Big Hero 6

>everything is getting sequels
>superhero craze at its height
>pic related only got a TV show

What happened? Why did we never get a sequel, or an entire movie franchise?

I'm guessing the directors and producers couldn't just come up with any ideas worthy of a second movie.

I don't mind, though. The superhero genre is best suited to serialized storytelling.

I would argue Superhero craze it's on the start of it's decline.

It should be a tv series and not a sequel so I'm happy with that
Don't know what it doesn't get discussed more here. Suppose since the mc isn't a little girl people want to fuck

We're at a point where, while the superhero craze is ongoing, only DC and Marvel stuff seems to survive. Probably why the Stretch Armstrong Netflix series barely got any views or attention.

No, BH6 is technically not Marvel anymore.

lmao I just had a thread deleted cause it wasn't some cunny thread (or whatever the word is for 2D cunnies). The absolute state of mods

>Don't know what it doesn't get discussed more here

Because the cartoon series is BAD. Cheap ugly angular art style, which also goes with low quality animation. That automatically makes the show UN-pleasant to look at by default.

The plots in the episodes are generic and just nothing special. Also if we're honesty Big Hero 6's film was very boring. It was a snorefest and most of the characters are uninteresting and meh. It did NOT deserve to win the Award that it did (even if the award is a joke).

Big Hero 6 is just not a good property in general. That's why no one cares about it in particular and you don't see it discussed very much.

Don't worry though Amphibia generals, tribe threads and two Star Vs generals are allowed because they are cunny shows

>Big Hero 6 is just not a good property in general. That's why no one cares about it in particular and you don't see it discussed very much.
The characters were meh but I really liked the setting, felt like a very well realized modern take on a world where superheroes can exist, it had a lot of potential. I'd rather have anthological stories set in the universe than a long running story.

funny because a lot of people wanted/wants to fuck Hiro (seriously, he has more porn than everyone else in the team, and to make it worse a lot of porn of him involves his brother too)

>whatever the word is for 2D cunnies
loli?

Frozen came out a year earlier, made about twice it's revenue, and is just now getting a sequel. The correct answer is that despite doing good at the box office it probably didn't move that much merch and no one really has script treatments for a sequel, so one isn't going to happen unless Disney pushes it, and given the incredibly long lead-in times for animated films even if Disney did push it, you'd be looking at 2020 at the earliest.

I take it you bailed early on in season one?

How? a superhero movie just became the highest grossing of all time

It's all downhill from here

It wasn't good

Which is weird because you'll see everyone mention Gogo or Honey Lemon or Aunt Cass, you won't see Hiro mentioned that often in sexualized posts. Plus that incest thing was almost entirely Japanese based, I haven't seen western support for it

>and to make it bettere a lot of porn of him involves his brother too)
ftfy

All we needed.

Do you like that ass better in her 3d or 2d look?

Mediocre movie but a good cartoon.
Biggest problem is that the premise is very emotionally motivated (death of Tadashi) but the emotional connections of the characters aren’t very fleshed out.

Even when they show the characters hanging out, it is usually swiftly interrupted by villains. The scene of Honey and Wasabi trying to manage the cafe was more interesting than many of the recurring goon takedowns.

Also the art and animation is fine, Christ Yea Forums is retarded.

In some cases a show is actually better than a sequel movie. Tangled the series is the best example. The story they're telling in that couldn't be condensed into 90-120 minutes

One of the characters I have a porn folder devoted to is Hiro Hamada

People watched Big Hero 6 in 2014 because it was another Disney movie, but they didn't care for it as a franchise. I stuck with it because I think the setting is interesting and the cute Asian tomboy is cute. I haven't been keeping up with the cartoon though, dropped off a few episodes before the end of the first season.
>TFW the teaser trailer made you think the movie was gonna be cyberpunk as fuck.
>Disney's actual cyberpunk dystopia movie ended up being RBTI.

2D is where it really shows off

Avengers: Endgame may have been the peak of the superhero genre. I don't think superhero movies will die out, but they won't be as big as they used to be.

>2D is where it really shows off
can confirm, god damn do the bh6 cartoon crew love there gogo ass shots.

>Only one Gogo pic the whole thread
Booooo!

Also, second half of season 2 when?

No sequel? Do Big Hero 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 not count?

Big Hero 6? More like Big Hetero Sex!

