I feel like it’s rarely talked about on here.
Does Yea Forums like Regular Show?

It had the second best ending of any Cartoon Network show. First, obviously being the Ed boys.
It peaked at season 1, and that entire season focusing on Mordecai's love life was fucking boring
So they just went to space for that one season?
And then we had that time skip where they became hipsters?

season 1 was kino. it was stealthily an adult cartoon. if you watch reruns, many of the scenes have changed because they noticed it too late
I liked it for a while but I dropped it when it turned into Mordecai Wants A Gf: the Series.
Yes one of few cartoons to not be insufferable with youknowwhat type shit this decade. It was nice to have a fun dude show.
I just love how Mordecai marries that character that probably haves a name... so much build up.
>Cartoon Network
Puh-lease! This is a Disney Board
Stef is best wife. She is fierce bat lady who crush his balls and whip him mercilessly.
It's pretty based. I remember as a kid dropping it around season 4 because it felt too repetitive but I recently started re-watching all of it and it's great. Much better with it all being readily available and not waiting a week at a time just to be underwhelmed. Haven't gotten to the movie or the space season though.
Stay away from those cancerous ass comics.
Last cartoon I enjoyed. When it ended I stopped using Yea Forums and by extension, Yea Forums. Newer shows are shit and even Owen who wrote and boarded this series for awhile wasn't able to make a good miniseries. Neither was that Royals one.
Just fucking release Close Enough already so I can watch a cartoon again.
Why are you here then?
I check in to see if any older shows I used to watch have threads, if they don't I leave. Or on the rare off chance something upcoming catches my eye like the Rocko and Zim revivals. I follow those sometimes and since Rocko is out and Zim is next I'

Auto didn't deactivate while I was typing this time.
It's talked about here often
RS does not have regular threads, I wouldn't say it's talked about here that often.
What I often hear is that only the two first seasons out of 8 were good, and that would make it some 8 years ago, so no wonder it would leave little to talk about.
Personally I really like some of the craziest episodes from s3 and s4, too, that didn't focus on relationshit.
>What I often hear is that only the two first seasons out of 8 were good
Most people just remember the relationship stuff growing after that period and write off everything. Hell, The Christmas Special isn't even in Seasons 1 or 2. 3 and 4 were great, 5 was average, 6 was fairly boring, 7 seemed like a return to form attempt but made it between ''average" and "great", so I guess just good. For the life of me I still can't form a solid opinion on 8. I didn't hate it but it was just... it felt really fucking weak in a way the series had never felt before. It was fun here and there and the finale was fine, but the season as a whole was just kinda there. I like that they gave the series finale an entire seasons build up though, but I heard that half the story got cut when it was cancelled.
First time watching it as a kid(fucking show came out when I was in 7th grade. Im 21 now) I loved it but rewatching it the episodes are really boring.
I haven't even downloaded the whole series, but fully intend to skip season 8. They change completely the setting and the early show wasn't exactly good due to an overarching story.
Yes, it's my favorite Cartoon Network show and I liked the whole thing. The very down to earth atmosphere was enjoyable and I loved the creative stupid shit J.G. and crew would come with. I also liked the 80s aesthetic and how the animation kind of matches that. It was the only CN show this decade I enjoyed all the way through and thought it was easily one of the best shows they've ever made.
this post gives me good vibes, hopefully turner releases JG from his cage soon
Yeah, my most anticipated upcoming cartoon was Close Enough. It's a shame that AT&T came through and fucked over everything when it came to releases. Owen Dennis' Infinity Train gives off that adult vibe Regular Show had and I kind of like it. It's not quite the same but it's a good holdover until later. Plus it's got a lot of those same great writers.
Yep, one of my favorite cartoons along with Gravity Falls
Regular Show was my favorite 2010s CN cartoon. I do hope Close Enough gets made.
Season 1 has been finished for over a year. I just hope they fixed hog dick.
Thank God, user. I thought you died.
