>Scottish Bruce Wayne
Other than that, it looks great.
Is Dick seriously still Robin?
IT actually feels like a Titans show now
looks better than expected, but Bruce Wayne's accent... I don't know about that
>from the producers who brought you Arrow, Ryan Reynolds as Green Lantern, Star Trek Discovery, and Batman & Robin
Yeah. No thanks.
>that Bruce wayne
Anyway, I'm excited for it. S1 was far better than it should have been and was quite cheaply made. Hopefully because it was well received DC have put some more money into it.
wtf user, video no longer available due to a copyright claim. It's like DC doesn't want to put this out.
Why did you copy your comment from Yea Forums?
That's pretty cringy and autistic.
ladderbro is a Yea Forums company warring crossboarder

I don't know who that is.
Like like coming to Yea Forums as a chaser to wash the gross tastes of Yea Forums away.

Sigh...
Couldn't they have dyed Jorah's hair (or better yet, made him wear a wig) and made him at least pretend to sound american? The cuck memes, they burn.
Slade seems a lazy choice, and a bad fit for a Titans team that isn't actually made of teens, and instead has Nightwing, Superboy, Aqualad, and Wonder Girl on it. Especially when they have been almost constantly establishing that Deathstroke can be beaten by solo heroes (like Ollie). Nightwing can take him... which leaves who for the metas?
Other than that it looks pretty great and I'm looking forwards to it. I've enjoyed all these DCU shows so far. The MCU may have 'won' the cinematic stuff, even if I like both and don't see it as a competition, but DC is really putting some love into these shows.
Agreed.
Only way I can see it working is if Slade is either a fakeout for the actual antagonist, or if he pulls out some chunni anime shit where he died, was possessed by a demon, but then turned the tables on the demon and now has a huge fuck you power level.
If you squint he kind of looks like Adam West
>Slade seems a lazy choice, and a bad fit for a Titans team that isn't actually made of teens
I imagine he was the main enemy of the original Titans team. My guess is he killed one of them and that's why they split up
That or an older Ben Affleck.
>This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Warner Bros. Entertainment / DC Entertainment.
Mirror?
Doctor Light looks terrible. Hope it's like his prototype suit, like he just made the tech, gets beaten, comes back stronger in season 3.
Not bad. Looks better than Season 1 at the very least.
Looks better than season one but still pretty rough. What's up with Jorah's accent not being hidden in the slightest?
>dat Donner Troy
My fucking Ric
>Elderly Scottish Batman
>T-Shirt Superboy
>Cylon Deathstroke
This dumpster fire just doesn't want to go out.
Batman got cucked and never got his dragon pussy so he committed himself to a never ending war on crime?
Is the Robin in this pic Dick or Jason?
Dick. It's a flashback to the original Titans.
>Slade seems a lazy choice
Slade is literally the most iconic villain for the Titans franchise.
>and a bad fit for a Titans team that isn't actually made of teens, and instead has Nightwing, Superboy, Aqualad, and Wonder Girl on it.
Now this is just fucking stupid. So what if they're not teens.
>B-but solo heroes beat him!
That's nothing but pure powerlevel wank. Meaningless. They can just make Slade in the show be that good that he's formidable adversary. And considering how the show is very grounded, that's not even that fucking hard to accomplish.
You seem to be just looking for an argument user, so I'll keep it brief. Slade has been heavily downgraded in his portrayals, almost to the point of being a joke, in recent years. My point about them not being teens is that each of them is an established hero that could generally handle a lightly-enhanced mercenary like Wilson pretty handily. Your final point isn't really even a point; it's just a silly throwing out out of the concept that if a martial artist who can shoot arrows gud can kick his ass, then he isn't a threat that Wonder Girl or fucking SUPERboy should need a whole team backing them up to deal with.
We got to see just what Wonder Girl is casually capable of last season, and frankly, it's totally outside a street level villains paygrade. We even got to see what it looks like when Dick tries to follow/keep up. Things being grounded works both ways. It makes the supers look even more super.
>My point about them not being teens is that each of them is an established hero that could generally handle a lightly-enhanced mercenary like Wilson pretty handily.
