Was it good?
Tulip is FLAT!
Show's pretty good if I do say so myself, has a bit of a pacing issue tho.
Atticus can't be gone forever, right?
r-right?
NO, SHOW BAD. EVERYTHING BAD. STOP LIKING THINGS. FEEL BAD ALL THE TIME AND ENJOY NOTHING.
I haven't even seen this show, yet I'm so tired of this shit attitude.
Enjoy the suffering.
... You're the only one who brought up the attitude, though.
I meant the new episodes
Oh definitely.
Eh, the show does has its problems but it's pretty good overall.
I've been seeing it come up a lot in regards to Infinity Train, and I want to vent. Every single time a new thing comes out, droves of people come out to call it shit. Like, just fucking kill yourself if you're this terminally unable to enjoy anything.
Also, does IT straight up have the protagonist moving up the cars one by one? Cause that seems like a tricky formula to avoid tedium.
Some people just dont like ir because its popular like everything on Yea Forums
annon means old threads of people who just complaing about everything.
Overall this show its Nice and Fun it does have pacing issues. Its going waaaay to fast. And thats understandable because its a mini series and not a full show.
>giving a dog ice cream
Infinity Train is divorced from good writing.
He will be fine. One One will probably fix him
Guys is it wrong that I'm in love with a 13 year old?
Kiddie show
pretty based if you ask me
Hneslty if he just stays dead/a RoachDogg it would probably be one of the most based things to air. The credits could show a statue of Atticus in Corginia.
THEY KILLED THE DOG AND THE EPISODE ENDED WITH TULIP IN TEARS, HOW THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO ENJOY ANYTHING ANYMORE
Just watched the episode of today. Holy shit, guys, this thing went form 0 to 100 in just one episode. Sadly the rest of the series doesn't have the same atmosphere.
You're feeding trolls at this point, Infinity Train has proven its worth.
True. Enough said.
F
Put Loud House and SU in there while you're at it.
The episode 7 is as mediocre as the rest of the series. Episode 8 is actually pretty good, the best episode so far.
Episode 8 is shit until the last 3 minutes.
S. Men go on adventures. Dogs get put down
It's only for the new shows.
Anne and boring characterization are Siamese twins.
Of course they're gonna bring him back.
They're not gonna let the cute corgi stay dead or fucked up like that.
If they don't bring him back that'd actually be pretty damn bold of them.
Owl House hasn't earned a spot at the table. I'd suggest Adora from She-Ra, but Yea Forums is really divided over that show whereas the other five are managing to break through the hate aegis to touch some hearts and minds.
Rushed Development: the Miniseries
Considering the tribes, Luz would be more appropriate than Adora.
I relate to Tulip as a person A LOT. And I dislike that
Good Annefags ITT are pathetic and desperate. Don't reply to them and their ADHD brains will ensure they leave
I have autism for this things since I was a child. I don't know how do they call it in murica, here they are laberinto de pelotas literally, balls maze.
Well, if OH does turn out as great as the others, there should probably be a few more characters inside the truck, like Steven and Finn. This has been an amazing year for cartoons after nearly a decade of being force-fed shit flavored tapioca.
Damn, why didn't they turn mirror Tulip into a character from the crew. It would have been awsome, more over if you consider how fucking cute she looks with short hair.
good, pain is the ultimate gift
We call 'em ball pits here in burgerland.
I was expecting her to throw Steward off their trail indirectly
They should have kept the Conductor communicating only through beeping and the Steward could have translated it. It would have been really menacing and creepy ti have such an unhuman-like opponent. The voice he has is pretty creepy but not as unsettling as unintelligible beeps being echoed by a third another entity.
>balls maze
Sounds gay. We call them "ball pits."
Who would win in a fight: Anne or Tulip?
As someone who's never seen Blade Runner before can you tell me how much Blade Runner this episode was?
The old tale of brain vs brawn
Unless it's a puzzle fight, Anne.
Anne because she has more swordsmanship.
>that last episode
WHAT THE FUCKING FUUUUUUUCCCKKKK
>laberinto de pelotas
wtf where are you from? here it's called "piscina de pelotas" (pool of balls/balls pool) , where does the maze part come from?
I feel like a ball pit that was also a maze would be pretty sweet
The conductor's voice left me kind of disappointed, the beeping made it seem like he was so mechanical and alien he couldn't even communicate directly. Now he looks like ED-209 with a cloak.
Something with a voice like pic related would have been cooler, more unsettling.
youtube.com
>tries to be logical but often ends up being irrational and hasty
>doesn't like getting help from others even if she really need it
>ignores texts and calls from everyone because "too busy with hobby" or whatever
>tries to pretend everything's gonna be alright when it's clearly not
Besides the divorced parents thing she's pretty much me.
Anne for various reasons, mainly because she actually fights a lot in her show and seems to be pretty active in general.
None%. It did have a splash of Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, tho.
They're almost nonexistent in burgerlandia anymore, they're insanely unsanitary. It's absolutely mental that they were ever allowed in the first place.
Obviously Anne, that's not even a matter of discussion.
So that's basically a 10%
why does the conductor have a giant shoe for a head
>IT'S ACTUALLY GOOD
OH NO NO NO NO ANNEBROS THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING, IT WAS SUPPOSED TO FLOP
no that shit gets annoying especially if they are the maybe main bad guy
You dubbed motherfucker stop talking about me
Anne, unless it's some kind of coding fight or something nerdy like that
this makes me horny.
>IT'S ACTUALLY GOOD
But it isn't. It pretty much is a flop.
She's very warm in all those clothes and that robot is squeezing her a little too hard.
Perú.
>where does the maze part come from?
With "laberinto de pelotas" we don't only mean the part where the balls are, but the whole structure, so that's where the "maze" comes from.
