Man Redondo's art here is pretty inconsistent compared to his time on Injustice for some reason. I didn't even realize it was him until an user pointed it out.

Maybe because he doesn't have he usual inker anf colorist. During Injustice he collaborators were always Juan Albarrán as inker and Alejandro Sánchez as colorist so his art shined because of them, here he's both penciller and inker, while Hi-Fi is the colorist so it doesn't work as well as it should.

I's easier to think of the current JL run as a spiritual successor to the Justice League Unlimited cartoon. Pretend everything is a saturday morning cartoon that episodically follows a vague and nebulous Legion of Doom scheme, and everything will start to make sense.

Between this and the Superman family scene a few issues ago this run officially blows Hitch and Johns runs out of the water. This book is really good for modern Snyder.

This run started off slow, but the arc with the new forces was good and everything after Hawkworld was great with the Superpunch being fucking kino. I feel like it might derail somewhere along the lines during YotV, but it'll be a fun ride til then. Also, Drowned Earth was fucking trash and I hate it.