And it's a stupid point because depending on the book and writer, Slade can either be super-duper competent, or a jobber. He's a villain, who is as competent as the plot needs him to be. Powerlevel wank doesn't matter, especially when Slade's interaction with Titans usually revolve around schemes and not direct one-against-all confrontations, because Slade is also a tactician and not a generic rush and smash bad guy.
>T-Shirt Superboy
Someone will fall for this bait
So they fixed Slade a little in post, but still: why give him Deadshot's eye? People already confuse them as it is.
>this actually looks pretty great
The sad pathetic state of DC fans
Also
>Bruce Wayne stealing Halle Berry's accent from the first X-Men movie
Well if you saw it you would definitely know why
It's DC's cheapest show and the most like a CW show so it's going to be safe for a long time
Didn't that show just ended like 2 months ago?
And the new season starts in 4 weeks already?
If by "2 months ago" you mean last December then yes
fucking hell. time really flies
They seem to be doing the right thing by ignoring a plot that was off the rails and taking the show 180.
Never thought Jason would be the best part of anything, but here we are
>this trash gets a second season but Swamp Thing doesn't
What?

>Its not all blue filtered
Is...this what hope feels like?
Jason's so fun. It would have been easy to make him purely an edgy asshole or annoying but they got it right by making him just a lovable asshole who loves what he does. I hope he doesn't get crowbar-ed yet.
What about the shit with Trigon, it's not even mentioned
Raven gets her gem so Trigon probably fucks off in 2 episodes or so
Seems like a dumb thing to hype up on a cliffhanger then.
Season 1 got cut short
Don't worry bro DC has got your back
Cliffhanger ending was entirely fine. Immediately got you excited for S2
So Aqualad got merc'd by Slade right? Most of the shots he's in seem like flashbacks
>gets you hyped for a villain that disappears in two episodes
Is this show written by TWD writers?
Will Titans be on HBO Max like Doom Patrol? I've been regretting my DCU subscription since it doesn't even have the DCEU movies.
Jason's the one who says 'Titans are back, bitches!'
No they don't want that garbage
>...this actually looks pretty great
Why do you tell these lies on the internet?
I'd rather have Shazam and Aquaman than most of the shit on DCU.
Raven looks bad
Titans season 1 was supposed to be 13 episodes, but was cut down to 11. An episode early on was cut up and merged with surrounding episodes, while the actual season finale was moved to the start of season 2. Hence why the season finale we got didn't feel like a season finale at all.
Trigon will probably be defeated in the first episode of season 2.
I want to marry the girl who's playing Donna
Why were the original Titans never mentioned in S1?
Was the first season even remotely good? Can anyone post some action webms? Decent action is the bare minimum I ask from a superhero show.
It's surprising entertaining.
It's not very good. Only the Jason episode and the Hawk and Dove episodes were passable, rest was fucking trash
Wait, is that Iain Glen as Bruce Wayne?
Everyone here is pretty identifiable, even as a filthy casual DCfag, except the guy on the right with blue pants. Is that Aqualad or whatever? They didn't port over the black one from the cartoon?
I've enjoyed Doom Patrol and Young Justice but season 1 of Titans didn't really do it for me. Maybe this season will be an improvement.
Didn't even bother watching Swamp Thing after the cancellation got announced
It's Garth Aqualad the Atlanthean, not Kaldur Aqualad the spawn of Manta
Not really
Yes it is
You didn't miss anything
Is that the same house as the Smallville Lex mansion and X-Mansion?
It's really shocking how good Jason's episode was, especially in comparison to the rest of the show. Felt like it was written by an entirely different team
Doom Manor too
that deadshot eye doesn't even make sense, isn't slade missing that eye?
>Yes it is
He's amazing, I may have to watch this now.
I thought the finale of season 1 was Batman vs. Robin though?
Isn't that Alfred?
I just can't stand the tone and the direction they established in S1. It's so inauthentic and pointlessly edgy. I'll stick with Doom Patrol.
>geoff johns
>geoff's batman
It will be shit. Doom Patrol was the only good show.
Why couldn't they get someone younger?
>Titans are back bitches!”
Turned it off right there. Stop hyping this disaster of a show.
Nothing I saw convinces me that it will be an improvement over the disappoining season 1. Too much cringe, too much awkward dialogue, too much fake drama.
