Maybe it's just me but I always felt like John K was the oringal 2000's edgy high school kid. All of his shows are like these horrible deconstuctions of classic cartoons where the entire joke is just to be as gross and valgur as possible. It's like his entire style is based off all all the don'ts in both writing and animation.

john.k is such a mess without professionals propping him up and suggesting he make changes. ever since the motherfucker got fired all his work has a stunning lack of differing input. his method of storytelling and his sense of humor wears thin. he cannot carry anything by himself

For someone that's all about "perfectionism" and has always been criticized for his dictatorial approach to storyboard artists...Why does the 2D look bad here? There are bits were it looks great (specially on the nephew's reaction after opening the can) but there's bits with obvious tweening, frames that have lag as if they were made in an outdated flash program and there are often perspective problems during close-up.

I've seen a lot of local Kickstarters that were really just people asking for a few thousand to renovate the library or a few hundred to redecorate their restaurant. I'd imagine that most of the small ones work out just fine. I just don't get why they actually opened the can, for something called "can without labels", I expected 10 minutes of georges telling stupid stories to raise the hype to the kids, doing weird faces, menacing the kids and all, and then at the very end it's just something boring and game over. That current story doesn't really need to be called "cans without label", at all.
