It's actually always been awful.
The entire cast of diverse woke legacy characters all failed on their own, and slapping them all together just created an even larger bundle of failure.

Riri has her own book, and it's pretty good too.

Ewing was on board with his plans for Riri, (especially her and Viv) and Ironheart isn't bad so that wouldn't be a bad choice if Zub has to be gone.

Riri's ongoing is one of the worst comics Marvel is currently putting out.

Not really, but again you hate it on principle, it's actually surprising how well written it is and Eve Ewing's strategy of making every issue as standalone as possible while having an overarching story. What I didn't like was how nobody chimed in to support him on that, because at least it wouldn't have looked like the ravings of a madman. It was such a lame, cliched arc. It wasn't even fun cliched, it was predictable.

Marvel really tried to push Weirdworld again, but just devolved it into a generic fantasy world.

It was Zub flexing his D&D interests while exploring Weirdworld, referencing plenty of stuff in it and using it in his favor, while giving each of the Champions a distinct personality and look in the dimension.

That was a good read.
This series is one of the closest thing of a good classic super hero team book I've read in years.
But idiots will hate it because

Probably Ultron. That's been being built up to since the last volume and since this volume got cancelled, Zub only has 2 issues left to finish up all the lingering plots. Which are a lot, unfortunately, so barring a Scarlet Spider-style final issue where everything just hits the fan at once, a lot of things will probably have to be left unresolved.