Nah, it ended a few years in the future where Dick gave up on Raven and had a son with Dove. Rachel and Gar went to college together. Kori joined a special task force and Batman went insane. Dick finally was about to kill Batman when it turns out Dick was still in the present, being mentally fucked by Trigon via Raven to make him embrace evil.
Sounds pretty good. Thanks for the summary.
>The cop be like 'wtf why can't you not be annoying like the first Robin? Why don't Batman just smack u upside the head u annoying lil shit'
The trailer has been officially released:
youtube.com
The quality is way better.
>Deathstroke at the end
I'm hyped, but also disappointed we're doing Nu52-Red eyed Slade.
>Robin, Hawk, Dove
Kino suits as always
>Donna
Fucking smokeshow of a woman
>Garth
Chris Hemsworth-looking motherfucker got the OG Aqualad suit, am not let down.
>Conner
Welp he may or may not disappoint. All we need next is an actor Iain's age to play Supes in season 3.
>Kori, Rachel, and Gar
Still don't get proper uniforms.
>Jason
Best boy, hopefully becomes Conner's BFF, that spinoff would be kino.
Why are Hawk and Dove on the team, aren't they in their 30s?
Because it's not TEEN Titans, just Titans
Still seems weird for middle aged adults to be on a team with teenagers and middle schoolers.
Looks a fuck of a lot better than season 1
desuarchive.org
kill yourself ladderbro
I want Conor Leslie and Minka Kelly to each slap me in the face and be astonished that it gave me a boner.
Theres some good, but the rest is so bad its good.
>take out the defining feature of the franchise
bravo
so there will be a project cadmus arc, also maybe lex
>hating on tshirt connor
Mercy Graves is appearing in S2, and there's allegedly been leaks that there IS a ongoing casting for Lex Luthor, but in the meantime he'll be in the shadows.
Honestly since Iain doesn't look bad as Bruce, we need an actor around his age for the inevitable appearance of Clark.
Jason as a hyper gen Z asshole is such a weirdly amazing character choice. I don't even want Red Hood at this point just keep him as Robin.
How old is Curran compared to Brenton? I swear it feels like a legit generational difference.
Also, Dick gets a new Robin suit to train Jason with...I guess...was hoping for Nightwing tho.
Jason has always been the annoying next generation that serves only to remind you that you are getting old, and the robin that you knew and grew up with is now an adult with responsibilities.
>Khalisei....please....one crumb of pussy
so what earth is this?
like how close to the main DCU is this earth?
Why is Dick Robin and not nightwing?
>>T-Shirt Superboy
whats the problem
Brenton Thwaites is 29 while Curran Walters is 21 so there's a fair age difference between them.
I assume the Robin vs. Robin scene is part of Trigon messing with Dick.
Fuck it's going to be forever until Doom Patrol S2. There's this, Harley Quinn, and Stargirl still to go.
It probably enhances the age gap that Brenton is married with a kid, while going by his Instagram being mostly shitless selfies Curran is still in his fuckboy period.
>like how close to the main DCU is this earth?
It's hard to say, since we see things almost exclusively from the Titans POV but it seems pretty close to Earth-0. The Justice League exists, sidekicks are a thing and known each other, Themyscira and magic exist, organizations like Cadmus exist...
>Why is Dick Robin and not nightwing?
Dick's arc in season one was him trying to get past Batman's influence on him and moving on; he thought he was becoming too much like him, especially his negative traits.
He technically wasn't Robin but he wore that suit when he needed to since it was the only one he had. He ends up burning it when he lets go and moves on towards his own identity.
He'll almost certainly fully become Nightwing this season.
I have never understood why companies spend money and resources, to find and delete their own promotional material made, paid for, and produced to promote their products.
Sounds really counter productive to me.
It just looks less terrible. In no way not terrible.
>titans are back biiitcheeess ! !
>oooooOOOOOOHHH!!
>beastboy
>starfire
But I admit it looks way better than season 1.
In Trigon's nightmare world for Dick, Jason got cripples and is in a wheelchair
It'll be Superman to replace Supergirl. Supergirl currently holds the worst ratings and replacing her with Superman would be cost effective since they can utilize similar techniques for CG and crew.
