Basically he was a friend of a young boy who wanted someone to teach him to play basketball. They went up against another kid and his imaginary friend who was bigger than Wilt. Will’s arm and eye were crushed in a move that lost him the game. So he ran away after feeling he let his kid down.

Yes, he was the best character.
It's good but in hindsight I expected it to be somehow more tragic since a lot of this concept art really gives off "homeless forgotten veteran" vibes.

He wasn't so bad in the first season. I don't know why they made him so insufferable in the later ones.

I guess the idea was they wanted him to represents Mac's Id but the problem is they went way to far and most of the time was going AGAINST Mac.

If they wanted to make Bloo the Id to Mac's Ego then what they should've done was make Bloo mischievous that convince Mac to get in trouble but always did stuff that he thought would help Mac and always had his back. Instead Bloo was just a selfish cunt that treated everyone, especially Mac, like dirt.
