I think it's technically true but also not what Rose wanted to do in the first place. I think she understood that a hybrid was needed to bridge the gap between the two worlds and end all the fighting and break the Diamond's system.

This isn't true in the slightest; the gem is needed for the "info" (or DNA) of the parent to be transferred into the child as gems are just projections. Anyone who says Pink is a bad parent (or bad person) is so disgustingly misinformed it makes me want to puke.

About what? Being Pink? The people who fought in the rebellion hated the diamonds, and she knew this; she didn't blame them. She wanted them to have free will and not be under the rule of the diamonds, or have people be terrified of her like so many were in regards to the diamonds. She never even wanted to be one.

This would've happened regardless. Anyone who acts *ahem* ""out of line"" gets shattered, rebellion or not. She tried to save them, and explicitly told her side to not shatter anyone. If the diamonds did figure out, they would be shattered still to not only get rid of them, but to "teach Pink a lesson".

I'm not defending this, it's the worst thing she's done, but I can't blame her. It's difficult to be reminded of tragic pasts, and it was more in the heat of the moment. Like it would matter anyway, they wanted to leave their old lives behind.

What, you realize that bubbling doesn't equal killing right? Bismuth wanted to shatter gems, something the CGs were against wholeheartedly, and Rose put a stop to it. Her lying was a coping mechanism often used in abusive households; she was afraid of being tormented for rightfully bubbling someone with extremely dangerous and murderous thoughts.

Again, what? This doesn't even make any sense, she had no idea homeworld was coming back and had no idea they even cared anymore; she just wanted Steven to be a human who went through change as well as grew.

Venomous has a pretty good excuse (if you think about it, training K.O. is his roundabout way of making sure his son is strong enough that no one will ever "abandon" him). Pink? Eh.

Boxman even complained about Venomous revealing the truth because he thought they were going to torment KO with it for at least another season.