True but he could change it at any time (like he did several times in the finale), especially if he or Raven fight back.
>But I admit it looks way better than season 1.
That's not much of a bar
Weirdly I think compared to S1 I feel like it has way too much going on.
>S1 was boring, dull mystery pseudo-horror about Raven
>S2 will have Batman, Deathstroke, Superboy (Cadmus?), Doctor Light on top of Trigon cliffhanger
I didn't like S1 at all, but I am still in the mood to see it succeed. I just hope they took criticism to heart and learnt from Doom Patrol.
Or, y'know just introduce Steel since he was a far more interesting character than either. Hell Black Lightning opened up the door for him to headline his own show.
Hell make it be like how Batwoman is - Superman and Supergirl both happened to disappear, John Henry Irons was at least a friend of Clark's and so began making a suit designed to be emulative of Superman but all John's raw intelligence.
No thanks.
Yeah that’s kinda weird, I thought this was the formation of the first titans
I mean Supes is probably relegated to guest appearances for a reason, and outside of Kara and Conner (Who's currently being used for Titans) He doesn't have much of a supporting bunch of characters that could make an interesting show.
They can do Natasha and John, but that'd be a carbon copy of Jeff and his daughters
They're not mentioned but we did see a picture of Hank, Dawn, Dick and Donna together.
It was definitely due to movies, now that the grip of what can't be used because movies are using them has definitely loosened, Titans are getting Batman and it doesn't mean it's the same Batman as the one Batwoman stealing is from.
>Doesn't have much a supporting cast
Flamebird, Thorn, Gangbuster, Strange Visitor, hell even just a Martian Manhunter spinoff would work well.
maybe the going for "that's how he loses his eye" angle
I want Donna to crush my balls and call me weak for getting soft from the pure trauma she inflicts on them, then it gets me fucking diamonds.
>Minka Kelly is almost 40
Dont think I like Jorah Mormont as Bruce Wayne, hes a bit too old and small.
somebody's gotta train the kids and why not the worst fated couple since hawkman and hawkgirl
Donna is best girl.
Martian Manhunter is probably what the 2020 show will be, unless they get the balls to use Cassie Sandsmark in a Wonder Girl series...or Mia becomes Arrowette
Maybe she'll actually go nude again for Titans.
>Ravager has her eye plucked out
>Slade may have two eyes still
Slade's going full Pei Mei! I like it
All I remember from Season 1 was that Hank's body is so damaged from his vigilante career he can't get it up and then Dawn fucked Dick instead...Dick who's body should've been even more fucked up due to dealing with people like Bane, Scarecrow, Killer Croc, and the Joker.
I don't think you understand the nature of Hank's damages. If Bane assraped Dick as a child he would've been the Oracle.
>If Bane assraped Dick as a child he would've been the Oracle.
nah, he would've been calling into Gotham Loveline every night in tears begging for Adam and Dr. Drew to help him with his asshole the size of a mason jar
Given the talk about training and whatnot, I see S2 ending with Dick becoming Nightwing and eventually leaving the team, still recurring though, and see the team becoming like this in S3
-Jason Todd/Robin
-Conner Kent/Superboy
-Garfield Logan/Beast Boy
-Rachel Roth/Raven
-Maybe Koriand'r/Starfire, assuming they don't kill her off for shock value.
All I remember was the goofy ass death scene for Don and Dawn's mom
It felt like a youtube parody or something
Wasn't Cyborg supposed to be in this season?
I really hope we get Bruce's reaction to Jason Photobombing a live news broadcast in broad daylight.
Based on the age alone, and aside from the Dick Knightmare in the last season, I wonder if this version of Bruce is more Batman Beyond with his Robin or TDKR in a "I will sit in this tank, you go annoy [x]" way
I don't know. I think Bruce with an scottish accent is weirdly hot.
It's a hot accent, desu.
He's a hot grandpa.
It all makes sense.
fuck this show
he looks like a young Geoff Johns
lol :)
What a horrible episode.
That would explain why Jason's gets to drive the Batmobile if he's retired.
Tell me more, grandps.
Hawk and Dove went looking for Jason in the last season, when Raven communicated with Dawn (probably when she was inside Trigon's hallucination world). So my guess is that Robin vs Robin is actually what it looks: Possesed Dick vs Jason.