>Also, second half of season 2 when?
we still don't know but it got cleared for an s3 that began production before season 2 started broadcasting. so probably fall.

Bitchin.
I finally binged through the series after finally watching the movie a couple months ago. But now I’m stuck waiting for it to start back up

I believe September is what they said, that's when Ducktales comes back at least

Ironically, most BH6 porn is gay shota.

Man.

The original marvel comic is weird.

Like... I can understand why they didn't want to do movie synergy... but I guess they can't use them either, huh?

September. They're airing several new episodes in a row again.

>September 3 - "Write Turn Here"
>September 4 - "City of Monsters, Part One"
>September 5 - "City of Monsters, Part Two"
>September 6 - "Mini-Maximum Problem"
>September 9 - "El Fuego"
>September 10 - "The Globby Within"
>September 11 - "Hardlight"

>El Fuego
I can't wait for Big Hero 6 to deal with a drug lord

Discussion picked up a bit with the inflation episode

Apparently, he's a luchador voiced by Horatio Sanz.

We're also getting Supersonic Sue's grandson, Stu, an acrobatic thief named Sirque, and according to leak user, a video game-themed villain.

>The Globby Within
oh no- this is gonna be heart breaking..

Which is a damn shame.
>Aunt Cass
>Honey Lemon
>GoGo
>Majority of porn is Tadashi X Hiro

Here’s hoping things pick up for it later.

>ugly angular art style
is this bizarro Yea Forums??

>Which is a damn shame
not for me

If they'd just keep the incest out I wouldn't mind
But having the vast majority be something shit like that makes the lack of good porn with the girls all the worse

>>September 3 - "Write Turn Here"
In which Karmi publishes her lewd fanfictions and becomes a bestseller

I’d read it

What kinks do you think she'd include?

If only. It's about Hiro writing a short story for school about his time with BH6.

We might get some Karmi fanfic stuff soon, though.

The darkest of the dank
Copious unprotected handholding

I’m just hoping we get more time with the dean in the second half.

I want to see her interacting and supporting the team. She just kind of...vanished after smothering them at the start of the season

>It's about Hiro writing a short story for school about his time with BH6
Wait I thought the point of his identity is to keep it secret?

Firendly reminder BH6 is Pocahontas, while Frozen is The Lion King.

My guess would be it'll be about some kind of personal life growth or challenges and he'll struggle to write about the experiences as a superhero without outing himself directly

Pocahontas never got an animated series though i checked, lion king got sequels and multiple series, lion king really doesn't work in this situation because frozen doesn't have an animated series either, it was included in a live action thing, there go if anything frozen is more directly comparable to pocahontas.

You'd suck as a light source.

I've got enough glow sticks and headlamps to make myself look brighter than an airfield runway, you vastly underestimate my power.

Pretty much. Also, if Granville gives him the assignment, it makes sense. It would only go to her, and she already knows about them.

So is there any other episode descriptions out there?

They really are out for gingers huh

Attached: 1565337894751.jpg (482x700, 82K)

I don't mind. The series gives a lot more material to play around.

>Name is literally NO ginger
>duurrrrr where's de ginger doe

It just wasn't very good

Not great

Thanks for the high-effort responses!

Nigga broke his left ankle and doesn't gives two shits damn

Wasabi ? No, Nigger

Little kids can be surprisingly flexible.

Shhh! Chinese are spying!

>What happened? Why did we never get a sequel, or an entire movie franchise?
What do you do with an IP that's universally regard as "just OK"?

>September 11 - "Hardlight"
This is the only one that's vague to me. More sci-fi technology?

Maybe someone develops Danger Room type holograms?

That, or advanced Star Trek-style energy shields.

>>superhero craze at its height

people don't like stereotypical superhero shit (like Superman). Marvel is at least making different characters so people are watching.

Are Marvel writers banned from using the comic book version of the characters? Do they think normies will find it confusing?

Attached: JUL120594_1._SX360_QL80_TTD_.jpg (360x553, 78K)

Marvel basically ceded all control of the team to Disney.

He's gotta be like that to be a superhero
Even nerds can have that athleticism

Wreck-It Ralph was the first theatrical Disney cartoon to get a sequel, and that primarily due to product placement sponsorships more than anything else. Frozen is getting one because it was their first true international sensation in a long time. It was never on the table for BH6, just be glad it got a decent show.

No, that was The Rescuers.