THIS IS BULLSHIT, WHERE ARE ALL THESE GOOD CARTOONS COMING FROM
DON'T THEY KNOW CARTOONS ARE SUPPOSED TO SUCK
They should have made it a glitchy Microsoft sam youtube.com
cope
Cringe.
Actual cope.
Motherfucker I love you. Thanks you so much.
If it's a physical fight, definitely Anne.
If it's some nerdy shit that requires brain power Tulip will win.
I love Anne to death, but at the end of the day she is indeed INT 2.
Remember Tulip still has the Donut Holer. She's gonna use it to escape and put a donut hole in the Conductor making Cat the secret hero of the series.
She's gonna help as well.
Why does Hilda look uglier and uglier every time I see her?
Didn't love up to the hype and ratings are going down. These two episodes are probably going to be lower than last night's.
His voice should have sounded like it was going through an old train intercom system.
i imagine a good amount of people are gonna binge it tomorrow while its airing
Where's the webm of Tulip singing Word Up by Cameo
400k and 500k viewers every night are pretty consistent if you ask me. Can't say about frog show.
I was expecting the machine would only produce mechanical bips while the actual machine voice would projected into Tulip's mind. Similar to what it happened when the machine first appeared. It made mechanical bips while the cat understanded what it meant
This. Ratings guaranteed to skyrocket.
Frog show had like 50 autists watching, lets be real.
>Perú.
yo wtf, I'm ALSO from Perú
When talking about the whole structure it's usually just called maze, but when talking specifically about the balls part then it's a pool.
Shut up
Spoiler alert.
How about on actual television and not from an illegal video file?
Maybe a couple thousand viewers.
But... Amphibia had consistently higher ratings.
>Anne’s gonna get home and wonder if it was all a dream
>she pulls the donut holer out of her bag
>Or was it???
Just give up Annefag. This is embarrassing.
The exact moment you know shit's about to go down.
Is this a miniseries? Is episode 8 the final episode?
Also when did this actually come out? I missed the first 8 episodes releasing. Damn.
Because difference demographic.
Also how do you even rate cartoons anyway? IMDb?
>1080p mega updated
It’ll be 10 episodes. The last two come out tomorrow.
>this thread
you mean Tulip
Amphibia was slightly lower than Infinity Train, but it also remained consistent across four times as many episodes.
Damn. I just found it made it to air. Oh well, better finding out late than never.
Yeah, it totally ended with the dog dying and Tulip still on the train.
It started on Monday and is airing every weeknight this week with two episodes a night and a marathon tomorrow night leading into the final two episodes.
You haven't actually missed much and can catch up with everyone else in a couple of hours.
I've had followed both shows since early develop news and I must say Amphibia is better so far the only good IT episodes are the Corgi episode (it was a one-one adaptation from the pilot, so it really doesn't count) and the ball pits episode, the rest is mediocre and its best.
Tulip is not relatable. Her only personality is "her parents are divorced" and nothing more, I don't think "knows how to program" counts since it doesn't have an actual rol in the show an the onions part is a way too prolongued joke.
That's my humble opinion, don't trying to troll anyone, just being honest, if there is anyone who actually wants to discuss whic show is better then here I am, but if you want to keep shitposting, just ignore this post.
Didn't the Cat died when the mechanical spider blew up the balls pit?
Do Mao Mao and DCSHG go at each other's throats or something?

>Tulip is not relatable.
Speak for yourself, if anything she's a little too relatable.
No, I was just meaning the whole Tulip/Anne/Luz stuff. Mao Mao and DCSHG are just shows that I would say Yea Forums enjoys way more than Star, which is why I added those in when I made that image.
Totally.
>she's a little too relatable.
Elaborate, fren. I personally don't really find anything relatable in her. He's just an average dorky girl socially awkard, I don't find nothing that haven't been done before in her personality.
No. Owen wanted a miniseries.
Source in the image and is there images for the other episode sets?
Why?
>rushed
She's been living in a magical train for months now
Didn't want to leave things unfinished or let them fade out.
There's a possibility of a season two with a new MC being picked up.
Hilda, Luz, Reggie and Mao fags seethe in the background.
Like how OTGW progressed, Owen saw that limited episodes would help flesh out the series more rather than a regular season.
twitter.com
Basically just look at I'm not even him but the fact that post exists means that there are people who see themselves in Tulip too.
I don't relate to her with her parents getting divorced, her interest in coding or her weird love for onions, but rather because she's, well, just like you said "an average dorky girl socially awkard", it may not be new or exciting but I'd definitely call it "relatable", at least for me.
>Owen saw that limited episodes would help flesh out the series more rather than a regular season.
unfortunately he failed
Had Tulip not said that I would've thought it's just been some days.
>3 shows people fight tooth and nail over
>3 shows that most people enjoy
Okay, it all makes sense now.
>Didn't the Cat died when the mechanical spider blew up the balls pit?
No the steward only collapsed the ball pit. One-One was fine and the cat too.
2, one is not coming out until next year
This face
You can see the steward in the window halfway through the episode. Was waiting for the other shoe to drop from the moment I spotted that, was not disappointed.
Also, goddamn, the mirror episode had so many glove-related animation errors.
I want the gif
where the fuck is the programming in this show?
Still has the same following as the other two, just less loud.
is everywhere
because the train is in Tulips head
divorce
where are you getting these comfy pics from?
>Mao fags seethe
Literally the chaddest tribe at the moment. IT might be turnt up at the moment, but Maogang knows it'll get some lovin' later.
I don't know how to make a gif.
Someone do this for me please
The link I posted. She's the artist.
I want to mindbreak Tulip
Why is it that every show about a fantasy world must mean that it's all in the protagonist's mind?
