This month is the 15th anniversary of this series. Let's have a thread about it.
Most of the episodes are available on youtube and all are up on most cartoon sites to the best of my knowledge.

Loved it. along with Game Over (I think that's what it was called?) it was really underrated and super funny, even if neither one looked super great. Not a fan of Dreamworks style. But lions in general are always cool, and I appreciated how they looked like animals more or less.
It's ashame the premise is too dated to work now that the animation would be considerably cheaper. It cost something like 1.4 million dollars to make each episode, but now that production costs are affordable, the actual subject matter doesn't really exist.
Actually that could be even funnier
a show about the stars of animal stage shows now that nobody wants to watch that shit or go to stage shows, and peta fucks are probably picketing them anyway, and all they want to do is perform and eat big fucking chunks of horse meat but they're outta work and might get sold to a sanctuary or someshit, and they don't want that..
and maybe a recurring character is a local drug dealer's tiger who keeps escaping...
Sigfrieud and Roy were the only good characters on the show. They were hilarious.
remember their terrible cartoons?
You mean this?
youtu.be
that was it
Only thing I remember about this series was the Donkey cameo.
I actually had no idea that they had a cartoon like that. It looks okay I guess was it really that awful? Looks like something Yea Forums would circlejerk to.
by today's standards it's fine actually
at the time it was like FFFFFF
>by today's standards it's actually fine
We'll now I'm sad. I've been watching the first episode and it looks like something I would have loved as a kid.
>the real Roy got mauled by a tiger a few months before this was going to premiere
>but they already had the shows halfway done, CG was expensive back then, it'd be a massive waste not to finish them
yeah this was a trainwreck from the start
dont forget the grampa was carl reiner
he was fantastic
Fun enough show, and I don't even like CGI much.
Hunter was cute
oh yeah, he was
that was a rarity back then, a little brother who was actually not just an irritating brat
the teenage daughter felt really pleasant too. I wanted to be her teen lion boyfriend.
Siegfried and Roy were fun but the rest of it was whatever.
Her boyfriend was also a father
oh yeah that's ringing a bell.
just realized I don't know that I ever actually rewatched this.
And a vegan for some God forsaken reason
that's such a joke from back then
people talk about it being important to have the freedom to joke about anything you want, but it's hard to feel comfortable joking about something you're in danger of being affected by. It's just not funny anymore, it's sad.
I never realised how adult this show actually was when I was young
Why couldn't they just make a season 2 or release a blue ray
Kino
Happy anniversary
One of the actual trainer's this show was based on was mauled by a tiger a couple of months into production, so it was in really poor taste to begin with
I mean they did give the show their blessing and didn’t want the incident to put it down, but the fact that dwa was putting in a movie-tier budget per episode meant nothing less of an instant smash hit was going to keep it going.
daily reminder that the creator of this is also the creator of the SOPA law
I had the dvd
