They've only got regular Darkvision rather than Superior, and lose their Fae Magic spells, though with the Way of the Shadow, I get a whole bunch at level 3 using Ki to activate.

Everyone in this story is incredibly unlikable outside of the DM/villain. He needs better friends because he is forced to play with people that dont take the game seriously, no wonder hes the villain to them because hes the only one actually excited about playing and living in a fantasy world. The players themselves make their experience miserable. This whole book is pretentious as hell and the issue that is critical of Tolkien is extra garbage. Gillian will never be a quarter of the writer and world builder Tolkien was.