You couldn't even mindbreak a chicken.
hi, Im from the future and the dog is alive, the train was/wasnt real and Tulip parents found her in the snow unharmed not far from their home, and they're together again
Mao tribe is a background tribe but their threads last long as hell somehow.
She just saw her new best friend get shot and his corpse turned into a soul-sucking roachdog monster she had to imprison, you're a little too late for that.
thanks, im dumb
>somehow
Lotta fun shit to talk about when a new batch of episodes drops. Also, we have a professional artist in the industry drawfriending for us.
I want to "deflower" Tulip
The power of a chad cartoon causes longevity.
MaoMao is a whiny bitch thou, unless you mean Badger, based Badger
Since when do we call each other "tribe"?
>whiny
All he really has is daddy issues.
Badger is for gay boys. Only Mao and Adorabat.
Since that one meme two weeks ago.
bullshit, gays dont have robot arms.
It's been theorized that the real conductor is actually a human controlling the robot.
>Voltron
...godamn it
Hey I loved the pilot! Didn't know it was out. Any good?
>Why is it that every show about a fantasy world must mean that it's all in the protagonist's mind?
Because that is what "Fantasy" means.
Feels a bit rushed but worth watching.
Merci beaucoup
>Be Tulip
>Slip and fall in the snow on the way to the train station
>Dream up train, One One, Atticus, etc.
>Mom and Dad save her from dying in the snow in last episode.
>It was all a dream!
god i fucking hate that shit when its done poorly, i really hope thats not how it ends
I would be down to storm the CN office if this happens
Neither. Tulip instead fucks the train.
>no time passed at all
>Mom and Dad both drive her to Osh Kosh, singing Word Up
>they get remarried
>Tulip excels at computer camp, creating a new game where you play as One-One and fight Steward
>cut to Tulip still in cat's car, passed out
>It was all a dream!
I'm gonna chimp out if they pull that shit.
why do you want the spooky train to be real?
Why not?
I just want them to explain everything. I don't care if the train is real or not.
>strawpoll.com
As in what? What we want or what we think will happen?
i came to Yea Forums for the first time in three years to talk about this show with you guys and all you want to do is bitch and whine and search for reasons to not enjoy something fun :(
>Tulip goes home
>She looks in the mirror
>There is no reflection
>I just want them to explain everything.
I hope they don't. Having a concrete explanation for supernatural stuff rarely works out well.
Sure doesn't feel like it.
I thought it had only been a few weeks.
If they didn't say she was on there for months I certainly wouldn't have guessed it.
>She faints
>Wakes up on train again
Sorry. We'll try better. Probably fail, we'll be sorry then too.
why the fucking dog. I can't handle this, everything but this
I thought this line was very well delivered.
youtu.be
he's still a dog
it's just now he'll be wandering restaurants and sucking souls
It did remind me of Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?
>actually enjoying a cartoon for once
>find out it's a miniseries and only has two episodes left
>mfw
and the episodes aren't even long. Ten eleven-minute long episodes is nothing. My disappointment is immeasurable.
i just want you to be happy! infinity train is the best thing i've seen in years - there's forever to pick it apart. the feeling of looking forward to a brand new episode of something is rare and worth savoring.
She reaches her house. Her front door is an exit door and she's still on the train
>he actually likes short haired Tulip
she looks like a younger version of Reggie's brother. This is pure Yea Forumsmblr taste.
Possible season 2 is coming up, don't lose hope, user.
i'm excited too but i've been burned too much by bad finales, episode 8 feels like the peak to me
Tulip cosplaying as Fio Germi when?
I'm at still page 3 of a drawing manual book, I can't draw worth shit
I like both
What about this train is infinite, exactly?
The Conductor is such a badass villain, holy shit. Menacing appearance, threatening voice and ruthless nature definitely make him a favorite for me. I also love that his trio is a mirror to Tulip’s.
Leader: Tulip/Conductor
Robot: One-One/Steward
Animal: Atticus/Cat
Shame we’ll only have two more episodes with him. :(
Saw the episodes, no more spoilers for me.
Cat wants her freedom and did sold Tulip on specific, i feel she was indeed a passenger now eternally stuck there. She didn't want to actually hurt Tulip and hoped The Conductor wouldn't do anything real bad. Is she dead after the destruction of the playing area? or she eacaped like One-One?
During the episode we cpuld see The Steward's shadow moving, was expecting for shit to go down and oh boy it did. Good night sweet king. Curious if the gun turned him into a Ghom or he was always a Ghom and "killing" him was the only way to reveal the true self and all that. If the former, does that mean that all the Ghoms in the desert were inhabitants of the train?
The Conductor is also an interesting guy, he wants to "help" through escapism and related tactics yet the numbers say that the way out is affronting reality. Did The Conductor got corrupted along the way and with him The Steward? or was he always antagonistic and is The Engine itself who wants to truly help or some shit like that? Like a devil and angel game of soul collecting and Tulip is the puzzle piece to win
Is it just me or does he look like ED-209 from Robocop?
>Is she dead
no
>does that mean that all the Ghoms in the desert were inhabitants of the train?
yes
Nowadays CN is only capable of proper storytelling in miniseries. Their regular shows waste literal YEARS with filler only to give us rushed and underwhelming finales.
>The Chrome Car
Other than the Swiss Knife-Ex-Machina the episode is fantastic. Evil mirror/twin never gets old, and the resolution was cute too. Easily trumps over the Crystal Car for best "standalone" episode.
>The Ball Pit Car
Man, I can believe Alpha from Power Rangers was actually the conductor this whole time and that he fucking killed Atticus right in front of everyone. This episode make a great use of mood whiplash and gives a great sense of danger anf hopelessness, but unfortunately due to the short run time of the episodes the weight of the situation is not left on the audience's shoulders long enough to leave an impresion.
