When I was a kid it was big introduction into the "The main character is smart and always right and is an asshole about it" kinda things, even at a young age I never took his jokes telling people kill themselves to heart. I kinda don't like the modern rants anymore and would prefer more videos of just Germaine and Fomay interacting but now it feels like she barely talks.

1st version of the Reboot was great, especially once all the boob stuff was front and center, once he started retconning everything it quickly fell to shit, and the current version of Germaine is just plain boring, she's just a NEET with no personality, not to mention she's basically a complete sticc these days too, so she's not even fun to look at

honestly I'd say the big problem is that he continues to do NY as a cartoon when he'd be much better off doing NY as a webcomic

the guy ended up doing like several more time skips and multiple more retcons, leading to the current reality where Germaine is a agoraphobic NEET with barely any personality and nothing interesting visually going on with her either, pretty much every cartoon with her in it these days involves one or more of the squirrels bitching at her because she doesn't do anything, and said cartoons aren't really worth watching anyways cause they're rarely over a minute anymore and are very lazily animated these days, which is kinda pathetic for a series that only releases two episodes a month normally

and as that video will show, Germaine is pure wonder bread in terms of both personality and appearance, like the only remnant of any of her older designs is pretty much just her hair color at this point

Why does Foamy look the same as ever but all the women look like shiny, overwrought anime dressup game sprites. Why does it look so much like some chinese bootleg of itself churned out as clickbait.

I like it, but I hate the new art style. The squirrels have to similar body shapes, and Pillsy literally just sounds like Foamy