Bruce is probably retiring, but he will not do it for now. He's training a new Robin for helping him work meanwhile, and then retiring Batman itself, leaving Jason on his own, with a new codename.
Or at least, I can see writing him with those intentions. But we all know they're going to kill (for real or not) Jason, probably this very same season. So I can see Bruce retiring after his death for real, and then for the next season, Tim would play a role that mixes his original story with Terry's in Batman Beyond: a new Robin (not a batman this time) but working alone, putting Bruce out of semiretirement for his training alone in the role, etc. Dick would play a similar role too, as a lead in the show, being his more direct and present mentor.
And I can see Dick taking on his Nightwing persona actually after Jason's death too (and after Superman and Superboy being thrown to the mix with their kryptonian backstory), even if they wanted to change his cape identity in the last season already.
Know what's a story I could see them adapting? Titans Tomorrow, just substitute a few characters.
Like, S3 Dick is Nightwing and feels absolutely independent and free of it all then suddenly this Batman from the future shows up and shock of all shocks its himself from the future having become the one thing he refused to ever become.
It adds some drama for Dick especially if future him asks what's happened to say Rachel, Kori, and Gar in the 10-20 years between now and the future and future Dick doesn't put it into words but its bad. While you're at it you can say Conner becomes Superman, albeit he would've been reluctant to do so too. Maybe Cyborg's a full on JL member, Hawk and Dove could both have died horribly, or the Doom Patrol sacrificed their lives to save a small town but Niles' body was never found.
I'd rather they just ignore the Doom Patrol since their showrunners clearly aren't interested in a crossover
It's decent but Doom Patrol shits on it.
The Evil batman episode was really well done and almost worth watching for that alone.
Starfire is a colossal fuckup. Looks like a hooker, is older and acts more mature than Robin so fucks up the groups dynamics. Hoping they can use her getting her memories back as a chance to fix her personality
Heard Cyborg was supposed to be going to the Titans after S1 but I'm guessing when writing that having him as a competent straight man worked really well for Doom Patrol.
I don't know user. I honestly liked Starfire a lot. She was a bold fiery badass, looks and age aside.
Was season 1 good?
I didn't see it but I'm going to guess probably not
No.
It was...an incomplete story.
bros how do i marry her?
It was Ok. Enjoyable.
>Niles Caulder literally fucks over the DP one last time as they all die and runs away to live in seclusion afterwards.
Sounds about right.
Aside from one detail, instead of Dick why not future Batman be Jason Todd with Tim Drake as his Nightwing, traveling to the past to stop the Monarch, aka Hank Hall before he becomes too powerful, leading to having much of the season's drama being between saving his friend, or letting future Batman and Nightwing kill him to prevent a bad future.
You remember how Borat married Pamela Anderson? Because that's how.
wait a minute, is that ser jorah mormont as bruce wayne? What the hell. Interesting. Makes bruce way older than normal
How the fuck are they doing Donna 100x better than the comics right now, like she's so accurate to the original version that it's almost jarring compared to the rest of the series that's such a departure
Jason is such a lovable idiot.
Still odd that didn't mention Aqualad at all, especially if is right.
remind me, does this show have weekly releases or all in one go?
True but Hank and Dawn didn't mention Donna either, it just wasn't relevant at the time.
Obviously, in reality it's because they didn't know if they would use Garth in the second season but in-universe it could be explained away as him simply not being in that picture or being in a different one or something like that.
Maybe this time the budget will be big enough that Gar can turn into other things besides just a tiger.
Right, but if Aqualad is fucking dead then surely it would be worth talking about between Dick and Donna. Especially with all of Dick's talk about "leaving the hero life behind" and all that, seems like that would be a pretty good reason to want to live that life behind
I want to TAKE Donna to a NICE DINNER
Yeah, if that's the case it would be weird but honestly, we don't have any reason to think he's dead. For all we know he simply spends a lot of his time in Atlantis or he moved to a different coast.
All of the DCU shows are weekly in the US. Each series leads into the next (Titans > Young Justice >Doom Patrol > Swamp Thing> Young Justice > Harley Quinn Show/Titans...)
in Europe I think it's on Netflix? IDK there.