Today's episodes make me a little bit more optimistic about the series having a strong ending. And while it will not reach OTGW levels of lightning in a bottle (pacing, pacing, the series' goddam pacing) I easily place it as a must watch, if any at least one time.
Long Hair Tulip superior Tulip
>And while it will not reach OTGW levels of lightning in a bottle (pacing, pacing, the series' goddam pacing)
OtGW had pretty over-the-place pacing.
The cat was a selfish bitch who only cared about her collection. She's probably learned her lesson and will help Tulip out in the next episode.
Those creepy things are definitely a result of intervention and not natural. One-One was probably freaking out in the turtle car because he knew that broken cars and citizens get destroyed or turned into those things as they seem to be the only way to survive the desert around the train.
The conductor is evil and doesn't want to help. He just wants to keep the status quo of each car in check and passengers are always intervening, hence he has the reasoning to act as the antagonist. Analytically speaking though yeah, it's supposed to show how ignoring your problems is bad and even though it feels like it helps it actually doesn't. The fact that it's a train also shows how life is a journey and you don't want to be stuck in one place forever, you -need- to get off at some point.
It has no end?
NoEnd Train
>She reaches the final train car where she's given the option to leave or stay
>She chooses to leave
>Blacks out
>Wakes up in the snow
>Not just snow, some sort of moving vehicle
>A train? No, it's a wagon
>She looks around bleary eyed
>"Hey you, you're finally awake"
>Fucking Todd you've done it again
another shot of the train looking rather endless
I bet the train tracks look like this.
>Swiss Knife-Ex-Machina
it's literally within the first 30 seconds of the episode, it's not a deus ex machina if they set it up you colossal silly person
the time constraint on the ball pit episode sucks, i wish they slashed the wacky bunny shenanigans but i get what they were going for
So the train is basically an Ouroboros.
damn last episode is Tulip opening the next train car and it happens to be the very first one she was on
Has to have a beginning though. Otherwise there is no conductor car.
>Tulip finds the conductor at the engine, bloody trail of bodies behind her
>the conductor is Ed Harris
>He tells her that she must become the new conductor
>One-One blows up the train as she is about to accept
>humanity is doomed
Chrome Car is my favorite episode so far. It almost has everything I wanted from this series. I wanted many of the cars to have been their own distinct societies with their own rules and quirks. I liked that there was reflection police with their own procedures. I loved that there was a nickname for them. I want cars that look like their the size of small nations like the corgi car not the size of Spyro or 3d Mario levels. If this was a full series I wanted Tulip to spend three episodes in some cars exploring the area.
Funny, we where comparing the show to Brazil and Videodrome in the last thread.
>that's when she gets zapped like the first guy she saw
>last scene is of a different passenger witnessing the same scene
Like 80% BladeRunner 20% David Lynch.
I really liked how our reflections are kinda like our opposites but they're forced to do everything we do.
There can be a first car, but no last car
Goddamn, Episode 8 started so innocent and got real fucking intense.
oh fuck no
the person she saw get zapped was actually herself
>Tulip spend a lifetime looking for the conductor
>She now is old, her body slowly been replaced by robotic prosthetic
>Once she kills the conductor she is shock to discover herself inside the robot
>All the people in the train are Tulip infinitely moving forward in time on the train.
>She becomes the new conductor trying to stop herself.
The last three minutes don't work without the rest lulling you into a false sense of security. The tension wouldn't be nearly as good without it.
Yeah he does.
Tulip is One-One
Man, that's some Stephen King Dark Tower garbage.
>Swiss Knife-Ex-Machina
They set it up in the very beginning, it's more like Chekov's Swiss Knife.
When was the last time you saw a story pull an un-subverted "It was all just a dream" twist ending?
I actually was thinking how the train is infinite because of time loops, I just watched the endless and yoy should too, becaus were never saw any other humans but there was a seemingly human soul so maybe that's Tulip getting out of the train
How that fucker driving the train from that car? He needs to get back to the main car or the train might go off track.
We don't know if it is moving at that point for one thing, I suppose.
Also maybe he can delegate a robot to do it?
I think it's pretty obvious how things are gonna go. Tulip was introduced as a junior programmer. The train is programmable. She's gonna either program an escape, a way to defeat the evil robot overlords or some kind of paradise for everyone's she's met on there.
>The cat was a selfish bitch who only cared about her collection.
That's harsh thing to say. She also cared about not getting killed. also keeping her ability to move around without the fear of the previously mentioned is taken away. It's understandable to why she used Tulip the way she did.
I think we see the train moving through the exit at the end of episode 8 when he takes his leave.
What if it was all just a game she accidentally programmed haha
I can't say I'm a fan of the conductor's voice. It sounds less "robotic" and more "distorted". The cadence and timing of the words is far too natural.
This picture makes it look like someone punched her in the face
I ain't watching this shit.
So am I the only one wondering if Tulip will no longer have a reflection? She seemed to know her life before any of the train stuff. Or maybe she'll get a new one.
Maybe the train if infinite because is poorly programed and is stuck in an infinite loop.
Nevermind. Checked. We don't see anything.
Good. What would you recomend us?
Also Peru here. Born in the states though. You both have good taste in shows.
It's the black gem voice actress from Steven Universe right?
This whole show lacks subtlety and has characters just talk about their feelings, but I still like it.
Mirror Tulip is cute.
Ehg, I don't know.
I'm gonna take the Gravity Falls approach to this one and let it sink and the fandom consume itself and come back when it's over a few years later. Same with Hilda and practically all shows like these.
lol and the roaches are bugs in the game
>Each train car is either the personification of a concept, or a society full of animals.
>The cars determine how that thing works/behaves in real life. The tortoise car is unfinished, therefore tortoises move slowly and hardly do anything in real life
>Every time they mess with a train car, it fucks up that thing in real life
Checked the app rip to see the credits, surprisingly the conductor's VA wasn't listed. But by ear, hell no it isn't Estelle.
