>or people can just do what the fuck they want, who gives a shit?
The classic argument "if people are happy they should do everything they want!"
What does it mean to be happy? To be completely free to do whatever people want. That is simply impossible, this world is not free, we are not here to find happiness through freedom.
Could you wake up one day and walk all the way around the world without fearing for your life?
You cannot, and you know why, there are countless barriers whether natural or man-made that force us to find a place on earth where we can settle and build a society that can more or less keep us safe. And we delude ourselves to think that we are any better today than our ancestors, we may do certain things easily but at the end of the day we are still faced with attacks from every direction, diseases, natural disasters, humans who want to destroy or abuse us.
To believe that your purpose in this world is to seek your own vain happiness is a delusion, a lack of perspective, for you are putting your own needs ahead of what society needs, only a society with a healthy, productive and united population can achieve greatness and overcome the constant challenges that threaten our fragile sense of freedom and what we perceive as a good life.
The LGBT movement and other movements of their kind, they are reactionary movements based on the idea that the most important thing in life is to find happiness and therefore they should be allowed to live their life as they see fit. But this falsehood will only bring about decadence and stagnation to a society that requires to rapidly evolve in order to survive the coming catastrophes that we can foresee and those that we can't.
People against LGBT aren't a result of bigotry, humans have evolved to keep other members of the tribe in check, to ensure that everyone is carrying their own weight, that they're not taking more than they deserve or earn, it is for the greater good.
