THE FUCKING CIGAR IS ONLY THERE TO OBSCURE HIS FEET! God I fucking hate Liefeld so much.

Holy shit that's fucking amazing. Never change Rob.

His work may be shit but at least he loves the medium and genuinely tried. He managed to get a little better at art over the years. Meanwhile you got people who don't give a shit and don't even try, resulting in shit comics no one buys.

I'll take someone with his mindset over some neurotic twitter-warrior everyday.

Liefield managed to make a name out of himself in the industry.

>orange man

End yourself, absolute brainlet.

Imagine being this retarded.

“Loves” the medium and “tried”:

Most responsible for worst vices of American 1990’s comic industry , which very nearly killed it
First Image founder to stop working as actual artist on own books.
First Image founder to be cast out by fellow Image founders.
Returned to being “artist” once no longer considered “hawt” and “kewl” and reputation never regained nor improved both critically and commercially but only worsened
Cannot stay at all on any title longer than 6 issues.
Cannot ever finish even 1 proper volume of his own creator-owned IP , hence all the failed comic companies and prematurely cancelled titles .
Spends all of his time trying to get his IP adapted by Hollywood instead of actually being productive in publishing
Ignored Deadpool (and all his other Marvel work-for-hire) for longest time until suprise success with movie franchise , suddenly credit-grabbing 100% as if he actually —- and only he —- ever had anything to do with popularity of character beyond basic concept, absolutely ignores actual contributions of all the other creators who actually worked to make DP popular over the years
SCAM/SHAM - vaporware Kickstarter project despite 6 years and $40K donations
I could Go on Forever

Like Trump , paradox of absolute lack of talent combined with absolute excess of ego tsk tsk tsk

Death of Superman and Marvel's parent company buying a trading card company are what nearly killed the industry

eat a hundred dicks and watch Linkara videos you faggot

That cigar is fucking HUGE

...that cigar is like a yard long, judging by the tiles.
For it to obscure the feet while being as big as a cigar would be the angle has to be much, much lower.
Alas, he made it as big as a palm trunk.

Ochre man bag!

never be this person

kek

We will construct a great pair of Feet, and we will make the Mexicans draw them

>the giant cigar even despite the perspective
>That it's obviously obscured by the feet lol
>the wonky tile in the hallway
>the 50 foot tall empty purple room
>That Youngblood man is actually tilted back at an angle in proportion to the floor

I really enjoyed the new series even though I kinda lost track of it in recent years.

>genuinely tried
Liefeld is the one artist you can say genuinely doesn't try.

Even if you like his dogshit art and even more dogshit writing, no one can be so delusional to think the laziest motherfucker in the industry 'genuinely tried'.

Liefeld is the epitomy of coasting off of early fame and not trying at all.

Orange Men , really Bad

Yes , indeed recently?!

I love this . His perspective lines are RIGHT THERE on the floor, yet he's just like fuck-it, and draws the cigar enormous anyway

A savior?

Absolutely terrible, and the worst part is seeing his apologists talk about him with such a property as if the guy was (and is) one of the "hardest working" in the industry and not somebody who coasted on several unfinished IPs he sold over the years. Meanwhile his current work is not even slightly better than decades ago, while you have guys like Alan Davis, whose work has barely changed since his prime, consistently looking great even while employing digital coloring. His drawings are evergreen.

knowing mexicans, the feet will be going super saiyan.

Two thoughts;

It's really kind of sad that Youngblood can no longer interact with the Image Universe. It would be as much of a shock as if the X-Men couldn't interact with Marvel.

It's all Liefeilds fault. All that wheeling and dealing and scamming from the 90's speculator days has finally caught up with him. Go watch on youtube Cartoonist Kayfabe's Wizard Magazine commentaries and you will witness a document of excess and greed.

We all make mistakes, I wonder how successful Rob would be if he sued for at least publishing rights. I've always loved Youngblood as trash X-Men that is easy to read while taking a shit.

Why even bother comparing him to Trump? Liefeld is shitty enough on his own. Hell Liefeld is so shitty he's become the universal shorthand name for bad comics. Hell he's like the Uwe Boll or Tommy Wisaeu of comics.
I mean for fuck's sakes Liefeld is so reviled nowadays it is accepted almost as fact that he single-handedly ruined the 90s as a decade for comics. There was an entire website devoted to making fun of his worst art. Do you need to compare him to anyone?