Amphilda: Heroes of twelve forever
The final episode is tomorrow dude.
Why is there no choice for "gets off on the train?"
>letting fandom affect your opinion on a show
sucks to be you
I liked it better when it seemed like he only spoke in bleeps and bloops.
Like he was so mechanical and so far removed from humanity that even the Steward seemed more human than he did.
Much more menacing than what we got now.
Anthony Howell according to imdb.
russian doll was like that. she was a video game programmer trapped in an infinite loop, applied programming logic to her situation and fixed the loop.
>letting fandoms dictate your enjoyment of a show
Pussy.
Doesn't matter, the discussion online is a shitfest and it's gonna continue like that for some time. I'm gonna wait for it to die down.
You don't know how many shows are infinitely more enjoyable once the coast and discussion about it is clear. Rick and Morty and Samurai Jack season 5 suffered from this as well. So yeah I ain't gonna watch it until shit dies down.
They're playing all the episodes tomorrow. Relax.
Anyone else think she was gonna be the circles?
Suck my ass, niggers.
Perception of media is affected by opinion and it's mainly why you guys circlejerk in these threads
There's a difference between actual opinions and waifufaggotry shitposting, user.
That's the only acceptable ending. Or better yet, she find a room that's basically her world and she just stays there because it's "good enough"
One-one doesn't sound like a robot, why should the Conductor?
Is your reply supposed to make sense? Because it doesn't seem to mean anything.
How about you just watch it for yourself and form your -own- opinion?
It shouldn't matter what anyone else thinks about it.
why do you browse this board?
Tulip seemed surprised to find a train station to begin with. I was thinking that she had just planned to walk there despite how far it is because she's still just a child and probably thinks it's possible.
So Atticus was a roach all along, but train turned him into a cute talking dog? Is this what train does, it takes in horrible creatures and changes them?
Nah. It's a computer simulation. Roaches are computer bugs. He turned into a roach because he died aka program malfunctioned and became a bug in the system.
Go watch Rick and Morty instead, brainlets
It's the fart cloud from R&M.
>Letting the fandom dictate the shows you watch
>Trying to justify that
One-One's speech switching between Glad-One and Sad-One is pretty unnatural, and help cement they're inhumanness. The Conductor just sounds like someone trying really hard to be threatening, with some phone-line noise played overtop. It doesn't work.
i already did, like two years ago
we weren't talking about whether it had been done before or not, we were discussing the ability to relate to it, and it's certainly there, even ignoring DIVORCE.
Guys, look! I found Atticus!
DELETE THAT SHIT
those are some long ass antennae
No, that's Owen Dennis
Nigga the Loud House fandom is so infamous I never tell anyone I watch that show because it's associated with the shit you find on /trash/ aka pedoshit
Where does the art of OP comes from? And why is Tulip dressed for summer?
That, or the Conductor turned him into a roachdog.
Maybe the other roachdogs were passengers that stepped out of line and being transformed into those things is their punishment.
...
The Voltron fandom became overrun with entitled fujoshits who threatened to kill each other over ships and I still enjoyed the ride. I realize this is forbidden knowledge on Yea Forums but you're allowed to enjoy things.
Alright, but you enjoy the show despite the fanbase right?
It actually startled me a bit. It was just quick enough across the screen that it wasn't immediately obvious, yet still registered in the side of my eyes and caught my attention.
Circular track?
This whole thing being the matrix or just a computer themed dream seems likely.
There was a nickname for them?! Like on the actual show? When was that? Is "Flex" is one of them?
No...he's gonna make it bros...he's a good man ;_;
Yes, the Flex.
Like the Fuzz.
Mirror Tulip a qt
F
Holy fucking based, best ending.
Unfortunately we can't do that without it being a Rixk and Morty reference
No
Really? I was thinking more The Simpsons when I made that post.
How long until someone draw them making out?
It probably has already happen
Would you make out with your chrome reflection?
Then why in God's name are you watching The Loud House?!
I don't anymore
Oh shit I didn't even notice. Wonder if that'll make searching for fanart easier...
>She reaches her house. Her front door is an exit door and she's still on the train
THE BUDDY SYSTEM
Even as a kid I realized how filthy and germ infested they were which really ruined any enjoyment I should have gotten
What's the appeal of a ball pit?
Why do children like them?
>THIS IS YOUR FAULT even though I never told you why you are here or that I didn't want you moving around or tell you why you should see my point of view
I hate when villains pull this shit.
It was only to pour guilt onto Tulip and make her more vulnerable.
nothing he said made sense, he was only able to see things from his perspective. Kinda like a narcissist
It will really be the biggest mind freak becaus it will mean that the whole universe exists as part of a train or maybe the whole universe is not real and it's just a tiny simulation
>nothing he said made sense
Exactly. He claims he is a conductor, but I don't see him conducting no train.
>The Conductor isn't the conductor
o shit
he's an electrical conductor
So is Tulip a vampire now, or..?
not until she stops barging into cars and eating onions
Yeah I know the villain is not supposed to right, but it just bothers me when villains pull the old "you MADE me do this evil thing" and the protagonist is actually guilted by it.
>Speak for yourself, if anything she's a little too relatable.
Same. Right down to being stuck in Wisconsin, ignoring messages from friends, and pretending I didn't hear when my mom was trying to tell me things I didn't want to hear.
...I was a bit shit, in hindsight.
Well, she's much bigger and stronger than a corgi, I'd feel pretty bad if I couldn't protect him too.
she watched her friends getting murdered, give her a break
Not him, but I can definitely relate with her feelings about her parents. Yes, the divorce, but as far as I can tell, she's as close to my feelings as I've seen with a show where it's come up. The low-key anger that can flame up at the slightest misstep, looking at the past with rose-tinted glasses... the only difference is I favored one parent, and it wasn't until after they died that I really stopped to look at who they truly were. Tulip's giving me some uncomfortable feels.
