considering he's not back with The Light.
Terra died on Beast Boy's arms in the comics too.
Ah damn. I was trying to use villains I thought we hadn’t seen.
Well pick any 2 villains and replace them, the ideas still good.
Beast Boy is a millionaire actor.
Wasn't Aqualad The Team's revenge for Red Arrow?
>I'm so tired of Terra going through the same bullshit with Slade in every one of her incarnations. Give her something new to do. Like hang out with Atlee or something, I don't fucking know.
She stares into a multiverse mirror, sees the fates of other Terras, and becomes an alcoholic. Or just goes "wow, that's fucked up" and moves on I guess, I dunno.
Terra betraying everyone and being a total psycho in the original books only worked because it was unexpected. Now that it's what we know to expect, it no longer has teeth.
The direct-to-video movie worked around things by having her be a traitor that felt a little bad, and who got betrayed by Deathstroke, so she turned on him to save the day (dying in the process).
The cartoon had it be that she wrongly thought that the team had betrayed her, so she figured she was just betraying them back, but then Slade betrayed her, so she went down fighting him.
Basically Terra only works if it's something different from what came before. Except for Beast Boy's heart breaking, that's something that has to happen every time.
Would you consider Terra a hero in her own logic state of mind.
So they have two episodes to resolve Terra and Helga's suspicious phone conversations, Halo dying and what else that can't wait for season 4?
How many IRL millionaire actors managed to be in relationships with three princesses before they were 18
Sounds like she’s one multiversal mirror away from being Harley Quinn.
Naw Harley Quinn was a villain with an iconic costume. Once they change the costume every artist and writer tried to put their own spin on.the character. Leading to a "look at me quirky female Deadpool"
BTAS is best Harley in every way
>literally the only reason earth is still there
>his main philosophy is constantly proven right by the justice league and their sub-team by showing how much the general populous has become reliant on them.
>>sAVaGe mAN BAD!
>because Savage reaching too far is why Apokolips knows about Earth at all.
???
... So terra kidnapped some random corpse and then pretended it's her wife to justify her actions?
Deathstroke is apparently directly confronting Terra next episode so we might get some info then.
(another preview image has her and Brion confronting Jace, in general it seems the next episode is heavily focused on Terra)
God I hope so. That'd be hilarious, Tara's Terra talking to Ashley's Raven.
Name ONE(1) timeline/reality/comic/cartoon where this is true.
What's that, you can't since there isn't any?
Oh chucks, seems like headcanons based on NOTHING don't hold any value. Who could have guessed.
Based intentionally obtuse user
Why is Deathstroke missing the evil boardroom meeting?
Did this show announce that Gordon GodFrey is Darisied yet?
booty call on Terra.
See
uhh
what?
Glorious Godfrey is one of Darkseids minion's but he's not fucking Darkseid.
What’re you talking about? When Darksied makes a fist, it’s with 6 billion hands.
Deathstroke Rebirth? That version of Terra probably didn't even meet Beast Boy.
>Darisied
I feel the same way. I enjoy her character but I want to see a different story once in a while, rather than seeing her in anything and going "Huh, ok. Only a matter of time before she betrays someone."
Five episodes, actually.
user...there is quite honestly nothing to her beyond that one single fucking story
go on
tell me something about terra that has nothing to do with the judas contract
I'll wait.
So, assuming Terra and Jace get dealt with this episode, what does that leaves us with for the remaining five episodes?
>new Justice Leaguers revealed (Blue Devil, Magog, Elongated Man
>Artemis and Will kiss, they don't like it
>we see A Wally appear
>penultimate episode deals with Brion returning to Markovia and stopping a coup d'etat by his uncle
That doesn't mean someone couldn't or shouldn't write any, there's more to comics and adaptations than recycling old stories in reboots.
I want you to sit there and think about what you just posted.
You're saying that a character that only exists and is being brought back because of a story line shouldn't be pigeon holed because of that story line because that would just be recycling old stories and reboots.
I'm saying that just because a character's original purpose was tied to one story, and that every other use of the character since was just lazy retellings of that one story, doesn't mean that's all the character should ever be. There's nothing stopping anyone from writing the character differently, or expanding them and their purpose, or else Deadpool would still be an unironic edgy 90s character, Joker would be a gag villain, etc.
>As somebody proved you wrong despite your inane attempt at preemptively guessing the response.
Also, Beast Boy just being in the same panel with her does not disprove the statement.
>spoiler
>Weisman laughs in keikaku
No.
Well, I can still want a different story even if there isn't already one.
wasn't it 3b?
>Her smile and optimism: RESTORED
Remind me, why was she smiling?
I can't remember what made her switch sides.
The terra we know is actually a clone of terra, and the real terra died a while ago on a mission. When this terra finds out she then betrays the light, but she tells nobody so her clone programming still causes her to betray the team.
This would be the worst option, but noone would see it coming.
Somebody proposed the idea of Terra just being Ma'alefa'ak (Miss Martian's brother).
then why get upset about halo killing her parents?
She told Slade nothing worth reporting despite a episode where a lot of emotional trauma were resolved but also laid
Terra is still working with Slade in episode 26 though.
It has to be MORE crazy
Perdita isn't even a princess. She is the outright queen.
It honestly sounds like it's just time to bring Terra back.
>queen
she dead, only evil queen or good princesses are allowed.
Princess is just the popular thing. Hell, half the Disney princesses are actually Queen by the end of their own movies.
Then...the Queen of Hearts slays them all!
He didn't have a choice. It was either make a deal with Darkseid and watch helplessly as he conquers Earth.
Terra is also involved in the Penultimate and final episodes apparently so she's not really delt with in the next one.
She had a doppelganger in the 90s. The Rebirth version is still alive.
Terra's fine right now, she's just... not doing much of anything and her continuity is a clusterfuck.
the whole Terra 2 "IS SHE THE REAL TERRA OR NOT" business and the fucking time travel was so weird.
90s things.
The doppleganger is a different character entirely, though.
I mean her continuity seems rather straightforward to me. It just feels like in that continuity she is dead more often than not.
That was kind of a retcon of a retcon of a retcon.
Basically everything about the Judas Contract and how it happened is muddled now information in like Deathstroke, Titans and HiC is all contradictory on who was there how it played out and If she has ever died. And did the new 52 stuff happen? Who knows.
The entire history of her doppelganger is absurdly complicated, even by comicbook standars
Yeah some of the most 90s shit ever too.
I wouldn't mind if she and Beast Boy have a happy ending for once.
Terra and Ravager knowing each other and despising each other only makes sense if the New 52 stuff happened since that was the only time before the current Deathstroke run that they ever interacted.
Yeah but Terras new 52 and rebirth characterization is significantly different. I don't know it's all just so muddled now.
There are many contradictions in Heroes In Crisis.
That sounds more like different timelines than conflicting ones.
It's both.