It's great because Donna's actual job is being a photographer and Conor spends all her free time being a photographer
mine
literally my dream girl
>Originating from New York City, actress Conor Leslie’s talent for storytelling in front of the lens led her to find she had a passion for capturing life as she saw it from behind the lens as well. Picking up her first camera at the age of fifteen, Leslie’s curiosity with photography compelled her to go beyond the digital generation she grew up in and dive into the art of film photography. She climbs into the world of others, with a vision so persistent that the film and camera are only secondary props to Leslie’s craft of seeing and feeling the lives of her subjects. It's with Leslie's astute eye for the subtleties that we pass by every day that come through in her photos which tend to capture a sense of rawness, tenderness, moments of sadness, moments of happiness, and love; honoring the range of truthful emotions that we all experience as human beings. Are we going to see donna's flapjacks this season?
Yep, but it's brough to that platform like 3 or so months after the season finale in the US.
>Dick burns his Robin costume halfway through S1, symbolizing his decision to move on from that part of his past
>Still wearing Robin costume in S2
Why??
Shouldn't he be Nightwing by now?
no one wants to see those things again
>ywn cum on her ajna
IT'S NOT FAIR
I'm a little surprised to find that word here.
Which word, cum?
What are we talking about here
That’s definitely supposed to be Alfred you madmen
Nah.
They really need to have Dick become Nightwing soon. A 30 year old guy running around as Robin is just weird
He hasn't been Robin since episode like 6
They really should have actively looked for a younger actor to play Dick, not that Brenton is bad but yeah, it'd be ideal for Dick to be in his late teens/very early 20s when he abandons being Robin for becoming Nightwing.
He's wearing his Robin outfit in the trailer.
I was hoping that by casting someone that age they would make him into Nightwing by the end of S1, especially with Jason being around. I have no idea why they want to drag it out for so long
Brenton would've made a much better pick for a DCU-style interpretation of The Question, the extreme violence included since I think classic Question used to mercilessly beat criminals and adversaries like it was nothing,
degenerate
Oh man, you know I wonder if that's a flashback
I still think this is gonna be Grant, doesn't really look like Slade
there is no saving that shit OP,let it go
>groups of whites beating up minority bad guys
How are they getting away with this?
didn't develop any characters other than robin on season 1, season 2 has 5 new characters.
great.
After they killed off Dick's cop friend Amy Rohrbach, who was a major ally of his in the comics, I wouldn't be surprised.
Yeah, badly needing some cock
swap middle and bottom
The raven pics or the nutella/nivea pics?
It has to be, doesn't it? Didn't they burn the suit?
As strange as it is to say, we've seen all all different kinds of Deathstroke in the media within the past few years. I guess they're aiming for the one different way to present him now
You do realize the actress in Titans is underage.......
I also saw people on Yea Forums talking about how they wanted to fuck the underage boys from Shazam too around the time it was in theaters. There's some weird people here.
Cool
>She's 15
Huh genuinely didn't know that. In a related matter Jason is a fucking midget.
You have got to be shitting me on Superman not having a supporting character roster. First and foremost Supergirl straight up stole most of his roster for their show. Second Superman may not have the roster like Batman, but that doesn't mean his is shit, far from it.
I would totally dig a Superman show, but that will not happen. If anything they are going to kill of Superman in the infinte crisis, since Supergirl died in the original and her show is still on going. Super Girl could have been great if they went their own way instead of propping her up using Superman mythos and cast, not to mention how everyone has to tell her at least once how she is better than Supes. Her show should have been her in space or in the future allowing her to escape the shadow of the original instead of having her try to replace it.
The shot that sticks out to me is the one where Dick punches Jason, I don't think it's from season 1 and they didn't meet before that so it couldn't be from an earlier flashback
I really hope we don't have to wait until the end of season 2 for Dick to become Nightwing
bruce was is canonically of scottish descent.
that has to be alfred
Implying anyone on Pedochan gives a shit
No, it's Bruce.
We already know it's Slade. Plus Grant is the only Wilson who wasn't cast as far as we know for this season of Titans.
>I don't even want Red Hood at this point
First time here huh?
Jason is pure.
>Aryan Titans
As it should be.
I want Donna to drop her pants and show that nice fat ass she's got in season 2.