In this situation it would be proper since she did stupidly run away from home in sub-zero temperatures
i really like the sound direction in this series, good stuff. waiting for soundtrack.
She's like thirteen and on the heels of a divorce, which is common for kids to believe is their fault. In this situation I'd say it works because Tulip was already blaming herself for things she couldn't control. All the Conductor had to do was throw in some flimsy rationalizations.
>the only difference is I favored one parent
desu I kinda get a vibe that Tulip favors her dad over her mom.
how'd you figure? because she tucked him in that one time?
So far the show hasnt topped OtGW, but I've been really digging this ride so far, hopefully the final episodes stick the landing
>i didnt lead my people on a crusade, Only to cower before my dragon
>learns lesson about confronting uncomfortable truths
>immediately after hides her number with a glove
I'm pretty sure Tulip's parents did get divorced because of her, raising a special needs child adds a lot of additional burden.
It was always bothering me anyway wondering how Atticus was supposed to find his car again after Tulip finished her quest. Especially since he can't open doors on his own
I guess. It's probably because we've seen more scenes of her being around her mom, who she doesn't seem to like all that much. She probably would act the same around her dad. Come to think of it they didn't show any memories of her visitation stays with her dad in the static memories.
So what's the number on the hand mean?
My guess is that the turtle king will help atticus and have an envoy sent
we know she ignores his texts so they can't be that close
Mom also seems to constantly mention how much she works, leaving the dad to be the one spending more time with Tulip.
the amount of people having lewd thoughts about tulip
Wouldn't it be going up, then?
And it just keep decreasing....
good point
she also mentioned having fun fixing go-karts with dad
The number is supposed to become bigger then.
It started as the number of people having lewd thoughts about Tulip and someone is subtracted every time they ejaculate
Path of self actualization.
>"I am not attracted to this 13 year old"
>Sees exposed arms and legs

ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?
I mean, Chrome Tulip does look quite... male.
oh woah its out! my web browser just crashed halfway thru an episode of craig of the creek but i guess ill watch this instead. fuck i love cartoons.
>t.moohamhead
=the conductor's head look like a giant Taping dance shoe. There, I said it.
Why would a robot wear a blanket or cloak?
It is ashamed of its robofat.
Like with FLCL, sometimes it's best to just keep it nice and short, makes it more memorable.
Honestly, that just pushes Tulip to being even MORE relatable for me.
Something I'm hitting, though is I just... can't imagine dirty things with her. I'm I dig loli, she's even exactly where my age range burns brightest, but I CAN'T FUCKING LEWD TULIP! I just want to give her a pat on the shoulder, tell her everything is going to be alright, and give her my Mosin Nagant so she can put some 7.62×54mmR in the motherfucker that turned Atticus into a soul-sucker cockroach dog.
Perhaps you too are beginning to grow up.
That does not apply to this show.
>average social awkward dork
>what's so relatable about that?
>user asks, on a Yea Forums cartoons & comic board
Yeah, but I might have finally found a character that tugs my heartstrings instead of my crank. I'd even warn her about the bent bayonet that stabs the shit out of your hand if you don't hold Ivanna just right.
>This subpar animation
>Horrible pacing
>Unlikable protagonist
>Rehashed ideas
>Muh random xD
>Annoying sidekick
Jesus I hate that you guys convinced me to watch this.
It's kind of poking the same regions as OtGW for me. I take it you didn't enjoy Greg's antics, or its pace?
Why the fuck do you have a self-stabbing bayonet attached to your rifles?
I do relate to socially weird dorks, but not Tulip. She's just too generic.
I wanna have a daughter just like her.
> Unlikable protagonist
Are you insane or what?
>OH NO NO NO NO ANNEBROS
CUT OUT THAT SHIT
Haven't watched ant Amphibia episode, but this stupid show war the few of you are stirring is shitting things up for everyone.
It's more of a sentimental thing. I have the one Mosin Nagant carbine (18th birthday gift from my brother; he's also the dumbass that bent it.) Still shoots way more straight than it has any right to.
>Her only personality is "her parents are divorced" and nothing more
But that's completely false.
Normy Tulip is the best Tulip. Hide the programmer girl in a closet, it's time for a real human bean to solve le problemos like a grown responsible adult.
>He's just an average dorky girl socially awkard, I don't find nothing that haven't been done before in her personality.
What are you doing on Yea Forums?
...why would liking Amphibia make me want Infinity Train to flop? For that matter, why the same in regards to Twelve Forever and Owl House? Why are you forcing a tribalism meme when a bunch of good cartoons is a net gain across the board?
One-One is actually the true conductor
It was one particular case where she had rather good reasons to be upset at him.
I feel it tries too hard
>messed up the command
Hello new poster.
I disagree. It worked well so far.
Where will you be?
I challenge Yea Forums to make Owen mad. Nigga is sensitive af
>WHAT'S TULIP'S BRA SIZE????
Hot robots
HOT ROBOTS
This prove the point I made in a previous thread. The episodes are not bad or rushed, but the knowledge that there are only 10 episodes affect the perception of t and that it's already getting to an end when it's just starting to take steam make people feel like it's warping up too fast already.
>Does Tulip FUCK?
Why isn't Tulip black?
Not that user, but let me tell you that the reasons for that are:
1. Network marketing shill wrestling for more internet following clout and relevance presence.
2. Same reason why religious cult invade other regions and do unspeakable things, go to unthinkable lengths to insure its position in power by toppling off the others.
3. Like with sports clubs and religion, followers tend to acquire a fervent sense of aggressive cultist fanaticism that compels them to shit on others while gobbling up the shit fed to them by their club/cult leaders, who which further entice this behavior by fanning its fire in anyway it can.
