Dam user, I wish I could remember it. I dropped it because it went on a long hiatus. It was a story about a cartoon monkey who takes over his father's role as the star of a long running cartoon show. He's dating a human girl who works with him and she gets pregnant with his kid. There's an old toon wolf and a toon pig girl who also stars on the show, but that's all that comes to mind.

While the girl taming a beastly man is generally about the guy mellowing out and becoming less about their baser urgers, a story with a monster girl would be about a girl with zero self esteem who sees herself as horrific being told that she's not horrible and the guy making her "realize" that she's not horrible because true beauty comes from the inside.
