They clash again and again despite growing up together, and by the end of season 3, Catra has Moonstone-level powers in a great finale. I think the final design of the suit is alright, edgy but not too fancy.

I love the rightmost one here the most in a vacuum, but it doesn't make sense at all considering the black rocks aren't really gems. But it does have the bulkiness I personally wanted from the Moonstone suit.
I don't mind the current one we have at all honestly, makes sense to give her a mobility-centric outfit when she's indestructible anyway. But that's just me.

Cassandra (as far as we know) had a bad day and lashes out to people she loves.

Catra is full on BPD /r9k/, the only thing kept her sane was her """friendship""" with Adora. She loses that to an extent in the first few episodes, then even more later. Her repressed sexual frustration ramps up so much she doesn't care about anything anymore but to destroy the only thing she ever loved.

She-ra is a pretty bad show (though some improvements were made between seasons) but the Catra suffering tops Cass easily.

I've had desire to watch for a while but I really get held back by reluctance for what the bulk of the show constitutes. Things I've seen say the villain characters look great, but the "mains" look pretty lame, and I'd hate to slog through a story where characters I hate continuously do things I hate with just a sprinkling of good antagonists and suffering

In the spirit of discussion, has anyone here watched Princess Tutu? I was just rewatching it and remembering how much I liked Ahiru's/Duck's character because of how optimistic and lively she is. She has many similar traits to Rapunzel, although she gets to suffer a lot more in her story.

You may enjoy it. Starts as a medieval fantasy world and slowly takes a darker and darker turn. Plus it has this "fight against fate" element that was so great in Berserk.