>is tulip based off a high-school crush but idealized?
Was one of the Chrome Police Idris Elba?
So when is the next episode?
18 hours
Anne in the house!
Oh right, I forgot that Americans are living in the past and they're still having like Monday or something.
FIVE MINUTES
The passing is actually good, so far, it's just that knowing there is only 10 episodes made it feel a bit too short.
You say that like you aren't depending on America for the show
You say that like you're getting defensive like Monday is an insult or something.
You say like you're from the usa.
A freezer minute is like the equivalent of human year
The show really should be showing us rather than telling.
Feels like I'm skipping episodes
On pilot i thought number of car she had to help.
On acrual show what says. Number of stations until her destination, Goes down the more she grows as a person and deals better with her currect turmoil.
....They're doing an AMA before the last episode even airs? That strikes me as weird.
She was confronting the uncomfortable truth that she cannot control the number.
Just because it's a robot doesn't mean it doesn't have a personality or emotions. It obviously feels things. It's expressing itself.
>The show really should be showing us rather than telling.
It does. We always see they have been through plenty of trains.
>Feels like I'm skipping episodes
No matter how many episodes there would be, almost all of them would start with them leaving a Train where something we will never see happened, and end up with them going to a new train we will never see what they do in. Even with 100 of episodes, this would stil be a thing.
They are not meant to be episode of their own, they are just the normal intro and outro for a series like this.
>I don't like it and that's all I have to say
Thanks user. At least you're not blaming it on nonexistent budget problems or it's subjective inferiority to Amphibia.
Fact: children are the cause of most, if not all of the divorces. Yes, that means YOURS parent's divorce too, whoever is reading this post. It's your fault.
If you're on desktop you can select text and spoiler it with CTRL+S you're welcome.
This was pretty much Gumball when they decided to go with a Deepest Lore trap
so will they keep the dog dead also is the cat dead
The death could of had an impact if the show wasn't so rushed like man it need to be 20 episode at least
>is the cat dead
Naw, someone has to explain things in an info dump for the last few episodes.
There was zero mention of Divorce in neither of the tow episodes
What kind of person do you have to be to pre-emptively make complains, and then still post it despite it being not relevant at all?
>seven hours and one entirely different thread later
European time, I just woke up, watched the episode and caught up with the thread, I like to check the live reaction, as I am asleep during that time.
Why did the car Tulip woke up in seem so much like Wisconsin?
>Is Tulip a tranny?!
So can we safely say this show is a flop?
My guess was so she would feel "at home". I am starting to think the Train is actually a kind of "collector" thing.
>Does tulip wear white panties or black panties?
Tulip is not really a figther, she have been running away from everything that's dangerous
No. So far, it has been good overall. and the rating are good too.
seems like the cars are designed to best suit their occupants
That's probably why The Steward told her to return to her seat.
you can bet that most of the questions will be unanswerable trash
That's only in the pilot, though.
she does it in the series too
watch the episode
This show doesn't have enough fanarts.
I'll try to contribute when I catch up.
Like we keep saying, it's a flop. Everyone is going to forget it about it after it ends Friday night.
Here you go
>it's a flop.
It isn't.
Robots look like Blame.
where are her socks?
>pilot glasses done right
Good. I hate when people just draw two circles.
The messages are heavy-handed and the decision to make it a miniseries has squashed our dreams of plainly investigating cool train cars.
That being said, the former appears to be something that a lot of CN shows do to make sure that kids can meaningfully understand their message. It's obviously not a great choice, but it still does its job without completely sucking out the fun. The latter is probably just the showrunner getting carried away after seeing Over the Garden Wall. Taking a premise that's so clearly meant to be part of a season long episodic adventure is risky. As other people have pointed out, the show might not translate well to the new format. Although, I do believe Infinity Train's team has adapted the story well, or at least better than most people are implying.
depends how the finale goes, really
might be kino, might be a... trainwreck
>Parents never divorced because they were never married
Tulip fags BTFO
Imagine having divorced parents lmao
I want her to be my gf
>The latter is probably just the showrunner getting carried away after seeing Over the Garden Wall.
I think it's the opposite. I think he was afraid he wouldn't be able to sustain the show long enough and so kept himself to a limited amount of material too prevent the show to become stall due to lack of material.
Then again, there is a season 2 planned, so maybe Owen just want people to think episode 10is the show final so he can take them aback.
My brother never married his gf, that still made my nephew really sad when they separated.
>why you don't give her girlfriend?
Imagine if instead of a mini-series, you could trim this down into a 90-minute movie (kinda like what they did with OTGW one time)
Do you think that would fix the perceived pacing issues? Or I guess we'll just have to wait and see with the final episodes?
>a season 2 planned
are we talking another 10 episode miniseries, or a proper season cour?
this is literally the worst mewtwo fan-art.
CN is going to be marathonning the whole thing today, leading into the finale, so you could probably get a feel for it that way
>Imagine if instead of a mini-series, you could trim this down into a 90-minute movie (kinda like what they did with OTGW one time)
That's basically what it adds up to. I mean, it's basically 110 minutes instead of 90, but that's it.
we know nothing of season 2.
I say 90 because when CN did their movie-cut of OtGW they trimmed an episode or 2 (plus minor cuts here and there to get rid of title cards and stuff).
I never got a chance to see it so idk how well it flowed
So in other words, you (the people who do this thing) are just a bunch of shitholes who need to be removed from the gene pool cause they are peeing in it.
Good to know.
>So does Tulip support the 2nd amendment?
>when CN did their movie-cut of OtGW they trimmed an episode or 2 (plus minor cuts here and there to get rid of title cards and stuff).
I strongly object against doing that.
Now that I'm talking about it, I can't find any evidence of this even being a thing that happened so either someone can corroborate my memories or I'm just misremembering things from 5 years ago
>Why did you make Tulip a girl and not a boy?
but what does she eats?
Why is Tulip such a Mary Sue?.
I'mm rather hyped dor the finale. This last episode was rather intende. The saddest part of this alll wass tulip bever got to stay for the feast If 1000 chicken nuggets.
Conductors don't drive trains, engineers do. I don't expect the show to know that though so it'll probably be addressed later.
>This subpar animation
what? If this is subpar whats good to you?
>Muh random xD
man sure sucks when a story with a crazy and nonsensical setting is crazy and nonsensical. You must think Alice in Wonderlamd or Wizzard of OZ is Lol Random too.
>Conductors don't drive trains, engineers do.
Then what the FUCK does a conductor do?
Infinity Train insists upon itself.
>it was a dream bro
Wait...
Computer?
PAUSE!
FOCUS.
FOCUS.
ENHANCE
aw shit you cracked the case
goddamn tennis shoe was there all along
ENHANCE...
What if there never was a programming camp in Oshkosh but everything is a child friendly version of "a beautiful mind"? Everything what's happening seems weirdly connected to her parents divorce
Huh neat
Wonder what else in in the background? All I noticed on my own was the Stewardess's shadow both times on the Ball Pit Car
DAAAAAMMMMN....
IT WAS MOM ALL ALONG!
They...conduct
Like, they check for tickets, search for stowaways, provide information and keep some semblance of general order on the train. That's more or less their whole job.
Accepting that she cannot control the number is not the same as ignoring it. Whether the countdown is good or bad, or never resolves at all, the reality is that it's there on her fucking hand whether she looks at it or not.
Putting a filter over her memories didn't solve her problem, and she couldn't control her parents divorce just how she reacted to it. So it's kinda strange how she would put a glove over her hand and think it any different.
Well, now knowing this It seems like the robot frame was a recent addition. did it lose its ability to fly? Maybe it's damaged and the cloak cover the damages and the hasty job of jamming the robot frame to it.
1-1: Have you eaten our Bagel mom?
Conductor: No, I am your Bagel mom
G-1: NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
S-1: you look more like a Scone than a Bagel, tome.
Hence the chrome train episode where she learns to not ignore her problems.
So, could it be 1-1 is the engineers?
I thought that was what the Steward do. So what's the job of the Steward, then?
Is it true CN gave a warning, before episode 8?
I've never heard of trains having stewards, that's always been an airplane thing in my mind. Looking over Wikipedia I don't think that's a regional thing either. Conductors may have assistants if they're also doing stuff like selling food items from a cart or something, but that's about it far as I know.
To help the conductor. You can think of them as assistants.
But like pointed out, trains rarely have stewards. Usually there is only a conductor and they, most of the time, manage everything on their own.
At the doctor's office because fuck life.
>Motherfucker you should've made this a full series so this shit wouldn't feel so rushed.
>You could've had as many episodes as you wanted
>And you chose 10 because OtGW did it
>You did this to yourself
>Conductors don't drive trains, engineers do.
I can see Cat telling Tulip that.when the reunite.
Tulip will then ask her why didn't she tell her that and Cat will respond along the lines of "You never asked"
The numbers turns out is counting down till she is able to reach the Engineer not the Conductor.
I just realised that the weapon the Conductor is holding is meant to be a sort of Ticket Puncher.
>>And you chose 10 because OtGW did it
Not because of that, but because he didn't feel like he could do more.
It's just one guy pushing all this tribeshit because he's bored out of his shit.
That's just screams "The pilot was all I got. I had no intention on making this a show"
What's in the 69 cars?
Theory time:
the Steward is unable to hurt 1-1, like, it goes against its programming. But the Conductor want 1-1 destroyed, so he sent the cat after 1-1 and tell the Steward to aim at the cat instead, thinking 1-1 will be a collateral.
It's the only way that sequence of events make sense, to me.
I dunno ask owen today during the AMA.
>"The pilot was all I got. I had no intention on making this a show"
No, it doesn't. it simply mean, this is what I can do without compromising and sucking dry ideas. It means he know the limit of what he can do. do'nt try to paint it in a bad way.
It only started a few days ago.
Give it some time.
Just like how I wish Owen gave his series some more time.
What the fuck are those hands?
It's short enough to be bingewatched by everybody and their grandma.
The Conductor killed Cat out of spite for questioning his orders.
Tulip is sick of this shit and is abandoning her show for Amphibia.
She's from the platypus dimension
She touched a crystal.
But he old it to go fetch that robot.
He was probably going to crush One-One right in front of Tulip, but got sick of all this shit when Cat started giving him lip.
It's the number of people not having lewd thoughts about her.
I was actually thinking of watching Amphibia until these faggots started shitting up the board and these threads with how much better their show is than everything else. Now I hate it and can't imagine ever giving the show a chance.
That was fast.
Be better than that, user. reacting like that is exactly what those show-war morons want.
That's why you don't let fandoms or other people in general affect your opinion of a show.
Give it an honest shot, and if you still don't like it after that, then that's fine.
At least dislike the show on its own shortcomings.
What makes you think they sincerely like Amphibia? The same people are probably posting "Infinity Train is better" in some other thread.
I'm positive it's just one guy pulling the strings on both sides.
She is mutating as well.
You don't expect a show set entirely on a train to know what a train conductor is?
Nooooo
Is that a show or a movie?
seeThe conductor literally has a card puncher as a weapon. they know what a conductor is.
A live TV series on Netflix.
He's gonna come back. Like the Woodsman's daughter did in OTGW.
gone. her feet are bare.
So fast they didn't even bother drawing the hands.
Is there lewd art of Tulip yet? Lewd fanfic?
